Reader’s Links for October 8th, 2022

Here is a link to the VladTepesBlog social media Mastodon Pod. Please feel free to check it out and sign up for an account if you are sufficiently annoyed with Twitter and Facebook to try something new.

Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

  1. Florida Reports Link Between mRNA Vax And Heart Failure

    Key Points
Dr. Joseph A. Ladapo, Florida’s Surgeon General, has recommended that males ages 18-39 not take mRNA COVID-19 vaccines because of the risk of severe, potentially fatal, heart problems.
The Florida Department of Health conducted its own analysis of the mRNA vaccines and found there is an 84 percent increase in the relative incidence of cardiac-related death among males 18-39 years old within 28 days following vaccination.
The state DOH said that the benefit of vaccination is likely outweighed by this abnormally high risk of cardiac-related death among men in this age group. It added that non-mRNA vaccines didn’t present the same risks of heart disease.
Ladapo: “Studying the safety and efficacy of any medications, including vaccines, is an important component of public health. Far less attention has been paid to safety and the concerns of many individuals have been dismissed – these are important findings that should be communicated to Floridians.”

Orwell would be proud. In a quiet news, deliberately buried in the Friday evening news cycle, Biden released an Executive Order with dramatic implications for how signals intelligence is collected on individuals throughout the world.

Specifically, Biden’s directive repeals restrictions on the use of signals intelligence collection (read: spying on you) implemented since the Obama Administration

The Executive Order of October 7, 2022 (Enhancing Safeguards for United States Signals Intelligence Activities), establishes enhanced safeguards for United States signals intelligence activities that supersede the safeguards for personal information collected through signals intelligence established by Presidential Policy Directive 28 of January 17, 2014 (Signals Intelligence Activities) (PPD-28). 3. 16 minutes on pressures being exerted on Fed Chairman Powell by United Nations economists. They want him to attack inflation not by raising interest rates, which was long known to be an untenable route because of the amount of debt in the system, but by raising taxes on the productive class and imposing price controls. Such action is not only a lingering stain everywhere it’s been tried, but a pure central-planning, Soviet-style mentality.

  4. KHARKIV, Ukraine (AP) — An explosion caused the partial collapse of a bridge linking the Crimean Peninsula with Russia on Saturday, damaging a key supply artery for the Kremlin’s faltering war effort in southern Ukraine. Three people were killed in the blast, Russian authorities said.

The speaker of Crimea’s Kremlin-backed regional parliament immediately accused Ukraine, though Moscow didn’t apportion blame. Ukrainian officials have repeatedly threatened to strike the bridge and some lauded the attack, but Kyiv stopped short of claiming responsibility.

    • Excellent. The other night I attended a all candidates meeting for the up coming Ontario municipal elections. There was a scattering of people wearing masks, a psychologist, a journalist, 2 retire veterinarians, a school teacher…….. . At one point a retired veterinarian stood up and ranted we have 12 years left — climate change, some people smirked and made some gestures, but not one person challenged this obviously out of control lunatic. All in all it was a very unsettling night.

  5. A gay Palestinian was kidnapped and beheaded this week and his body paraded through a Palestinian neighborhood in a sickening video that underscores the danger LGBTQ people face at the hands of Islamic extremists.

Gruesome footage of Ahmad Hacham Hamdi Abu Marakhia’s body being carried through the West Bank city of Hebron and then left dismembered on a roadside went viral on social media after his death Wednesday. Palestinian Authority police have opened an investigation, according to the Jerusalem Post.

  6. Kheda violence: Eyewitness recall Congress leader Arif Sheikh leading the Muslim mob that stone-pelted the Navratri Garba event
Sheikh, who contested the civic body polls of 2021 on a Congress ticket, was identified as one of the stone pelters. An eyewitness told Republic TV that a group of men were clicking pictures of Hindu women, participating in the Garba event.

  7. ROME — A tourist toppled two antique marble busts in the Vatican collection Wednesday before being arrested by the gendarmerie.

The man, described by local media as “a middle-aged American tourist of Egyptian origin,” reportedly wanted to see Pope Francis and when he was told it was not possible threw a first bust to the ground, damaging it, followed by a second as he tried to flee the scene.

The tourist was immediately detained by museum guards and then handed over to the Vatican gendarmerie, who after a brief interrogation turned him over to Italian authorities. According to the Italian daily Corriere della Sera, the man had previously been cited for public indecency in the United States.

  8. Pakistan: Hindu man dies after he was chased away from hospital, stripped, beaten by cop and ‘thrown’ in drain

  9. The Biden Administration appears to be bracing for something big.

The U.S. just purchased $290 million in anti-radiation drugs following Putin’s recent nuclear threats.

This comes just as Biden himself allegedly warned that the United States could be on the brink of nuclear “Armageddon.”

The Department of Health and Human Services announced that it had purchased an FDA-approved drug called Nplate, which can be used to “treat blood cell injuries that accompany acute radiation syndrome in adult and pediatric patients.”

  10. PayPal Plans To Pull $2,500 From Users Accounts Who Spread ‘Misinformation’

    Key Points
A new policy update from PayPal will permit the firm to sanction users who advance purported “misinformation” or present risks to user “wellbeing.”
Among the changes are prohibitions on “the sending, posting, or publication of any messages, content, or materials” that “promote misinformation” or “present a risk to user safety or wellbeing.” Users are also barred from “the promotion of hate, violence, racial or other forms of intolerance that is discriminatory.”
Deliberations will be made at the “sole discretion” of PayPal and may subject the user to “damages” — including the removal of $2,500 “debited directly from your PayPal account.” The company’s user agreement contains a provision in which account holders acknowledge that the figure is “presently a reasonable minimum estimate of PayPal’s actual damages” due to the administrative cost of tracking violations and damage to the company’s reputation.

      • Dr. Mercola and Dr. Kory mentioned Fatigue & the Mitochondria.

I had the bug in March 2020 which lasted 3 weeks – fatigue. One year later the fatique came back and continues until I started drinking chicken bone broth last week.

The Care and Feeding of Your Mitochondria
        by Pamela Weintraub – March 27, 2019

        6. Brew up bone broth. When mitochondria are compromised, there is increased risk for autoimmune diseases, such as arthritis, which are caused, in part, by a leaky gut. Wahls says bone broth is rich in glutamine and other amino acids that are especially good for healing a leaky gut as well as other ailments. “It’s the secret to that old-fashioned chicken soup remedy,” she notes, “as long as you cook that soup broth with the chicken bones.”

        7. Take mitochondria-protective and energy-boosting micronutrients, such as Acetyl-L-carnitine, alpha-lipoic acid, coenzyme Q10, N-acetylcysteine, NADH, D-ribose, resveratrol, and magnesium aspartate.

I tried the various combos of No. 7, but it was No 6. Chicken bone broth, (minus the No.7 suggestions) that made the difference (fingers crossed).
This is the one that I have been taking for about a week. It is unsalted but it is salty. I have low BP so I don’t have a problem with that. I drink a full coffee mug once a day. It taste like roasted chicken. Delicious.

This is the one that I am using.
Each carton is equal to aprox. 2 full coffee mugs.
