Twitter and vaxx propaganda: Links 2, August 3rd, 2022

First, a few people have noticed that my Twitter account has been permanently suspended.

So while I was out walking the dog for about 25 minutes, a series of emails came in from Twitter, as if I had been back and forth with them. Very odd actually. One was a suspension for a tweet I did in response to a vaxx advocate. Frankly, I think its a troll who deliberately provokes people he/she doesn’t agree with, and then reports them when they say something they can nail them with. Twitter offered a way to fix the issue in the first email they sent:

A bunch of emails followed in very short order. First one was at 10:17 AM then another one at 10:17 and a third and a fourth all at 10:17 AM. The last one was the usual yada yada about Covid misinformation. You can see the tweet above. But frankly, right or wrong this is not how things are in a free state. You can never know what is true if you cannot discuss what is on the table from authorities and interests who benefit directly.

Lastly they sent me a notice that I had multiple accounts for abusive purposes and so Im permanently suspended from Twitter.

To be clear, I do not have multiple accounts. Just the one. So I have no idea what they are talking about. But it made it easy for them to permanently suspend me. Fair enough. What a shame though, that Donald Trump’s own social media platform is only for iPhone users. How very odd. Anyway, onwards and upwards. See you all on Mastodon!

Uruguay provides an interesting pandemic case study insofar as it’s a nation outside of the political limelight. The nation of 3.5 million sits between the far larger neighbors of Brazil and Argentina. The majority of the population lives in the international trade center and capital of Montevideo, which is the place to be if you want to hear indigenous South Americans curse in Italian, weirdly.

While I was researching for this article, a friend of mine who lives there told me that Uruguay is beautiful, and I should come visit him there. So, I searched for some pictures, and he’s not wrong.

4. Fascinating propaganda piece to try and get parents to inject very young children with the gene therapy. Watch the whole thing. Maybe leave some notes in the comments. Even the positives are for the most part what could be said of a talisman rather than a medication. “Peace of mind”? That is not a reason to take gene therapy. That is the reason to wear a St. Christopher medallion.

Comments are good at Youtube. I guess Citynews hasn’t learned to disallow comments the way CBC and the other enemy propaganda orgs do.

If there is news on the Twitter thing, I’ll post it. Not looking for any help other than advice if someone knows how to do something to defend oneself against a monster of that size.

There are rumours of a LONG overdue class action against Twitter. Might be time to look into that.
