According to reports, the proposal comes with the condition for digital ID data collection. Trudeau is trying to blackmail to get Canadians to sign up for Digital ID

4. Macron government threatens to crush media rival CNews, known for airing conservative views, by revoking its broadcast license

The French government could cancel an entire television news network — one known for sharing conservative viewpoints — and put it in the hands of a Macron loyalist.

If things go the French government’s way, in two years’ time, the CNews and C8 networks could be taken over by an oligarch who happens to be a loyalist of President Emmanuel Macron, resulting in the end of right-wing conservative opposition voices on French television.

CNews is where journalist and essayist Éric Zemmour was allowed to express his views after he was banned from several French mainstream media outlets in 2019. The network has been a major target of the extreme left and many in Macron’s government. The TV channel was watched by only 2.1 percent of French viewers at the end of 2022, which is much less than the much more politically correct news channel BFM TV, which features 3.3 percent of viewers. Apparently, for the French government, this is still too many viewers who are sometimes allowed to hear right-wing, conservative views thanks to CNews’ pluralistic approach to information and commentaries. Now, Culture Minister Rima Abdul Malak, a French-Lebanese binational, is threatening that CNews’ license to broadcast on France’s digital terrestrial television network might not be renewed after it expires in 2025.

5. Rasmus Paludan pays tribute to a true Danish Hero

Thank you all for staying tuned. Last night’s Tucker was annoying. Not because the content was bad, but because of unusually bad analysis of the events he covered. Hopefully we will have time to post it with an overview. Fridays I think he tries to keep the show light. So that is probably why. Meanwhile, it seems that the Dominion voting machines could have been hacked and the election stolen in the way first accused.

Dominion Voting Systems is in big trouble after the filing by FOX News in its case with Dominion yesterday.  FOX News uncovered through its discovery in the case that Dominion’s own employees expressed serious concerns about the security of its machines.

Dominion Voting Systems sued FOX News for $1.6 billion in a defamation lawsuit in March 2021.  The AP reported on the suit in a very nasty and biased report.

The AP shared:

Dominion Voting Systems filed a $1.6 billion defamation lawsuit against Fox News on Friday, arguing the cable news giant falsely claimed in an effort to boost faltering ratings that the voting company had rigged the 2020 election.

The AP included numerous falsities and biases in its report, so much so that it looked like it was written by Dominion.

This short sketch by Bill Burr may explain a thing or two. Hard to know where to laugh though
