Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

    Lebanese citizens facing economic hardships are renting refugee certificates from Syrian refugees in the country.

    These papers grant the holder the right to obtain medical treatment and medicines and even to undergo surgery for free.

    Without the refugee documents, ordinary Lebanese would have to pay a fortune for these treatments, or not be able to obtain them at all due to the shortage of doctors and medicines.

    Some Syrian refugees actually live in their homes in Syria but enter Lebanon once a week to receive food packages or medicines to which their refugee status entitles them.

  4. Liberal Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor declined to recuse herself from multiple copyright infringement cases involving book publisher Penguin Random House despite having been paid millions by the firm for her books, making it by far her largest source of income, records show.

    In 2010, she got a $1.2 million book advance from Knopf Doubleday Group, a part of the conglomerate. In 2012, she reported receiving two advance payments from the publisher totaling $1.9 million.

    In 2013, Sotomayor voted in a decision for whether the court should hear a case against the publisher called Aaron Greenspan v. Random House, despite then-fellow Justice Stephen Breyer recusing after also receiving money from the publisher. Greenspan was a Harvard classmate of Mark Zuckerberg’s who wrote a book about the founding of Facebook and contended that Random House rejected his book proposal and then awarded a deal to another author who copied his book and eventually turned it into the movie The Social Network.

    In 2017, Sotomayor began receiving payments each year from Penguin Random House itself, which continued annually through at least 2021, the most recent disclosure available, and totaled more than $500,000. In all, she received $3.6 million from Penguin Random House or its subsidiaries, according to a Daily Wire tally of financial disclosures.

  5. Arabs make up a lot of fake Golda Meir quotes

    Wednesday was the 125th anniversary of Golda Meir’s birth.

    She was known for many memorable expressions, but the Arab world seems to prefer to make up their own.

    Egyptian newspaper El Balad attributes to Meir a series of quotations that are completely fictional. It doesn’t look like they made these up – these fake quotes have been mentioned in Arabic language articles (and even Arab English language articles) for a long time.

    You can tell a lot abut the Arab psyche by their fabrications.

    For example, they claim she said, “Every morning I wish to wake up and not find a single Palestinian child alive.” It is an absurd libel, but it is good propaganda for Arabs who want to demonize Israelis.

    The next lie is that she was asked about the worst and best days of her life, and here’s the fake answer: “The worst day in my life was the day when Al-Aqsa Mosque was burned, because I was afraid of the Arab and Islamic reaction. The happiest day in my life is the next day; because I saw the Arabs and Muslims did not move a finger.”

    This is clearly meant to insult the Arab nations for not invading Israel after that 1969 arson by a mentally ill Christian.…

    Former Vice President Mike Pence made an appearance on Fox News on Thursday morning and warned of the incoming influx of illegal immigrants crossing the border.

    Pence warned, Fox News anchor Bill Hemmer “A storm is coming one week from today at the Southern Border.”

    The former vice president’s warning comes as thousands of migrants are waiting outside of the US Mexico borer waiting for Title 42 to end.

    Rep. Andy Biggs recently told The War Room from 700,000 to one million illegal aliens are prepared to storm across the US southern border when Title 42 comes off. And the Border Patrol is not prepared for it.

    Soros-funded St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner is resigning from office, effective June 1.

    Kim Gardner tweeted her resignation letter.

    Fox 2 Now reported:

    After months of calls, requests, and demands for her to resign, St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner is stepping down. Her resignation is effective June 1.

    Gardner, the city’s first African American chief prosecutor, tweeted her resignation letter to city residents at 3:44 p.m. In the letter, she drew a connection to her presence in power and the Missouri Legislature’s efforts to take over both the circuit attorney’s office and turn control of the city’s police force back over to the state.

    The circuit attorney had faced legal battles on numerous fronts via Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey’s drive to remove her from office and indirect criminal contempt cases, and a dwindling roster of prosecutors in her office due to resignations. It’s a situation at least one St. Louis judge dubbed a “rudderless ship of chaos.”

    The US Border Patrol is readying for the largest illegal migrant surge at the southern border in US history next week.

    Joe Biden is lifting Title 42 – Already, 700,000 to One Million illegals have assembled at the border ready to surge across the US southern border. Joe Biden has opened the borders to millions of illegal invaders.

    Title 42 is expected to be lifted on May 10th.

    22,000 apprehensions were recorded at the border in the last 72 hours.

    Joe Biden is sending 1,500 US troops to the border to process the hundreds of thousands of illegals ready to invade.

    Now, investigative journalist Michael Yon reported that 24 buses of illegal aliens left Darien up Highway 1 on the way to Costa Rica to the USA border.

    “NOW: 24 busses of aliens leaving Darien up Highway 1 on way to Costa Rica to USA. After I stopped taping they kept coming. There will be more tonight. We heading to Darien camp now,” Yon tweeted.
