2. Hey, Siri: Hackers Can Control Smart Devices Using Inaudible Sounds
A technique, dubbed the “Near-Ultrasound Inaudible Trojan” (NUIT), allows an attacker to exploit smartphones and smart speakers over the Internet, using sounds undetectable by humans.
The sensitivity of voice-controlled microphones could allow cyberattackers to issue commands to smartphones, smart speakers, and other connected devices using near-ultrasound frequencies undetectable by humans for a variety of nefarious outcomes — including taking over apps that control home Internet of Things (IoT) devices.
The technique, dubbed a Near-Ultrasound Inaudible Trojan (NUIT), exploits voice assistants like Siri, Google Assistant, or Alexa and the ability of many smart devices to be controlled by sound. According to researchers at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) and the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs (UCCS), most devices are so sensitive that they can pick up voice commands even if the sounds are not in the normal frequency range of human voices.
In a series of videos posted online, the researchers demonstrated attacks on a variety of devices, including iOS and Android smartphones, Google Home and Amazon Echo smart speakers, and Windows Cortana.
In one scenario, a user might be browsing a website that is playing NUIT attack commands in the background. The victim might have a mobile phone with voice control enabled in close proximity. The first command issued by the attacker might be to turn down the assistant’s volume so that responses are harder to hear, and thus less likely to be noticed. After that, subsequent commands could ask the assistant to use a smart-door app to unlock the front door let’s say. In less concerning scenarios, commands could cause an Amazon Alexa device to start playing music or give a weather report.

Today, as Iran threatens to annihilate Israel with nuclear weapons, it cannot care less about an Israeli’s political affiliation or religious orientation. All Jew haters have one thing on their mind, that’s to murder Jews — any Jew.

I post this because every time the media is stoked full of nonsense about persecution of groups who have more real power than the mainstream of Western humanity, a quick look at FBI or RCMP stats shows that ‘hate-crimes’ or actual crimes, either physical attacks or property crimes against people because of the group membership of those people, is against Jewish people and by a large percentage beyond any other group attack. Antisemitism is the racism allowed by the left because the intention of the left is to destroy all group cohesion by anyone other than communist or communist party membership. The entire pronoun nonsense is most likely an attempt at a precursor to have only one pronoun. “Comrade”. And Jews have been a stubborn group identity for 5000 years despite the best efforts of Muslims, Romans,. Greeks, ancient Egyptians, Philistines, Iranians (as apart from Persians) and more I don’t remember or ever knew who expelled the Jewish people from Israel and attempted to eliminate them from the family of humanity. The current US led colour revolution being fomented in Israel is an existential threat to that one percent of one percent of humanity. It is proof that the use of the term, “diversity” by the left to describe what they want is maybe the most cynical thing ever spoken since “Work shall set you free” on the gates of Auschwitz. What they want is the elimination of diversity. Even of men and women. To be replaced with a society of aphids. Israel should not be destroyed. It should be copied by every group that has its own organizational principles and ways of law and culture to be enforced within its borders.
This does not mean there are not “dialectical Jews” as there are dialectical Christians and every other person who in reality is a communist or far left extremist who uses his group identity to generate hatred against that group for the purposes of smashing the group to pulp. There are. And they are well used by the left and what are considered Right Wing antisemites. But we see that with all groups. Being aware of it is more important now than it ever was.

5. BREAKING: Texas Federal Judge Issues Ruling in Crucial Abortion Pill Case
‘The FDA never had the authority to approve these hazardous drugs and remove important safeguards…’
A federal judge in Texas issued a much anticipated ruling Friday that, if it holds up in court, could take the abortion drug mifepristone off pharmacy shelves due to safety concerns and in doing so, prevent over half of the abortions that take place in the country.
U.S. Judge Matthew Kacsmaryk’s preliminary ruling found that the Federal Drug Administration (FDA) did not follow proper testing and safety protocols when it approved the abortion drug in 2000. The judge allowed the FDA seven days to appeal his decision, which means the drug will still be available for the time being.
Almost immediately after Kacmaryk issued his decision, a judge in Washington state issued a ruling that the FDA should continue to allow the abortion drug to be prescribed, setting up a possible showdown in the U.S. Supreme Court, the New York Times reported.
(Increasingly it appears the FDA honours public safety more in the breach than the upholding.
