  2. “I feel sick,” the young woman said.
“What’s wrong? Tell me your symptoms,” replied the doctor. The clinic was busier than usual today. The woman stared at him blankly. It took a moment for him to realize she did not hear what he had just said. Then she, upon watching his lips moving and not hearing him, realized she had suddenly become deaf, as well. The doctor then grabbed his notepad from his white coat and wrote on a page, “tell me what has happened to you.”

The woman read this then opened her mouth to speak. She then discovered she had lost her voice, as well. She clutched at her throat in frustration, then reached for the doctor’s pen and notepad. With an air of desperation she began scribbling words on the paper, but the doctor’s pen, just then, ran out of ink.

Panic descended over the young, pretty woman. What was happening to her? Her breathing became fast and shallow. The doctor saw she was hyperventilating. He touched her shoulder to try to calm her. What on earth was going on here, he wondered? He had never seen anything quite like it. He began making mental notes of what he was observing. Her illness was onsetting in real time. Was she poisoned by something? Snake bite? Can’t talk. Can’t hear…

“Doctor,” said nurse Jones as she appeared in the doorway. “I’m sorry to interrupt, but Doctor Paritsky asks that you come immediately to see him. He has a patient with symptoms unfamiliar to him.”
“–Sudden onset of deafness and the loss of voice?”
“Uh,” replied the nurse, startled, “yes, exactly. And there are more and more people showing up in the waiting room with the same thing. We’re, uh, suddenly overwhelmed.”

Dr. Paritsky took a breath and set his gaze back on the patient before him. What, or who, was poisoning the population, and how? A lot of honest questions needed to be asked and a lot of honest answers needed to be found. Right now.

  3. New York Times -Leaks Investigation

Airman Faces Two Counts Related to Leaked Documents

Jack Teixeira, a 21-year-old member of the Massachusetts Air National Guard, was charged with two counts related to retaining and distributing classified and national defense information. He is being detained in Boston. Here’s what to know:

The National Guardsman faces two counts related to the leaked documents.
Teixeira’s case is unusual even in the small world of leak cases.
As top Republicans in Congress condemn the leaks, a prominent far-right lawmaker defends the suspect.

It’s typical for a national guardsman with Teixeira’s job to have top-secret clearance.
Teixeira was aware of the consequences of his actions, charging documents say.
The National Guardsman faces two counts related to the leaked documents.

The Massachusetts Air National Guardsman who is accused of leaking hundreds of U.S. classified documents on a gaming chat server was charged on Friday as federal prosecutors disclosed more details about how sensitive government information may have been disseminated online.

Prosecutors in federal court in Boston charged Airman First Class Jack Teixeira, 21, with two separate counts: The unauthorized retention and transmission of national defense information and the unauthorized removal and retention of classified documents or material. He will remain in custody, and is scheduled to have a detention hearing on Wednesday, according to the U.S. attorney’s office for Massachusetts.

Teixeira’s case is unusual even in the small world of leak cases.

It is hard to predict how the case against Jack Teixeira, the 21-year-old Air National Guardsman accused of leaking classified documents to friends on a gaming server, will play out — both because the matter is still very preliminary and because the facts are so unusual that there is limited value in comparing it to the general pattern of leak cases.

Based on the charging documents in his case, Airman Teixeira does not appear to have been acting as a foreign agent, differentiating him from classic spying cases. He also does not appear to have been acting as a whistle-blower or otherwise trying to educate the general public by sharing secrets with the news media for publication, making his case different from another sort that has become more common in the 21st century.

Here are the two laws that Teixeira is accused of violating.

The two laws cited in the F.B.I.’s criminal complaint against Airman First Class Jack Teixeira, the 21-year-old member of the Massachusetts Air National Guard who is accused of leaking classified documents, center on protecting government secrets.

Patrick M. Lueckenhoff, an F.B.I. special agent, told a federal judge on Friday that there was probable cause to believe Airman Teixeira had violated two parts of Title 18 of the federal code: Section 793 and Section 1924.

As top Republicans in Congress condemn the leaks, a prominent far-right lawmaker defends the suspect.

Top Republicans on Friday praised the arrest of the airman charged with leaking classified documents on a gaming server, even as Speaker Kevin McCarthy accused the Biden administration of having been “asleep at the switch” on protecting the nation’s secrets.

But Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia went several steps further in blaming President Biden for the breach, suggesting that the suspect was a “hero” who had exposed government secrets the administration has tried to conceal and was being unfairly targeted for his right-wing views.

It’s typical for a national guardsman with Teixeira’s job to have top-secret clearance.

The charging documents against Jack Teixeira, 21-year-old airman first class who is accused of leaking classified documents, indicate that he was granted a top-secret security clearance in 2021, which was required for his job as a computer network technician in the Massachusetts Air National Guard.

While that may sound like an exceptional degree of access for such a junior-ranking service member, having top secret clearance in that job is perfunctory.

The suspect’s gaming friends say the classified documents were shared to show them what war really is.

The 21-year-old National Guard airman was frantic as he joined a call with members of a small online gamer community that has improbably ended up at the center of a federal investigation into a major U.S. security breach.

It sounded as if the airman, Jack Teixeira, was in a speeding car, said a member of the group who uses the screen name Vahki.

Teixeira was aware of the consequences of his actions, charging documents say

The Justice Department charged Jack D. Teixeira, a 21-year-old member of the Air National Guard in Massachusetts, with unlawfully retaining and transmitting top secret documents on Friday after he reportedly posted highly sensitive intelligence reports on the war in Ukraine to social media.

Airman Teixeira, appearing before a magistrate judge at a federal courthouse in Boston handcuffed and in a beige prison uniform, was charged under two federal laws prohibiting the unauthorized retention, removal and transmission of national defense information and classified materials.

A trail of digital evidence led to a 21-year-old Air National Guardsman.

Although gaming friends would not identify the leader of an online group linked to the leak of classified United States intelligence files, a trail of digital evidence compiled by The New York Times led toward Jack Teixeira, a 21-year-old member of the intelligence wing of the Massachusetts Air National Guard.

An online gaming profile in Airman Teixeira’s name connected him to photographs of the location where leaked documents were photographed — a kitchen countertop inside his childhood home.

What is the intelligence mission of the Massachusetts Air National Guard?

Jack Teixeira, the 21-year-old Airman First Class in the Massachusetts Air National Guard who was arrested on Thursday in connection with the intelligence breach, was trained as what the military calls a “Cyber Transport Systems Journeyman.”

The service’s career website says cybertransport systems specialists are responsible for keeping the force’s communication networks running. Mr. Teixeira is assigned to the 102nd Intelligence Wing, headquartered on Otis Air National Guard Base on Joint Base Cape Cod in Eastern Massachusetts.

Jack Teixeira followed his family into the military.

While talking with friends online, Jack Teixeira, the air national guardsman who was arrested by federal investigators on Thursday for his role in the leak of a cache of classified U.S. intelligence documents, assumed the role of a leader.

He guided a group of 20 to 30 people, mostly young men and teenagers, as they bonded over guns, racist memes, video games and international politics

Leaked documents revealed secret U.S. intelligence. What did they say?

The trove of U.S. intelligence documents leaked online over the last few months has shed light on the state of the war in Ukraine and revealed secrets about both friends and foes. Though the documents have not fundamentally altered the understanding of the war, they have filled in some details and offered insights into how it has unfolded.

They detailed secret American and NATO plans for building up the Ukrainian military, suggested that the Ukrainian forces were in more dire straits than their government has acknowledged publicly and outlined “wild card” scenarios that could alter the course of the war.

What is Discord, the app where the leaked documents were found?

Discord, the 8-year-old social media and messaging platform popular among young people and video game players, has increasingly become a mainstream part of the internet.

It was introduced in 2015 as a chat application that people could use to communicate with one another while playing games. The platform was a niche product until the pandemic, when young people were searching for ways to chat with their friends and joining online communities. By late 2021, it had more than 150 million active users each month.

It uses servers — essentially, chat rooms — designed for specific groups or interests. Some have millions of members, while others are private, smaller communities.

Leaked Pentagon documents were said to have been circulating on the platform as early as March before appearing on other sites. The leaks are the latest episode in recent years in which Discord has played a key role, and enforcing its own content moderation policies has been a tricky issue.

CNN – How the Pentagon leaks case compares to Chelsea Manning’s

    • APRIL 15 2023 – NEW YORK TIMES – Pentagon Leaks: New Twists in a Familiar Plot

Some in Ukraine even welcomed the disclosures as confirming what they have been saying for months — that its forces desperately need more weapons and munitions.

In the leaked American intelligence documents, Ukraine’s predicament looks dire.

Missiles for its Soviet-era air defenses are projected to run out by May. Its position in the key city of Bakhmut is “catastrophic.” Its military has taken losses of more than 120,000 dead and wounded — less than Russia’s estimated toll, but enormous for a country with less than one third of Russia’s population.

Yet in Kyiv, Ukraine’s capital, this past week, there was little palpable alarm about the scores of pages of classified documents that have surfaced in one of the most remarkable disclosures of American secrets in the last decade. In fact, some welcomed the leak, hoping that it would emphasize what President Volodymyr Zelensky has been saying for months — that Ukraine urgently needs more ammunition and weapons to expel the Russian forces.

“From many points of view, this leak is really useful, and good, even I can say good for Ukraine,” said Oleksiy Honcharenko, a member of Parliament in the opposition European Solidarity party.

He said that unless Ukraine’s Western backers rushed to provide more than what he called “incremental’’ support, then “everything can go to waste, because so much is at stake today.”

The Pentagon intelligence updates and briefing slides that have dribbled into public view this month — after being posted on a gaming chat server by a 21-year-old Air National Guardsman, the authorities say — have offered new details about the state of the war. But they have not fundamentally altered the overall picture of it, according to Western analysts and policymakers.

They say the new material largely adheres to what they already knew about the war — and won’t upend how they are handling it.

“This doesn’t change our stance,” said Nils Schmid, the foreign policy spokesman in Germany’s Parliament for the Social Democrats, the party of Chancellor Olaf Scholz in the country’s three-way coalition. “We understand that now is the time to provide armaments to Ukraine.”

But as Ukraine prepares for a long-anticipated counteroffensive that could usher in a new phase of the nearly 14-month war, the documents are focusing heightened attention on Ukraine’s challenges, the shortcomings in Western military aid and the uncertainty of what comes next.

Whether Ukraine’s Western allies are going to be able to deliver what Kyiv needs in this crucial moment is a major open question. European officials say they are working to speed more artillery shells to Ukraine, but are acknowledging that they may not be able to reach the goal of delivering one million rounds this year.

“We can’t produce much more, at least not quickly,” said Ulrich Speck, a German foreign policy analyst. “Going forward, what can Europe still give? Now it’s harder, a realization we don’t have the ability to get things fast enough.”

Some analysts noted that the intelligence does not determine how the war will actually unfold. Ukraine’s allies vastly underestimated its capabilities in the past, predicting that Russian forces would overrun Kyiv in the opening days of the war. On top of that, the documents gauge conditions more than six weeks ago. Battlefield realities change fast.

But the leaked documents clearly show how heavily the war effort relies on the United States. American intelligence agencies have gotten inside Russia’s military enough to give real-time warnings to Ukraine on the timing of Moscow’s airstrikes, and even its specific targets. Several leaked slides show satellite imagery of the aftermath of Ukrainian airstrikes on what are described as “US-produced” targets in Russian-held territory — new evidence that the United States is providing precise targeting data.

One of the West’s biggest concerns about the leaks has been that Russia would scramble to find and seal off the sources of American intelligence. But in the week since the classified documents were posted widely on Telegram and Twitter, that fear has yet to materialize, two senior U.S. officials said: There is no indication that the Kremlin has taken steps to block the United States from penetrating Russia’s security and intelligence services.

Nor is there any sign yet that Russian commanders have changed their operations on the ground in Ukraine in response to the disclosures, the two U.S. officials said.

Beyond that, Ukrainian officials, while voicing their displeasure with the leaks, have told American officials that the disclosures will not seriously impact their planned offensive because Russia already knew the broad parameters of Ukrainian vulnerabilities (like its shortages of weapons and ammunition). And the documents did not disclose precisely when, where and how the Ukrainians would carry out their counteroffensive, one senior U.S. official said.

“It’s hard for me to believe this will dramatically change Ukraine’s short-term plans for its counteroffensive,” said Samuel Charap, a Russia analyst at the RAND Corporation. “There’s been discussion in open sources about the likely direction being south. Whether it affects the timing, perhaps.”

While the documents show that American spy agencies have intercepted Russian military communications, sometimes down to the details of planned Russian attacks, they offer little indication that the United States has been able to eavesdrop on the conversations of Russia’s leadership.

In the documents seen by The New York Times — which include many but not all of the hundreds of pages posted online — information about President Vladimir V. Putin and his inner circle appears mainly as hearsay. An entry describing a sensational plot by senior Russian officials to sabotage the invasion is attributed to a Ukrainian lawmaker “who received information from an unidentified Russian source with access to Kremlin officials.”

The lack of direct information about Mr. Putin could reflect the American intelligence community’s challenges in collecting information on a leader who has enveloped himself in an extraordinary cocoon of secrecy. Still, the documents offer only a small window into the breadth of American intelligence collection, leaning on information gleaned from electronic intercepts rather than on the C.I.A.’s network of human sources, which the agency guards much more carefully.

In Russia, many supporters of the war have warned that the leaks could be part of a ruse. The new details on the headwinds facing Ukraine’s military effort — including projections that key stocks of air defense missiles would be fully depleted by early May — are so extensive that some pro-Kremlin commentators have dismissed them as possible Western disinformation meant to get Russia to let its guard down.

“We would be happy if this were true,” a talk-show host on Russian state television, Olga Skabeyeva, quipped in a segment about the leaks last Tuesday.

But the documents also detail the Russian military’s myriad challenges and its devastating losses, offering a behind-the-scenes view into why Western officials believe that the war is likely to drag into next year. Russia’s slow-moving offensive in eastern Ukraine’s Donbas region “is likely heading toward a stalemate,” a Feb. 22 briefing slide predicts, with high Russian combat losses and diminishing munitions stockpiles “resulting in a protracted war beyond 2023.”

For some, that offers a reminder that the war is far more likely to end in some kind of negotiated settlement than with a decisive military victory for either side.

“We know that Ukraine needs to tilt the military balance in its favor to pave the way for negotiations,” Mr. Schmid, the German lawmaker, said.

For the cadre of analysts around the world parsing social-media videos and commercial satellite imagery to glean information about the war, the intelligence leaks have provided new data points. But several said they saw nothing that caused them to revise their fundamental views of the war, which also point to a protracted conflict.

One independent Russian military analyst, Ruslan Leviev, said the documents matched his prior conclusions, including his view that Ukraine’s challenges in mobilizing soldiers and obtaining ammunition meant the upcoming counteroffensive would not be able to deliver a decisive victory. Rob Lee, a senior fellow with the Foreign Policy Research Institute, said he had not seen anything that “changed my mind tremendously.”

But he warned that the outcome of Ukraine’s counteroffensive — and the war — rested on factors that even American intelligence agencies were hard pressed to measure, such as the morale of troops on both sides and how well they would perform.

“There’s a lot about this war that we still don’t know, or that we can’t have certainty about,” Mr. Lee said. “It’s war, and you can never have perfect information.”

    • APRIL 15 2023 -The leaks painted a grim picture of the Ukraine war. Here’s the current reality.

Hope is not a strategy, as pragmatic military analysts often observe. But still, Ukraine’s will to win — its determination to expel Russian invaders from its territory at whatever cost — might be the X-factor in the decisive season of conflict ahead.

Nearly two months have passed since U.S. intelligence analysts assessed that the war in Ukraine was locked in a “grinding campaign of attrition” and was “likely heading toward a stalemate,” according to one of the scores of documents allegedly leaked by Airman 1st Class Jack Teixeira.

So, what’s the order of battle, on the eve of Ukraine’s planned spring counteroffensive to break the impasse and drive back the Russians? Rather than depend on older assessments from the leaked documents, I spoke Thursday with several senior U.S. officials who follow the war closely. This account is based on their comments.

Little has changed to alter the basic picture, officials told me.

The good news for Ukraine is that Russia’s planned winter offensive has failed to take much ground. The Russians have lost thousands of soldiers in an attempt to seize Bakhmut and control the surrounding Donbas region. They have gained control of 70 to 80 percent of Bakhmut, but the Ukrainians have held on at a terrible cost, avoiding a symbolic defeat.

U.S. officials have argued for months that Ukrainian forces should retreat to higher ground west of Bakhmut, which they could defend more easily. But the Ukrainians, led by President Volodymyr Zelensky, chose to stand and fight. As in the first days of the war, a Ukrainian campaign buoyed more by hope than military logic did better than the Pentagon expected.

Bakhmut has been a “meat grinder,” according to Yevgeniy Prigozhin, the Russian oligarch who controls the Wagner Group militia, whose convict-troops have spilled rivers of blood there. Prigozhin wrote in a Telegram post on Friday: “Bakhmut is extremely beneficial for us, [as] we grind the Ukrainian army there and restrain their movement.” But a further Russian breakthrough remains, “to put it mildly, not very likely.”

The “special military operation,” as Russia calls its Ukraine invasion, “will solve many of [its] tasks” by holding current territory, “plus or minus a couple of tens of kilometers,” Prigozhin said. This continuing stalemate apparently would satisfy Russian hopes for a limited victory. Prigozhin’s dark salutation: “See you at Bakhmut.”

Russia keeps feeding the grinder. They resupply their lines around Bakhmut as fast as they lose people, one U.S. official said. But he cautioned that some members of President Vladimir Putin’s inner circle know that this protracted campaign is folly and that resistance to Putin inside Russia is slowly growing.

“Many of those who supported the special operation yesterday are now in doubt or categorically against what is happening,” Prigozhin noted.

An example of this internal dissent was in evidence on a phone call that was leaked last month, in which two prominent Russians denounced the country’s leaders as “stupid cockroaches” who are “dragging their country downwards” and “destroying its future.” According to Tatiana Stanovaya of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, “rage and despair” are increasingly widespread among the Russian elite.

A startling sign of this ferment was the defection in October of Gleb Karakulov, a member of Putin’s Kremlin palace guard known as the Federal Protective Service, or FSO. “Our president has become a war criminal. It is time to end this war and stop being silent,” Karakulov said after fleeing to Turkey from Kazakhstan, where he had accompanied Putin on a trip. Until he defected, Karakulov had been responsible for Putin’s communications security and had made more than 180 trips with him.

What’s the Ukrainian combat goal? To break out of the Donbas stalemate, Zelensky has been planning a counteroffensive that would use new tanks and other mobile vehicles, protected by air-defense equipment and backed by recently recruited and trained troops. The aim is a fast-moving combined-arms campaign that would punch through heavily fortified Russian lines in the east and south.

U.S. officials recognize the obstacles that Ukraine faces in this ambitious plan. Officials still concur with a February assessment: that “enduring Ukrainian deficiencies in training and munitions supplies probably will strain progress and exacerbate casualties during the offensive,” and that the most likely outcome remains only modest territorial gains.

But the Ukrainians have accomplished combat miracles before, and U.S. officials share the hope it can happen again. “Based on rehearsals and war games, they do have a chance of success,” says one senior Pentagon official.

As Ukraine steps toward the moment of decision, the United States must be certain it has given them all the tools they need to succeed. President Biden doesn’t want to start World War III, but he will look back with regret if the United States and its allies leave any weapons or ammunition on the sidelines that could responsibly be used in this conflict. Whatever Biden might wish later he had done if things go badly, he should do now.

  4. What The Bud Light Fiasco Reveals About The Ruling Class
    Tyler Durden’s Photo
    BY TYLER DURDEN
    FRIDAY, APR 14, 2023 – 05:20 PM
Authored by Jeffrey Tucker via The Brownstone Institute,

What were they thinking? How did someone believe that making “trans woman” Dylan Mulvaney the icon of a Bud Light ad campaign, complete with a beer can with Mulvaney’s image on it, would be good for sales? With an ad featuring this person vamping around in the most preposterously possible way?

Dylan, who had previously been interviewed on trans issues by President Biden himself, was celebrating “365 Days of Girlhood” with a grotesquely misogynistic caricature that would disgust just about the whole market for this beer. Indeed, this person’s cosplay might as well be designed to discredit the entire political agenda of gender dysphoriacs.

Sure enough, because we don’t have mandates on what beers you must buy, sales of the beer plummeted.

The parent company Anheuser-Busch’s stock lost $5 billion or 4 percent in value since the ad campaign rollout. Sales have fallen 50-70 percent. Now there is worry within the company of a widening boycott to all their brands. A local Missouri distributor of the product canceled an appearance by Budweiser Clydesdale horses due to public anger.

Ads are supposed to sell products, not prompt a massive public backlash that results in billions in losses. This mistake could be for the ages, marking a distinct departure from corporate deference to wackadoodle ideas from the academy and a push for more connection to on-the-ground realities.

The person who made the miscalculation is Alissa Gordon Heinerscheid, Vice President in charge of marketing for Bud Light. She explained that her intention was to make the beer King of ‘Woke’ Beers. She wanted to shift away from the “out of touch” frat party image to one of “inclusivity.” By all accounts, she actually believed this. More likely, she was rationalizing actions that would earn her bragging rights within her social circle.

Digging through her personal biography, we find all the predictable signs of tremendous detachment from regular life: elite boarding

  6. Lingerie Brand Billed as “Created By Women, For Women” Features Ad of Biological Male in Bra and Panties

Luxury lingerie brand Honey Birdette bills the company as created ‘by women, for women.”

Taking a page out of the Bud Light marketing plan, which led to a nationwide boycott resulting in the reported loss of reportedly over $7 billion in market cap value in recent days, Birdette “celebrated” women by putting a biological man in lingerie in a recent ad.

In an Instagram post on Wednesday, Birdette featured a male model in their new “RUBY” 3-piece lingerie set. Model Jake DuPree poses in a red bra, panties, and red matching stockings. The caption reads, “Red curtain moment! @jakedupree stars in the RUBY 3 piece set.”Why a biological male is wearing a bra, with no breasts to support, is anyones guess.

” A fourth aspect is that Islam provides a legal basis for the relationship of the Muslim community with other groups, as is clear from the quotation from Zad al-Mi’ad.

This legal formulation is based on the principle that Islam — that is, submission to God — is a universal Message which the whole of mankind should accept or make peace with.

NO political system or material power should put hindrance in the way of preaching Islam. It should leave every individual free to accept or reject it, and if someone wants to accept it, it should not prevent him or fight against him. If someone does this, then it is the duty of Islam to fight him until either he is killed or until he declares submission.

  8. The Biden Family European Vacation to Ireland Reminded Americans of the Griswold Family Vacations in the 1980s
    By Joe Hoft Apr. 15, 2023 9:15 am29 Comments

This family vacation was even more comical than the Griswold family vacations in the 1980s.

The Biden family decided to visit distant relatives in Ireland and enjoy a vacation together at the same time. Instead we saw something much different.

David Marcus at Daily Mail said it nicely:

Renowned artist, international playboy, scallywag and presidential scion, Hunter Biden is prancing around the Emerald Isle with his dear old dad, all the while under Justice Department and Congressional investigations.

Must be nice. But back at home, Americans have a few questions.

In fact, millions have been waiting years to resolve the myriad probes and scandals swarming around the troubled second son of the president. And instead, they get slapped in the face with this?

  9. Still Nothing from Corrupt DOJ After Ex White House Aide Provides Evidence of Biden Crimes – Dan Ball Discusses with TGP’s Joe Hoft on OANN
    By Joe Hoft Apr. 15, 2023 9:50 am1 Comment

This past week it was reported that an ex-aide of the Obama White House provided the DOJ evidence of Biden crimes in 2014. The DOJ has ignored this evidence to date.

The DOJ is beyond corrupt. It spends its time attempting to take down President Trump and Christian Americans who pray outside abortion clinics but it ignores the multitude of treasonous crimes that occurred in the Obama-Biden White House.

American freedom is done until this gets fixed.

This past week former Obama stenographer Mike McCormick claimed that in 2014 then-Vice President Biden used American taxpayer money to enrich his family and he said that Hunter Biden and Jake Sullivan were in on it.

    By Warren Beatty
NBC News recently touted a report by the U.N. Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) that says, “The chance to secure a livable future for everyone on Earth is slipping away.” It further reported, “There is a rapidly closing window of opportunity to secure a livable and sustainable future for all.” This was echoed by Manish Bapna, president of the Natural Resources Defense Council: “This is the stone cold truth laid out in unassailable science by the world’s top climate experts. We’re hurtling down the road to ruin and running out of time to change course.”

That’s the same U.N. that was wrong 34 years ago when Noel Brown, director of the New York office of the U.N. Environment Program, said that “entire nations could be wiped off the face of the earth by rising sea levels if the global warming trend is not reversed by the year 2000.”

Fiona Harvey, Environment Editor at the Guardian, says, “Scientists have delivered a ‘final warning’ on the climate crisis, as rising greenhouse gas emissions push the world to the brink of irrevocable damage that only swift and drastic action can avert.” She cited a report from the IPCC, comprised of the world’s leading climate scientists.

  13. Anti-Trump RINO: It’s Time To Accept That Trump Will Be The GOP Nominee
By ProTrumpNews Staff Apr. 15, 2023 10:50 am

Even RINOs know that Donald Trump is the GOP frontrunner.

Columnist Matt Lewis, who left the GOP because of Donald Trump — and then “returned” — wrote in an op-ed that “it seems likely” that Trump “will once again be the GOP nominee.”

Lewis is now hoping that Trump loses in the general election

Lewis added, “what I am telling myself lately is that, if Trump is destined for the nomination, something good might come from that…assuming he loses unambiguously (a big assumption), it would be hard for Republicans to picture Trump as a romantic hero if he leads them to yet another defeat.”

Lewis, who briefly quit the GOP due to Trump, claims he doesn’t see any Republican on the horizon who is willing, or able, to wrest control of the party from the now indicted-former president. But the silver lining , he claims, is that Trump’s polling numbers show his approval number are headed straight down — or as MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski put it: “dropping like a rock” — and that could mean a career-ending loss in November 2024.

“Despite the obvious danger Trump poses, it seems likely that he will once again be the GOP nominee. The most plausible scenario for him not winning is that he could possibly die between now and the election. Trump is the clear frontrunner for the nomination. And the only possible solace I can take from this revelation is that it might finally bring an end to Trump’s grip on the Republican Party,” Lewis wrote.

    Raw Story reported:

If Lewis is banking on Trump losing in 2024, he’s in trouble.

A recent poll found 47% saying they would vote for Donald Trump while only 40% say they would vote for Joe Biden.

    Rasmussen reports reported:

If President Joe Biden seeks a second term in 2024, he faces an uphill battle for reelection against either of the two leading Republican candidates.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that, if the 2024 presidential election were between Biden and former President Donald Trump, 47% of Likely U.S. voters would vote for Trump, while 40% would vote for Biden. Another 11% say they would vote for some other candidate. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

  14. zero hedge –IMF Unveils New Global Currency Known As The “Universal Monetary Unit” To “Transform” World Economy

A new global currency just launched, but 99 percent of the global population has no idea what just happened.

The “Universal Monetary Unit”, also known as “Unicoin”, is an “international central bank digital currency” that has been designed to work in conjunction with all existing national currencies. This should set off alarm bells for all of us, because the widespread adoption of a new “global currency” would be a giant step forward for the globalist agenda. The IMF did not create this new currency, but it was unveiled at a major IMF gathering earlier this week…

Today, at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Spring Meetings 2023, the Digital Currency Monetary Authority (DCMA) announced their official launch of an international central bank digital currency (CBDC) that strengthens the monetary sovereignty of participating central banks and complies with the recent crypto assets policy recommendations proposed by the IMF.

Universal Monetary Unit (UMU), symbolized as ANSI Character, Ü, is legally a money commodity, can transact in any legal tender settlement currency, and functions like a CBDC to enforce banking regulations and to protect the financial integrity of the international banking system.

As the press release quoted above indicates, this new “Universal Monetary Unit” was created by the Digital Currency Monetary Authority.

So who in the world is the Digital Currency Monetary Authority?

Honestly, I had no idea until I started doing research for this article.

The press release says that the organization consists of “sovereign states, central banks, commercial and retail banks, and other financial institutions”…

The DCMA is a world leader in the advocacy of digital currency and monetary policy innovations for governments and central banks. Membership within the DCMA consists of sovereign states, central banks, commercial and retail banks, and other financial institutions.

Basically, it sounds like a secretive cabal of international banks and national governments is conspiring to push this new currency down our throats.

We are being told that the “Universal Monetary Unit” is “‘Crypto 2.0”, and those that created it are hoping that it will be widely adopted by “all constituencies in a global economy”…

The DCMA introduces Universal Monetary Unit as Crypto 2.0 because it innovates a new wave of cryptographic technologies for realizing a digital currency public monetary system with a widespread adoption framework encompassing use cases for all constituencies in a global economy.

I don’t know about you, but this sounds super shady to me.

Of course the Digital Currency Monetary Authority is not the only one that has been working on a new digital currency.

The UK has also been working on one.

The same is true for the European Union.

And would it surprise anyone that the Biden administration is touting the potential benefits of a “digital form of the U.S. dollar”? The following comes from the official White House website…

A United States central bank digital currency (CBDC) would be a digital form of the U.S. dollar. While the U.S. has not yet decided whether it will pursue a CBDC, the U.S. has been closely examining the implications of, and options for, issuing a CBDC. If the U.S. pursued a CBDC, there could be many possible benefits, such as facilitating efficient and low-cost transactions, fostering greater access to the financial system, boosting economic growth, and supporting the continued centrality of the U.S. within the international financial system.

I don’t think that it is a coincidence that governments all over the western world are simultaneously developing CBDCs.

And the IMF has actually already put together an extensive handbook “to assist central banks and governments throughout the world in their CBDC rollouts”…

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) is putting together a Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) handbook to assist central banks and governments throughout the world in their CBDC rollouts.

    https://sociable.co/government-and-policy/imf-cbdc-handbook-central-bank-govt-rollouts/

Published publicly on April 10, the “IMF Approach to Central Bank Digital Currency Capacity Development” report outlines the IMF’s multi-year strategy for aiding CBDC rollouts, including the development of a living “CBDC Handbook” for monetary authorities to follow.

A lot of people out there will cheer when these digital currencies are introduced.

But it is imperative to understand that once everyone is using them, your financial privacy will be almost totally gone.

Authorities will be able to track virtually everything that you buy and sell, and I am sure that they won’t hesitate to use that information against you.

Needless to say, the potential for tyranny in such a system is off the charts.

Can you imagine a world in which you are restricted from buying meat for a while because you have already used your “carbon credits” for the month?

Your “financial privileges” could potentially be restricted at any time at the whim of a government bureaucrat, and if you are a big enough troublemaker you could be “deplatformed” from the system permanently.

Of course in order for such a system to have real teeth, cash and other forms of payment will need to be phased out, and that is precisely what is happening right now in Europe. The following comes from the official website of the European Parliament…

To restrict transactions in cash and crypto assets, MEPs want to cap payments that can be accepted by persons providing goods or services. They set limits up to €7000 for cash payments and €1000 for crypto-asset transfers, where the customer cannot be identified.

Ultimately, they will just keep lowering the limits until the use of cash is almost completely eliminated.

Everyone will be slowly but surely forced on to the new digital system, and it will be a system that they control with an iron fist.

And most people will willingly go along with it. These days, most people are just scraping by from month to month and one recent survey found that 70 percent of all Americans are “financially stressed” at this point…

Inflation, economic instability and a lack of savings have an increasing number of Americans feeling financially stressed.

Some 70% of Americans admit to being stressed about their personal finances these days and a majority — 52% — of U.S. adults said their financial stress has increased since before the Covid-19 pandemic began in March 2020, according to a new CNBC Your Money Financial Confidence Survey conducted in partnership with Momentive.

Most Americans simply do not care that these new digital currencies could open a door for great tyranny.

They just want to be able to pay the bills and take care of their families, and if our politicians tell them that this new system is good for the economy they will be all for it.

But those of us that are awake know that more globalism doesn’t lead anywhere good.

Concentrating even more power in the hands of the international elite is always a bad idea, and hopefully we can start to get more people to understand this.

  19. EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: “They Don’t Even Hide The Fact That They’re Cheating” – Conservative Actor Kevin Sorbo Speaks Out Against Woke Leftist “Cancel Culture Punks” and Stolen Elections (VIDEO)
    By Jordan Conradson Apr. 15, 2023 7:30 pm13 Comments

Kari Lake and conservative actor Kevin Sorbo spoke last Friday at the annual Good Friday Prayer Breakfast in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, with Iowa elected officials and conservative Christian patriots in attendance.

Lake, whose election for Arizona Governor was rigged and stolen, traveled to Iowa last week for multiple events.

Kari Lake hosted massive sold-out crowd Wednesday in liberal Iowa City and Thursday in Story County. When Lake introduced herself on Wednesday night and said she ran for Governor in Arizona, the crowd in Iowa’s most liberal city responded, “And won!”

The Gateway Pundit reported that one angry and crazed leftist interrupted the event, screamed “F*ck you” at Kari Lake, and then ran away like a coward.

  20. A recent rape case in Morocco, gives some insight into that society:
    https://news.yahoo.com/morocco-court-ups-jail-terms-073245321.html
Lawyers for the girl, who is now 12, had appealed after a lower court sentenced one of her three alleged attackers to two years in prison, and the others to 18 months each.
    [..]
The defendants faced the same charges as in the original trial — “misappropriation of a minor” and “indecent assault on a minor with violence”.
The prosecution requested that “rape” be added to the charges, a request rejected by the judge.
    [..]
One of the men was confronted with a DNA test proving that he is the father of a now 13-month-old child born to the girl.
Asked how this happened, he repeatedly said, “I don’t know.”

A sentence from ’21, an even more horrifying case:
    https://www.bbc.com/news/world-africa-58662286
A Moroccan court has handed down 20-year prison sentences to 11 men found guilty of brutally raping and kidnapping a 17-year-old woman in 2018, according to the prosecution lawyer.
The young woman – called Khadija – had gone public with the assault showing the scars, burns and tattoos she says the perpetrators inflicted on her.
    [..]
Human rights campaigners warn that attacks against women are common in Morocco, with a study showing that more than half of women had experienced violence.
In 2018 the government passed a law criminalising violence against women including a ban on forced marriage, sexual harassment in public places, and tougher penalties for certain forms of violence.
But it was criticised by Human Rights Watch for not explicitly criminalising marital rape and lacking a precise definition of domestic violence.
