1. I know it is difficult to let it really sink in how controlled and lied to we are. Canada, like many Western nations now, is a mushroom farm. They have us all in a dark room and dump manure on us night and day. This site has dedicated itself in part to exposing MSM lies in general but especially in Canada because we have personally been at events and then seen the CBC or CTV or Global News reporting on the events, and they are pure fabricated narratives having little to nothing to do with the event itself, but everything to do with the media being a Disney bulldozer intending to push us all off a cliff and then trying to convince the survivors that those we lost had jumped.
One of the ways you know the media and the public are highly controlled is what the media chooses not to report. Also how the media will report an event which was made by authorities to appear a certain way, yet make it appear that what you see is how it was meant to be. An example of that would be the Ottawa attempt to protest at the Dutch Embassy in sympathy with the farmers recently. Police made damn sure none of the convoys could make it and then the report was of the 70 to 100 people who made it there to greet them. What would have been a major event became a nothing one. The media could sort of report on it honestly, and just omit the part about the police and various governments preventing the protest from happening, and you have a classic lie of omission.

An experienced economist has been ‘fact checked’ and corrected by Facebook after he stated that the U.S. is now in a recession.
Phil Magness, a researcher and educator with the American Institute for Economic Research, reacted to the incident by commenting “We live in an Orwellian hell-scape.”
Facebook uses ‘independent’ fact checkers at Politifact, a brazenly partisan operation, which ‘corrected’ Magness’ post about the Biden administration attempting to change the definition of a recession.
