Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

  1. 22 min on the USD-denominated time bomb set to explode in 2023. $100 trillion in shadow bank paper, with 80% to be settled next year, means a possible astronomical demand for USD. However the recession will cause low money velocity, so dollars will be even harder to get. The result can be massive insolvencies, huge temporary drops in precious metals, and whatever else a dollar shortage can bring.

  2. Understanding our chaos is like looking for something in a very cluttered apartment. As you search for your slinky toy that you’re SURE was under the right side of your desk, you find that cool Hot Wheels car that you lost forty years ago. You keep going and are distracted again when you find your commemorative 1972 Canada-Russia hockey series puck. Before you know it you’ve forgotten what you were looking for in the first place.

Here, Rafi supports some of what I’ve posted above, but not necessarily the possible huge rise in the USD to settle derivatives. Now, what was I looking for, again?

A teenager has been stabbed to death and her best friend left injured by a knifeman who ran at them from an asylum shelter during their walk to school in Germany.
Emergency services raced to the town of Illerkirchberg on Monday where they found the two schoolgirls – aged 14 and 13 – seriously injured.
Police in the south-western city of Ulm – near Stuttgart and Munich – said paramedics resuscitated the older girl , named as Ece S., before she was taken to hospital after the attack, which happened at about 7.30am.
‘Despite all efforts by the doctors she died there,’ police said in a statement.
The younger girl, named as Nerea M., remains in hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries, they added. Both victims had German citizenship.
A 27-year-old man was arrested inside a refugee shelter near the scene of the attack. The man, who was found with injuries and a knife, is of Eritrean origin, police said.
Two other men were also detained.
According to German newspaper Bild, the girls were walking through Illerkirchberg, home to around 4,700 people, to catch their bus to their secondary school in Ulm – which is around five miles to the north.
Their route to the bus stop took them a short distance past the asylum shelter, and they were attacked at around 7.30am.

Canada -what has happened to OUR oil and gas industry?

OUR healthcare – – unvaccinated doctors and nurses not allowed in hospitals. If you die from the safe and effective vaccine, the government will pay for your funeral.

Promotes tolerance for transgender – questions if we should “tolerate” unvaccinated.

Pfizer is betting big on Europe with an investment of more than $2.5 billion as it hopes to introduce as many as 19 new medicines over the next 18 months.

      • Pfizer boss refuses to testify to EU Parliament COVID panel — again

‘We have no further information to share,’ says Albert Bourla, who bailed out of an earlier appointment in October.

Pfizer Chief Executive Officer Albert Bourla has once again declined to testify before the European Parliament’s special COVID committee.

        That’s strike two.

“Since the October COVID hearing, we have no further information to share with the Committee, so respectfully decline the invitation to again revisit these issues,” states the letter from Bourla dated December 2 and seen by POLITICO.

Bourla previously pulled out of an appointment to testify before the committee in October, at which he was expected to face tough questions on how secretive vaccine deals were struck. That decision followed an audit report into the EU’s vaccine procurement strategy that raised new questions about contact between the pharma CEO and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen that preceded a multibillion-euro vaccine contract.

On October 14, the European Public Prosecutor’s Office confirmed it had an ongoing investigation into the EU’s COVID vaccine purchases, but has not yet specified who is being investigated or which of the EU’s vaccine contracts are under scrutiny.

At the October 10 COVI hearing, the company’s president of international developed markets, Janine Small, faced repeated questions from the committee on Bourla’s absence, one of which was even taped to some MEPs’ laptops. She also took questions on vaccine contract negotiations and the jabs themselves, including one from Dutch MEP Robert Roos (ECR group) about whether the vaccine was tested for its ability to prevent transmission before entering the market. That question — and Small’s answer — landed Roos an appearance on Tucker Carlson’s Fox News talk show.

But, in the end, it seems Small was just no substitute for Bourla.

So, on October 28, the COVID committee extended a second invitation to the CEO.

“Our committee felt that during the previous hearing with representatives of the pharmaceutical industry, where Pfizer was represented by Mrs. Janine Small, important questions regarding the advanced purchase agreements between the European Union and Pfizer, which fall under the responsibility of the CEO and of which only he has the authority to respond to them, remained unanswered,” COVID committee chair Kathleen Van Brempt (S&D group) said in a statement today.

“As chair of the COVI committee, I deeply regret Dr. Bourla’s refusal to discuss this matter with the Members of the European Parliament,” she said. “As a co-legislator of the European budget, the Parliament has the right to obtain full transparency on the modalities of these expenditures and the preliminary negotiations leading up to them.”

But for Pfizer, it seems there’s just nothing new to say.

“Pfizer has provided input to the Special Committee on the COVID-19 Pandemic, and the wider European Parliament, as it seeks to understand and learn from the pandemic response,” a company spokesperson told POLITICO.

Pfizer CEO again refuses hearing at Eurochamber on vaccines – European Parliament

BRUSSELS – Pfizer CEO, Albert Bourla, has refused for the second time in a row to appear before the European Parliament for a hearing on the negotiations carried out with the EU Commission for the supply of vaccines.

The president of the Eurochamber’s special commission on Covid, Kathleen Van Brempt (S&D), reports this via Twitter. “The European Parliament has the right to obtain full transparency” on contracts and “the failure of the EU Commission and Pfizer” to give answers “shows a lack of interest in the role of the EP and casts an unnecessary shadow on the success of the European vaccine strategy “, highlights the MEP.

“Compared to the hearing in October we have no further information to share so I respectfully decline the invitation”. The CEO of Pfizer writes it, Albert Bourla, in a letter addressed to the president of the European Parliament’s special commission on Covid, Kathleen Van Brempt (S&D), formalizing her refusal to appear before MEPs.

“A few weeks ago, our president for international markets, Janine Small, already testified before your committee,” Bourla underlined, referring to the October session. On that occasion, however, unlike Gilead Sciences, Sanofi, AstraZeneca and Moderna, all represented by their respective CEOs, Pfizer was the only company to send an executive.

Canadian Auditor General Karen Hogan is expected to release two highly anticipated reports on how the federal government handled the COVID-19 crisis in 2021, including access to vaccines, procurement and pandemic benefits.

Her first report will detail how well the government did at getting a hold of COVID-19 vaccine doses and tracking how many received them.

Ottawa made headlines over concerns the rollout of provincial vaccine campaigns may be jeopardized by delayed shipments of the sought-after vaccines.

The report is expected to show whether the Canada Revenue Agency and Employment and Social Development Canada made sure payments were accurate and paid to eligible applicants, as well as whether efforts were made to recuperate overpayments.

Joe Biden’s “National Security Adviser” and Russiagate conspirator Jake Sullivan visited Brasilía Monday and invited the convicted criminal, Communist, and purported election fraudster Lula da Silva to visit Washington. Indigenous tribes found the fake President-Elect’s hotel and made “the ground tremble” with their protest
National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan traveled to Brasilia, Brazil on Monday, December 5 for meetings with senior representatives of the Brazilian government and members of the incoming administration of President-elect Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva. Sullivan was accompanied by senior officials from the National Security Council and State Department.”, the White House reports. “During the meeting, Mr. Sullivan extended an invitation on behalf of President Biden for President-elect Lula to visit Washington.” Lula da Silva is a convicted criminal who should be ineligible to become President, which the corrupt Supreme Court full of his own nominees vacated, while ignoring all reports of election fraud to install their puppet. So of course he gets to visit Joe Biden. They have a lot in common.

However, the Biden regime may be disappointed. As Gateway Pundit reported, the Army continues to mobilize, with sources confirming the military will act this week to stop the steal and protect Brazil’s democracy. Hundreds of thousands of Brazilians continue to protest and urge the Army to intervene.

In Brasilía, indigenous tribes who occupied the airport and a mall on the weekend, found the hotel where “Lula the Thief” is staying and converged on the hotel, “making the ground tremble”, reports Journal de Cidade: “Indigenous people of the Xavante, Enawene Nawe and Kaiapó tribes protested outside the hotel, chanting that Lula would never become president. The Indians once protected by the left now turn against those who bewitched them.”

Lula’s security team were forced to beef up security around the hotel where the “president-elect” is staying , O Antagonista reports, and barriers were installed to keep away the protestors. The Democrat-led movement to lower the legal voting age to 16 — or in some cases even younger — is gaining momentum nationwide, scoring local victories while winning the support of lawmakers and activists on the political left.

The campaign’s latest win came in Boston, where the City Council on Wednesday approved a petition allowing 16- and 17-year-old residents to vote in municipal elections.

  10. It Begins: Judge Rules Georgia County Can Accept Absentee Ballots 3 Days After Election

    Published December 6, 2022 at 10:15am

Today is election day in the Peach State, but don’t expect to find out the results today.

A Georgia Superior Court Judge recently ordered Cobb County to extend its deadline for accepting absentee ballots to December 9th which is three days after voters hit the polls.

The decision comes after a lawsuit made its way to court claiming Georgia voter’s constitutional rights were violated when Cobb County residents, who had applied to receive absentee ballots, never received them.

The plaintiffs in the suit were the ACLU and the Southern Poverty Law Center and it specifically stated voters who filed to receive absentee ballots on November 26th had yet to receive them.

Under the new ruling, absentee ballots can be still counted up to 7 pm on December 9th.

Judge Kellie Hill wrote in her decision “A delay in sending absentee ballots to voters who timely requested them may infringe upon Plaintiffs’ right to vote under the Georgia Constitution.”

  11. BREAKING EXCLUSIVE: Big Tech Censorship Is the Largest Campaign Finance Violation in History Costing Americans Billions
    By Joe Hoft
    Published December 6, 2022 at 10:00am

Big Tech censorship is the largest campaign finance violation ever and the cost to Americans is in the billions.

Engineer and data expert, Chris Gleason has been reaching out to Florida politicians since early 2021 to get them to look a the real cost of Facebook and Twitter’s actions of censoring and de-platforming conservative websites. He’s received little to no response to date.

With the information released by Twitter this past weekend, the cost of Twitter’s actions related to US politics is now very relevant.

In a letter to the top government officials in Florida this weekend, Gleason said in part:

Perhaps, now in light of Elon Musk confirming the information that I have presented to you several times now, someone within the state of Florida and their “Election Crimes Division” will take some action. At some point surely someone in Florida government will honor their oath of office…How many felonies must I personally bring to your attention before you take definitive action? I have brought to you the largest cases of campaign finance violations in the United States and Florida history.

Gleason is referring to his emails from as early as January of 2021 when he shared with the Florida leadership team about the costs of Big Tech meddling in US Elections. Gleason shared in a February 2021 email his concerns about the egregious violations of both Federal and State campaign finance laws by BigTech:

I am particularly concerned about the violations by Facebook, Twitter, Google and the C Suite executives at these companies. The concerns that I have currently if not immediately and properly addressed will affect political candidates who are not preferred by BigTech to ever win another election again

Prior to the 2018 midterm elections Facebook, Twitter, Google and Patreon conspired to deplatform accounts, pages and groups that supported the opponents of their preferred candidates. These actions were taken while claiming to protect the integrity of the election from inauthentic activity by bad actors such as Russian bot farms, and fake news websites that monetize content through advertising. At the time I had an extensive presence across numerous social media platforms with millions of fans/followers and over 100 million weekly post views. Since my deplatforming in the weeks leading up to the 2018 midterm elections I have been desperately trying to bring attention to these serious crimes being committed by these Big Tech executives

Americans see what is going on. They ultimately trust their instincts.

This is sad news for the “election denier deniers.” After all their work to try and cover up the 2020 Election steal, they have failed miserably. They never counted mass appeal of President Trump and because of this, they never were able to convince Americans that Joe Biden legitimately won the 2020 Election.

    Advertisement – story

majority of Republican voters still believe that the 2020 Election was stolen from President Trump.

Joy Overbeck put together an excellent piece at Townhall yesterday where she laid this out.

Despite the corrupt anti-American mainstream media pushing that Joe Biden legitimately won the 2020 Election and the efforts of many so-called conservative media doing the same, the American people aren’t buying it.

  14. Third Russian Airbase Set Ablaze By Drone Strike As Ukraine Extends War Across Border
    Tyler Durden’s Photo
    TUESDAY, DEC 06, 2022 – 07:50 AM
Overnight into Tuesday a third airfield deep inside Russia came under attack, suffering a fire after an oil storage depot was bombarded by what the Kremlin described as a drone attack that was repelled after the initial blast. A large blaze raged throughout the night as emergency crews responded.

It came the day after two explosions rocked a pair of air bases even further inside Russian territory, which killed three military personnel in the Ryazan region, and Russian Engels-1 airbase in Saratov. Those incidents were also subsequently described by the defense ministry as the result of drone attacks.

The Russian city of Kursk, which lies closer to Ukraine than the other two sites of attack, had thick black smoke rising over its airfield in the early Tuesday hours. “Oil tankers at a base near the city of Kursk, around 60 miles from the border, were on fire and streaming smoke into the sky early Tuesday morning,” The Daily Mail writes based on regional sources.

  15. Europe Can’t Count On US Shale To Make Up For Russian Crude
    Tyler Durden’s Photo
    TUESDAY, DEC 06, 2022 – 11:23 AM
    By Irina Slav of

OPEC+ yesterday decided to leave its production quotas where they are, at 2 million bpd lower than they were in October, which is an effective cut of 1 million bpd of production. Three days earlier, the European Union reached an agreement to set a price cap on Russian crude oil at $60 per barrel—lower than market prices but not as low as some EU members, such as Poland and Estonia, would have liked the cap to be.

Russia responded by reiterating that it will not sell oil to countries enforcing a price cap. According to Reuters, a decree to that effect is already being prepared.

Amid all this, U.S. oil production growth is slowing down. The shale revolution, as we knew it until a few years ago, is no longer in full-growth mode. And it may never return to it.

On the face of it, all looks good. U.S. output has rebounded from a low of 9.7 million bpd, which was recorded in May 2020, to 12.3 million bpd this September, Reuters’ John Kemp wrote last week, noting that this year’s high was still below the pre-pandemic record of 13 million bpd, hit in late 2019.

What’s more, oil production in the country was not rising steadily. For two of the last seven months, it has actually declined, according to EIA data. And the rate of growth when it grew was half the growth rate recorded during the boom years in U.S. shale.

There are numerous reasons for this slowdown, driven, like output growth, by the shale patch. In many parts of the patch, for instance, drillers are running out of so-called sweet spots—low-cost acreage that has driven much of the shale boom.

Yet oil companies are also rearranging their priorities under an administration that is much less favorable to their industry than previous ones. Returning cash to shareholders has become priority number one, replacing production growth.

  16. Saving the Environment from Environmentalists
    Steven F. Hayward

Can we protect the planet without kneecapping the economy?
To any sensible person, contemporary environmentalism is so off-putting, misanthropic, left-ideological, know-nothing, anti-scientific, economically ignorant, and fiscally wasteful that any proposal for a “conservative environmentalism” sounds beyond oxymoronic. But perhaps we ought to borrow and apply the underlying wisdom of an old joke: the problem with socialism is socialism, while the problem with capitalism is capitalists. Likewise, the problem with environmentalism is environmentalists.

  17. Democrat Voter Fraud: A Brief History
    By J.R. Dunn
This is a “brief history” because the complete history of Democrat electoral malfeasance reaching back to Tammany Hall and Tweed would require four volumes or more. (I’m running into the same problem with a new book I’m outlining analyzing the Democrats as a criminal organization, much like the Mafia or the Camorra.)

So a brief history it is, limited to the past thirty years or so. Believe you me, there’s no lack of cases even in that short span.

    The Dinkins Magic Voting Machines

Just days before voting in the 1993 David Dinkins/Rudolf Giuliani election, the New York Times reported that a number of voting machines had been found in a closed Manhattan school. All the machines were loaded with votes for Democrat incumbent David Dinkins.

Voting proceeded without the help of those machines, and of course Rudy was elected. But that was the end of it. As far as I’ve been able to learn, there was no investigation, no inquiries, or, for that matter, any further reportage on it. A Democrat attempt to steal the NYC mayoral election was flushed down the memory hole.

The last Arab and African side left in World Cup, Morocco has been willed on by some of the most impassioned fans at the tournament.
But Morocco’s matches have also been testing for organisers. There was pushing and shoving outside the stadium as ticketless fans gathered ahead of its Dec. 1 defeat of Canada, with some trying to climb the fence.

President Trump is under constant attack from the media, Big Tech, the Democrats, foreign nations, and the leadership of the GOP. Despite this, he charges forward sharing the truth about the 2020 Election steal and the catastrophe of the Biden administration.

As a result, the GOP and a super-majority of Trump-backed candidates won back the US House in the 2022 election.

Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell (Ky.) on Tuesday poured cold water on Democratic efforts to add language allowing banks to do business with state-approved marijuana businesses and permitting reform, a priority of Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.), to the annual defense authorization bill.

McConnell called on Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) and Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) to strip the pot-related language and Manchin’s permitting reform proposal, which he dismissed as reform “in name only,” from the defense bill

  23. Trump Organization Found Guilty in New York Kangaroo Court for Not Taxing Some Fringe Benefits While Crime in the City Explodes
    By Joe Hoft
    Published December 6, 2022 at 3:30pm

The size of corruption in America has reached epic proportions. In New York its reached intergalactic proportions as the crooks are running the justice department.

A jury in New York has found:

The jury has found Donald Trump’s real-estate company criminally liable for its executives’ tax fraud.
To acquit, jurors needed to believe that Trump’s two top financial executives testified truthfully.
The Trump Org. faces up to $1.6 million in penalties — and felony status.
A New York jury found the Trump Organization guilty on all counts of criminal tax fraud.

The deliberations followed a monthlong trial that featured testimony from seven witnesses, including longtime Trump Organization finance chief Allen Weisselberg and Senior Vice President and Controller Jeffrey McConney. An outside accountant who spent years preparing tax returns for Trump and the company also testified.

About 40 minutes into deliberations, jurors sent a note asking the judge to reread the elements of one of the charges, conspiracy to defraud in the fourth degree. Judge Juan Manuel Merchan obliged.

Weisselberg, who pleaded guilty to dodging taxes on $1.7 million in extras, testified that he and McConney conspired to hide extras from his income by deducting their cost from his pre-tax salary and issuing falsified W-2 forms.

Prosecutors charged the Trump Organization in the form of two subsidiaries, Trump Corporation and Trump Payroll Corporation. Trump Corporation is charged with nine counts. Trump Payroll Corporation is charged with eight.

These charges would never have taken place if they hadn’t involved President Trump.

President Trump moved to Florida a few years ago after having enough of the corrupt actors running the state and city.

Just like the recent We Build the Wall case held in New York, there was no way that the President and his companies were going to go unscathed in a corrupt New York courtroom.

President Trump is not charged. The Trump Organization case is the only trial to arise from the Manhattan district attorney’s office’s three-year investigation of Trump and his business practices.

President Trump responded to the Kangaroo Court in a Truth this afternoon:

Murder and Violent Crime is at an all time high in NYC, and the D.A.’s office has spent almost all of its time & money fighting a political Witch Hunt for D.C. against “Trump” over Fringe Benefits, something that in the history of our Country, has never been so tried in Court before. Two weeks at trial, yet no MURDER CASE has gone to trial in 6 years, much to the consternation of victims mothers and families who are devastated that NOTHING is being done to bring JUSTICE. Too busy on “Donald.”

Former US Senator Kelly Loeffler took to Twitter and warned there are armed Black Panthers patrolling voting stations across Georgia.

Loeffler was quoted saying “1 hour into voting, & armed groups of Black Panthers are now reportedly patrolling certain voting locations in GA.”

She would follow up her statement by saying the presence of Black Panthers near polling stations is part of a “scare tactic” from the left

Fox 5 News, reported the New Black Panther Party held a press conference the day before the Senate run-off and announced: “they will position armed patrols at several polling places in the Atlanta and Savannah areas

Khallida Ramla Bastet said at a press conference Monday, “No one will come and touch, harm, threaten, do anything to any person walking into that voting booth to exercise that right,”.

Bastet would continue “This is a legal position that we are taking. We are in a position where if anything happens to anyone, we are here to offer you legal representation. We are here to offer you security

The Black Panthers and other armed groups are suspected to patrol Brunswick, Atlanta, and Savannah between 7:00 AM-11:00 PM.

The new Black Panther Party has a large presence in the state of Georgia.

In 2021, hundreds of Black Panthers showed up in the state of Georgia during the Ahmaud Arbery murder trial in Brunswick, Georgia.

This is not the first time intimidation tactics have been used during an election by the Black Panthers.

Iranian War Ship ‘Attempts To Blind’ US Missile Destroyer

An Iranian Navy patrol boat “attempted to blind” a U.S. guided-missile destroyer vessel in international waters late Monday and then conducted maneuvers that almost caused a collision between the warships, according to U.S. Central Command.

The Iranian patrol boat, which CENTCOM said was controlled by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), conducted the “unsafe and unprofessional” maneuvers in a bid to harass American war ships operating in the region. Iran routinely stalks American war vessels in the region and has come close several times to initiating a conflict. The IRGC, Iran’s paramilitary fighting force, also has threatened repeatedly to attack and destroy American ships operating in international waters near Iran.

This dangerous action in international waters is indicative of Iran’s destabilizing activity across the Middle East,” Col. Joe Buccino, a CENTCOM spokesman, said in a statement explaining the incident.

Iran’s navy has spent great resources updating and building out its lethal capabilities amid an ongoing threat to initiate conflict with U.S. or other Western forces stationed in the region. Iranian military leaders, for instance, announced on Tuesday that their navy forces possess missiles with a range of up to 1,000 kilometers, putting them well within distance of U.S. and Israeli military assets.

Monday’s incident highlights the ongoing threat posed by Iranian forces.

Twitter’s former top attorney James Baker was formerly an FBI attorney who passed on fake dirt from the Hillary campaign’s operatives in 2016, alleging a secret online portal from Russia’s Alfa Bank to Trump.

Now attempted to shape the “Twitter Files.”

    twitter @mtaibbi

The news that Baker was reviewing the “Twitter files” surprised everyone involved, to say the least. New Twitter chief Elon Musk acted quickly to “exit” Baker Tuesday.

DAILY MAIL – Elon FIRES Twitter’s general counsel James Baker for ‘vetting internal files on Hunter Biden laptop scandal and DELAYING release of second tranche’ – ex-FBI lawyer was James Comey’s deputy and involved in Russian collusion investigation

Elon Musk fired Twitter General Counsel Jim Baker on Tuesday

Accused Baker of ‘suppression of information important to the public dialogue’

Journalist Matt Taibbi claimed Baker ‘vetted’ Twitter Files before Friday’s release

Documents related to the 2020 censorship of the Hunter Biden laptop scandal

Taibbi claimed Baker delayed the release of a second tranche of internal files

Journalist Bari Weiss will soon publish the second batch of files, Taibbi said

Chief Twit Elon Musk has fired Twitter’s general counsel James A. Baker, citing his alleged involvement in the suppressing the release of internal documents regarding Twitter’s censorship of the Hunter Biden laptop scandal.

‘In light of concerns about Baker’s possible role in suppression of information important to the public dialogue, he was exited from Twitter today,’ Musk wrote in a tweet on Tuesday.

Musk added that Baker’s explanation of the events surrounding the laptop saga were ‘unconvincing.’

Journalist Matt Taibbi, who released the first batch of internal files about the Hunter saga on Friday, claimed that Baker had been fired in part for ‘vetting the first batch of “Twitter Files” – without knowledge of new management.’

Also on Tuesday, Rep. James Comer, a Kentucky Republican, sent Baker a letter requesting his appearance before the House Oversight Committee next year, when the GOP is set to take control of the House.

Before joining Twitter, Baker was former FBI general counsel under Director James Comey, and played a key role in the saga surrounding the Bureau’s controversial probe into possible collusion between Russia and Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign.

Baker’s departure from Twitter follows the publication last week of internal documents showing him and other executives discussing the company’s October 2020 ban on a news report about Hunter’s foreign business deals, based on emails from his abandoned laptop.

On Friday, Taibbi published the batch of internal documents, calling them the ‘Twitter Files,’ which included an exchange between Baker and former VP of Global Comms Brandon Borrman.

Borrman asks, regarding banning an article about Hunter Biden under Twitter’s ‘hacked materials’ policy: ‘Can we truthfully claim that this is part of the policy?’

Baker responded, appearing to argue in favor of maintaining the ban, because ‘caution is warranted’.

In a new Twitter thread on Tuesday, Taibbi alleged that Baker had been fired after he was discovered ‘vetting’ the internal documents before their release, and delaying the release of a second tranche of files to Taibbi and another journalist, Bari Weiss.

Taibbi wrote that ‘new management,’ meaning Musk, was not aware of Baker’s role in reviewing the files before their release.

    Developing story, more to follow.

    THREAD: Twitter Files Supplemental

On Friday, the first installment of the Twitter files was published here. We expected to publish more over the weekend. Many wondered why there was a delay.

We can now tell you part of the reason why. On Tuesday, Twitter Deputy General Counsel (and former FBI General Counsel) Jim Baker was fired. Among the reasons? Vetting the first batch of “Twitter Files” – without knowledge of new management.

The process for producing the “Twitter Files” involved delivery to two journalists (Bari Weiss and me) via a lawyer close to new management. However, after the initial batch, things became complicated.

Over the weekend, while we both dealt with obstacles to new searches, it was
@BariWeiss who discovered that the person in charge of releasing the files was someone named Jim. When she called to ask “Jim’s” last name, the answer came back: “Jim Baker.”

“My jaw hit the floor,” says Weiss.

The first batch of files both reporters received was marked, “Spectra Baker Emails.”

Baker is a controversial figure. He has been something of a Zelig of FBI controversies dating back to 2016, from the Steele Dossier to the Alfa-Server mess. He resigned in 2018 after an investigation into leaks to the press.

The news that Baker was reviewing the “Twitter files” surprised everyone involved, to say the least. New Twitter chief Elon Musk acted quickly to “exit” Baker Tuesday.

Reporters resumed searches through Twitter Files material – a lot of it – today. The next installment of “The Twitter Files” will appear
    @bariweiss . Stay tuned.

It’s a bit difficult to maintain the US Security State had no role in Twitter’s censorship regime when *the General Counsel of the FBI* – centrally involved in Russiagate and all sorts of politicized abuses – ended up as Twitter’s Deputy General Counsel, with paws in everything.

    Barely a month ago, @lhfang and @kenklippenstein
published a batch of previously secret documents proving how centrally involved DHS is in Big Tech’s censorship schemes. @yoyoel admitted he met with them and FBI weekly. None of this it in doubt.

Whenever Congress seeks to limit Big Tech’s monopoly and censorship powers, all the same US Security State goons who spread the “Russian disinformation” lie about the Biden docs vocally object, because online censorship is one of their key weapons:

By now, the evidence is overwhelming that the US Security State is heavily involved in pressuring Big Tech to censor.

Zuckerberg said this. Twitter execs admitted it. Tons of documents prove it. Only liberal journalists and Dem functionaries try to put this in doubt.
