This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

    These are all from major news outlets in the same month. There is a malicious force acting here. No, it’s not a conspiracy, it’s just some drug companies who need to discredit Vitamin D to make more money.

    No, the drug companies didn’t fund the recent trials that showed vitamin D “wasn’t that useful for most conditions”. But they sure as hell have the media wrapped around their finger to highlight when something goes badly in study, and crickets when they study doesn’t feed their narrative.

          Last night Tucker pointed out how the current leadership seems to be fomenting wars around the world. We are going to have to wait and see if they have succeeded in the far east.

      What the people who are worried about what a war with China will do to the US don’t think about is how the Chinese providing most of the US manufactured goods is how the China is dependent on our purchasing their goods. President Trump’s tariffs had the Chinese economy on the ropes. Then Covid drove it down to it’s knees, Biden/Obama are trying to help China but all they are doing is delaying the collapse.

    Among other things, the disingenuously-named “Inflation Reduction Act of 2022” would spend $369 billion on climate provisions, increase the IRS’s enforcement firepower, impose a minimum 15% corporate tax rate and reduce the prices the federal government pays for prescription drugs.

Zawahiri’s death came less than two weeks after a United Nations report confirmed the Al Qaeda leader to be alive, “communicating freely,” and consulting with the Taliban.

    Zawahiri, 71, was one of the most wanted men in the world as the deputy and then successor to Osama bin Laden.     The FBI wired up his son and sent him into their home to record his dad talking smack. The FBI used the recordings to prosecute the oil worker. The Soviet Union was also famous for turning children against their parents.

      Summary

      Background

      Children living with chronic comorbid conditions are at increased risk for severe COVID-19, though there is limited evidence regarding the risks associated with specific conditions and which children may benefit from targeted COVID-19 therapies. The objective of this study was to identify factors associated with severe disease among hospitalized children with COVID-19 in Canada.

      Methods

      We conducted a national prospective study on hospitalized children with microbiologically confirmed SARS-CoV-2 infection via the Canadian Paediatric Surveillance Program (CPSP) from April 2020–May 2021. Cases were reported voluntarily by a network of >2800 paediatricians. Hospitalizations were classified as COVID-19-related, incidental infection, or infection control/social admissions. Severe disease (among COVID-19-related hospitalizations only) was defined as disease requiring intensive care, ventilatory or hemodynamic support, select organ system complications, or death. Risk factors for severe disease were identified using multivariable Poisson regression, adjusting for age, sex, concomitant infections, and timing of hospitalization.

      Findings

      We identified 544 children hospitalized with SARS-CoV-2 infection, including 60·7% with COVID-19-related disease and 39·3% with incidental infection or infection control/social admissions. Among COVID-19-related hospitalizations (n=330), the median age was 1·9 years (IQR 0·1–13·3) and 43·0% had chronic comorbid conditions. Severe disease occurred in 29·7% of COVID-19-related hospitalizations (n=98/330 including 60 admitted to intensive care), most frequently among children aged 2-4 years (48·7%) and 12-17 years (41·3%). Comorbid conditions associated with severe disease included pre-existing technology dependence requirements (adjusted risk ratio [aRR] 2·01, 95% confidence interval [CI] 1·37-2·95), body mass index Z-scores ?3 (aRR 1·90, 95% CI 1·10-3·28), neurologic conditions (e.g. epilepsy and select chromosomal/genetic conditions) (aRR 1·84, 95% CI 1·32-2·57), and pulmonary conditions (e.g. bronchopulmonary dysplasia and uncontrolled asthma) (aRR 1·63, 95% CI 1·12-2·39).

      Interpretation

      While severe outcomes were detected at all ages and among patients with and without comorbidities, neurologic and pulmonary conditions as well as technology dependence were associated with increased risk of severe COVID-19. These findings may help guide vaccination programs and prioritize targeted COVID-19 therapies for children.

State law often lets governors declare a disaster for 30 days to expand their power. To avoid giving up those emergency powers, progressive governors just issued a new disaster declaration every 30 days, to keep their emergency powers from ending. But the whole reason for the 30-day limit was to keep governors from renewing a state of emergency indefinitely. So they should not be allowed to renew a disaster declaration over COVID.

    The Gateway Pundit reported previously about the recount proceedings in El Paso County, CO.

    The logic and accuracy testing portion of the recount began late last week but caused some concern when the 4216 “test” ballots returned a 53% adjudication (2266 out of 4216).

    me preface this article by telling all of my readers: You can use any blue or black ballpoint pen you bring to the voting booth or poll. Do not let anyone there force you or pressure you into using their pen against your wishes.

    Last week, The Gateway Pundit’s Jordan Conradson reported on a bizarre change of position by Maricopa Co Recorder Stephen Richer. On July 7th, Richer said to use “any blue or black pen” to vote in Maricopa County. Then, on July 26th, he changed his tune and pleaded with voters to use the pen provided at polling locations. Richer claims that a ball point pen takes too long to dry and can “gunk up” the machines. This unusual explanation in unique to Maricopa Co. There are no known reports of ball point ink “gumming up” the machines.

    This demand by Richer to just “use the darn pen” of course brought back traumatic memories of the 2020 steal when in-person voters were forced to use Sharpies. The Attorney General in Arizona “investigated” these claims and found them to be inaccurate.

    Maricopa County reported that the VoteSecure paper that was used in the 2020 election was resistant to bleed through. But this would also imply that VoteSecure paper was used throughout the election, as claimed under oath by Chairman Bill Gates. It was not. Not even close.

    We also found out through the audit and the work of Jovan Pulitzer that the timing marks on these ballots were misaligned. This potentially caused the bleed through on the backside to be considered a vote, therefore sending those ballots to adjudication and leaving the interpretation up to someone other than the voter.

    Fast forward to today and we have reports that the Pentel pens given by the polling locations are still causing bleed through:

    It is unknown if this bleed through will be able to impact a vote on the opposite side of the ballot as was claimed and proven in 2020.

    Remember: you can use your own pen to vote in any polling location. Changing the label on a pen and putting “official voter pen” does not make it so. Shame on Maricopa Co Recorder.

    We Minnesota pharmacist went on trial Monday after he was accused of violating a “woman’s human rights” by refusing to fill an emergency contraceptive prescription, sometimes called the morning-after pill.

    It is expected that a Minnesota jury will reach a verdict by the end of this week over the question of whether or not a woman’s human rights were violated when a pharmacist declined her request to fill a prescription.

    Two major primaries are taking place today in the states of Arizona, Missouri, Washington and Michigan. There has been a lot of focus on The Gateway Pundit today about Arizona, but Michigan has been relatively quiet. Until now.

    Yesterday, Conservative Daily had Michigan attorney Stefanie Lambert on who dropped some incredible information: 60,000 people registered on Election Day in Michigan for the 2020 election. But 22% apparently left without voting! That’s interesting that these voters felt so compelled to register that they drove to their polling place on Election Day, registered, but then elected not to vote. Maybe they were just getting ready for the 2022 primaries.

  37. A Texas lab said it assumes responsibility for entering into “poorly drafted” agreements with three Chinese maximum biocontainment labs that granted them broad authority to delete so-called “secret files,” including research data stored on U.S. servers.

    The University of Texas Medical Branch acknowledged that data destruction provisions in its contracts with three Chinese labs — including the Wuhan Institute of Virology — may have violated Texas state law in a new statement to U.S. Right to Know.

    U.S. Right to Know revealed earlier this year that Galveston National Laboratory at UTMB signed a legal agreement with the Wuhan Institute of Virology that called for any so-called “secret files” produced under their collaboration to be deleted at the request of either lab. Any and all research data resulting from the collaboration could be destroyed under the contract, experts said.

    Now UTMB has revealed that the Galveston lab drafted legal agreements with two other labs — the Harbin Veterinary Research Institute and the Institute of Medical Biology in Kunming — containing the same provision empowering each to ask the other party to destroy any files and any backup files.
