The Department of Justice is trying to prevent disclosure of 400 pages of sensitive documents on Hunter and Jim Biden’s dealings with China, Russia and Ukraine – by pretending they don’t exist.
Colorado lawyer Kevin Evans sued the department in March after it failed to comply with his request for records on the Bidens’ dealings under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).
Evans, a FOIA expert, asked for documents pertaining to ‘any relationship, communication, gift(s), and/or remuneration in any form’ between the president’s son Hunter or brother Jim, and China, Russia or Ukraine. […]
The 400 pages are not the only cache of Biden records being sought from the government.
The National Archives and Records Administration is preparing to release hundreds of Obama White House internal documents containing information about Hunter’s relationship with controversial Ukrainian gas company Burisma, Business Insider reported this month.
Joe Biden was vice president at the time, with responsibility for relations with Ukraine. His son was serving on the board of Burisma, getting paid $83,000 per month.
(I would really like to know more about the secret dealings with Russia, personally. At this point anyone who is paying attention understands the relationship between the Democrat party and Ukraine.
4. Illinois Health System Settles Lawsuit over Vaccine Mandate
The NorthShore University Health System in Illinois recently signed a $10.3 million settlement to end a lawsuit over its COVID-19 vaccine requirement. Employees brought a class-action lawsuit after they were denied a religious exemption to the system’s vaccine policy.
NorthShore said 523 employees requested and were denied religious exemptions and accommodations to its policy requiring COVID-19 vaccination between July 1, 2021, and Jan. 1, 2022. About half of them became compliant with the vaccine policy, and about half were fired or resigned based on their religious objection to receiving a COVID-19 vaccine, according to the settlement.
First Class-Action Lawsuit for Health Care Workers
The settlement represents the nation’s first class-action lawsuit for health care workers over a COVID-19 vaccine mandate, according to Liberty Counsel, which filed the lawsuit on behalf of 14 employees who were denied a religious exemption. The settlement still needs approval from a federal judge.
5. German doctor jailed for illegally issuing mask exemptions

BERLIN (AP) — A German doctor was sentenced late Monday to two years and nine months in prison for illegally issuing more than 4,000 people with exemptions from wearing masks during the coronavirus pandemic.
A regional court in the southwestern town of Weinheim confirmed Tuesday that the doctor was convicted of “issuing incorrect health certificates” to people from across Germany, most of whom she had never met or examined.
In addition to the prison sentence she was handed a three-year work ban and ordered to pay 28,000 euros ($29,550), the sum she had received for issuing the medical certificates. Her office assistant was fined 2,700 euros.
“The process is more reminiscent of a sale of certificates than a medical procedure,” the court said in a statement. It noted that she was not faulted for providing certificates to her existing patients.
During the trial the defendant had argued that wearing masks was harmful to people’s health.
The doctor’s lawyer intends to appeal the verdict, public broadcaster SWR reported.
Dozens of supporters gathered outside the court in Weinheim, north of Heidelberg, to protest against the verdict and Germany’s pandemic restrictions.
(So it is official. At least in Germany, a doctor is jailed for practicing real medicine and science as she sees it, as opposed to obeying unscientific government diktats. Take note. This is a milestone in the trip to Authoritarian Marxist-Maoist communism)
