Reader’s Links for March 8, 2022

Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

  1. Maintaining the fear component in order to maintain the mass-line narrative makes for a much richer, persuasive (hypnotic), line. $200-300 oil will get everyone’s attention. Don’t drive? Don’t matter. The knock-on effect will get you. During the truckers’ convoy they said it was almost $1000 to fill one of those bad boys with diesel. This is doubling. All shipped goods will shoot up. Bankruptcy will become even more common.

There is more physical and psychological damage to people than our leaders admit. Does U.S. diplomacy watch the price at to pump to know when to begin?

  2. No real diplomacy means no sincere want to end the war. Higher oil prices–$2-300 a barrel–will generate plenty of free-floating anxiety to replace the waning pandemic variety. (The radio man is still running government commercials for injections despite all the bad info being released in those Pfizer docs.) Is the threat of world war real or is it fear mongering? As a commodity, fear is cheap:

  3. World war 3 has been gamed out for years, all in the foreshadow of world reserve currency change. Hindsight is 20/20. Crippling the U.S. military with mRNA was intentional. Installing a mentally-crippled POTUS was intentional. Cutting the U.S. off from Canadian oil was intentional. The list is long if we look. Printing too much money was intentional…. Creating and losing WW3 appears preplanned.

Deep state U.S. has been wanting this war for years, and now it is here. Putin is crazy, but crazy smart. He may lose, still, but he sees much. Is he really one of Schwab’s “new young leaders”? Doubtful. Only the made man accepts superiors upon his arrival at the top (Dear Leader). The self-made Putin goes alone, for he sees himself equal or better than all others. It must be supposed that Schwab went on record bragging about his influence because he knew the info battle space would render any admissions lost in noise, which they have been.

I am truly sorry for the good Ukrainians, but we are all Ukrainians in war. Zelensky can save his people by demanding Ukrainian neutrality, yet does not. Choosing fatal pride is stupid when your victory does not result in your freedom.

On geopolitics. This man gets enough right:

  4. Ottawa, Ontario (Lifesitenews)

A six year old girl and an eight year old boy are among more than 2000 Canadian reports of fatal and potentially lethal heart disorders after Covid shots, according to HEALTH Canada.

Among 2,048 reports of cardiac events following Covid shots up to including FEB. 25, 2022, there were 103 reported heart attacks, 45 reports of “cardiac failure” , 41 reports of cardiac arrest, and 1857 reports of myocarditis, pericarditis, serious inflammatory conditions of the heart muscle or lining of the heart respectively.

The majority of myocarditis reports 1,178 followed the Pfizer vaccine with Pfizer-BioNTech’s Covid-19 shots, which public HEALTH officials are strongly marketing to children as young as five.

At least one 8 year old boy was among the 692 males diagnosed with myocarditis following Pfizer’s novel mRNA injection. The oldest male affected was 84 years old. The median age of males suffering heart inflammation after Covid shots was 24 years.

A 6 year old girl was among 438 reports of myocarditis following the Pfizer shots in Canadian females. The median age was 40. The sexes of 2 further case reports were listed as “other” and sex was not specified in 46 cases.

Moderna’s mRNA Spikeva vaccine (approved for ages 12 and up), resulted in 641 reported cases of myocarditis/pericarditis. The Spikevax jab, according to HEALTH Canada, poses a higher risk of disease for all ages than Pfizer’s shots.
Most cases (442) occurred in males ranging as young as 13 years old to 95, but with a median age of 27 years.
Women as young as 8 were affected with myocarditis following Spikevax, with a median age of 35.

HEALTH Canada maintains that symptoms of myocarditis “resolve quickly after seeking medical care” and many PUBLIC HEALTH statements dismiss the adverse event as mostly “mild”. There are no long-term studies of effects of vaccine-induced heart conditions, and previous studies indicate that “myocarditis mostly does sufficiently respond to symptomatic medication for heart failure and mortality is high in spite of treatment”. Active myocarditis has a 25-56% mortality rate within 3-5 years, according to a published review paper on the subject.

Data in Canada now indicates a higher number of cases in younger people (less than 40 years of age) than would be expected in this age group in the general population, states HEALTH Canada, though there is no clear instruction to vaccine administrators to warn youth of this documented danger.

HEALTH Canada told LifeSiteNews by email that “unfortunately “ no further data was available on how many Canadian children were affected by heart conditions following Covid shots.

Under the heading of Mad Scientists, I would like to ask everyone
Why are the media, healthcare workers, politicians i.e. Justine Trudeau, John Tory, Doug Ford……………STILL saying “get the vaccine”?

Why have the truckers been arrested?
When will Canadians insist the politicians should be arrested. They know the numbers, or are they still chirping “for the greater good”?

What happened to all the doctor who never spoke out about this national crime?

WHAT ARE THE REAL numbers of vaccine injuries?

    • forbes – WHO Now Encourages ‘Urgent’ Booster Shot Access For All — After Previously Opposing Them

The World Health Organization said Tuesday it supports “broad and urgent access” to Covid-19 booster shots, after previously supporting prioritizing the shots for higher-risk groups, as global vaccine supply improves and evidence shows the third shots provide significantly more protection against the omicron variant than the initial vaccine series.

The WHO’s Technical Advisory Group on Covid-19 Vaccine Composition pushed for “broad” access to both initial vaccines and booster shots in a statement Tuesday, particularly for groups at higher risk of severe illness, noting that the shots “continue to provide high levels of protection against severe disease and death” against the omicron variant.

The WHO previously called in September for a moratorium on booster shots and said in December that distributing the booster shot would “prolong” the pandemic by making vaccine inequity even worse, using vaccine doses on healthy people in wealthier countries rather than on ensuring those in less-developed nations had access to even initial doses.

The organization told Forbes it has more recently recommended booster shots prior to its Tuesday statement, though past statements recommended countries vaccinate higher-risk priority groups before offering them to lower-risk individuals.

In its statement Tuesday, the WHO acknowledged that vaccine equity “remains an important challenge,” but noted vaccine supply has “increased substantially,” at least in the near term.

The WHO also called for vaccine manufacturers to develop updated shots designed to protect against new variants as they emerge, as the vaccines have shown diminished effectiveness against preventing infections from the omicron variant and it’s likely even more new variants will emerge.

1.44 billion. That’s the number of booster shots that have been administered worldwide as of Monday, according to data compiled by Our World In Data. Booster rates vary wildly between countries still, data analyzed by Bloomberg shows: Gibraltar and Chile have 89.2% and 74.8% of their populations boosted, for instance, as compared with 2.3% in South Africa or 1.4% in India. Only 28.4% of Americans have received a booster shot, or 44.1% of those who are fully vaccinated.

The WHO also noted the increase in cases linked to a subvariant of omicron, known as BA.2, which is believed to be even more transmissible than omicron and has been spreading in countries including the United Kingdom, South Africa and Denmark. The subvariant, which made up an estimated 8.3% of all new U.S. cases as of the last week of February, has some genetic differences with the original omicron strain that could affect antibody protections against it. The WHO notes, however, that initial data suggests that getting infected with the omicron variant likely “provides substantial protection against reinfection with BA.2,” though reinfection is still possible.

The emergence of the omicron variant has made booster shots more necessary, as repeated studies have shown the extra shots provide substantial protection against infection over the initial vaccine series. A study published last week in the New England Journal of Medicine found booster shots restore the same level of protection seen right after the initial vaccine series, as two shots’ protection against infection is shown to substantially decrease over time. (Even two shots do continue to provide more protection against severe illness and death.)

Studies have suggested booster shots’ effectiveness against infection likely goes down after a few months as well, however, which has led some nations to start administering fourth shots, though there’s not yet clear evidence showing they’re effective. Booster shots’ added protection against omicron has led to more businesses and universities requiring the third shot as part of their vaccination mandates, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has said Americans are only “up to date” with their Covid-19 vaccinations if they’ve received a booster shot when eligible.—reversing-earlier-position/
global news – AP – WHO now ‘strongly supports’ broad access to COVID-19 boosters

An expert group convened by the World Health Organization said Tuesday it “strongly supports urgent and broad access” to booster doses, in a reversal of the U.N. agency’s previous insistence that boosters weren’t necessary and contributed to vaccine inequity.

In a statement, WHO said its expert group concluded that immunization with authorized COVID-19 vaccines provide high levels of protection against severe disease and death amid the global circulation of the hugely contagious Omicron variant.

It said vaccination, including the use of boosters, was especially important for people at risk of severe disease.

Last year, WHO’s director-general Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus called for a moratorium on booster doses while dozens of countries embarked on administering the doses, saying rich countries should immediately donate those vaccines to poor countries instead. WHO scientists said at the time they would continue to evaluate incoming data.

Numerous scientific studies have since proven that booster doses of authorized vaccines help restore waning immunity and protect against serious COVID-19. Booster programs in rich countries including Britain, Canada and the U.S. have been credited with preventing the surge in omicron infections from spilling over into hospitals and cemeteries.

WHO said it is continuing to monitor the global spread of omicron, including a “stealth” version known as BA.2, which has been documented to have re-infected some people after an initial case of omicron. There’s mixed research on whether it causes more severe disease, but vaccines appear just as effective against it.

WHO noted that the current authorized COVID-19 vaccines are all based on the strain that was first detected in Wuhan, China more than three years ago.

“Since then, there has been continuous and substantial virus evolution and it is likely that this evolution will continue, resulting in the emergence of new variants,” the agency said. It added that coronavirus vaccines would likely need to be updated.

Revenge Against Marines Who Say, “NO”

Admiral David D. Porter, who died in 1891, said, “A ship without Marines is like a garment without buttons.” There will be plenty of Marines missing from ships and combat in the future. Marines who were smart enough to claim religious exemptions from this experimental COVID vax and those who learned of the dangers from their families, friends and physicians/scientists resisted the “warp speed” jab for a virus whose recovery is 99.8% for healthy people under 70.

And just what happens to Marines who turn down this experimental jab? Following is a personal story a young Marine told his grandmother; she sent the following to me:

I thought you might be interested in this story:

Our grandson, who joined the Marines the day he turned 18 and whose only goal was to be a Marine, made it home from the Marines (a goal he’d been working on and hoping for since he had refused the clot shot) this week! He did get to come home for the holidays and was expecting to be discharged within a few weeks – definitely before February. But the Marines were in revenge mode.

They had “special” discharge protocols for those getting out because they wouldn’t take the shot. And, also, “special” treatment during the time he waited for the discharge. He realized it was a mind game that he had to endure.

He had to give back his uniforms (that he had purchased). He gave belts, shoes, etc. to Marines who could use them. When he handed in the uniforms, he found out they meant he had to hand in “everything,”
(remember – he had purchased them). So, they charged him and withdrew over $1700 from his account to pay them back for the items he’d given away.

Much earlier they had told him he would not get any of his 401K – not even what he put in. And, because he was in a hurry to save money, he’d been putting in a lot of every check. (Perhaps this was just a threat to make him change his mind, I don’t know how that stands as of now.)

He was made to do nothing but clean toilets for a long time. The last two days, he was made to sit in a Sgt. office but was allowed to eat and go to the toilet. (He didn’t realize how much worse it could have been because he knew nothing about the Jan 6th prisoners.)

He roomed with a “vaccinated” Marine who got Covid and was very sick for almost a week but he never got the least bit sick. He did ask superiors how they could explain that.

He did finally get out in March with a “General” discharge and he hopes to get it revised to “Honorable” because his record was impeccable.

And, he learned some valuable lessons – #1 you may not be rewarded for good behavior and #2, you may be punished for doing what’s right.

So, the military IS being weakened (physically with the shot) and thinned out with (noncompliant). Those who would not comply are being discharged, those who intended to re-up did not and some planned to join have not.

Oh, and he didn’t get his last two pay checks. It’s anyone’s guess if he’ll get them; he does not expect them.

This miscarriage of justice will unfortunately stand because our military is run by the likes of the Chief of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Mark Milley, a man who would rather consort with his communist Chinese counterparts than obey his Commander in Chief. I consider him a traitor and everyone else who is demanding these deadly injections be taken by our fighting forces, and that includes the illegitimate President Joseph Biden.

  6. PROJECT VERITAS – NYT Reporter: Jan 6 Media ‘Overreaction,’ FBI Involved; Traumatized Colleagues are “Fu*king Bit*hes”

Pulitzer Prize Winning New York Times Reporter: January 6 Media Coverage ‘Overreaction,’ FBI Involved, Event Was Not Organized Despite Ongoing Narrative

    • NYT National Security Correspondent, Matthew Rosenberg, contradicts his own January 6 reporting: “There were a ton of FBI informants among the people who attacked the Capitol.”

    • Rosenberg: “It was like, me and two other colleagues who were there [January 6] outside and we were just having fun!”
    • Rosenberg: “I know I’m supposed to be traumatized, but like, all these colleagues who were in the [Capitol] building and are like ‘Oh my God it was so scary!’ I’m like, ‘f*ck off!’”
    • Rosenberg: “I’m like come on, it’s not the kind place I can tell someone to man up but I kind of want to be like, ‘dude come on, you were not in any danger.’”
    • Rosenberg: “These f*cking little dweebs who keep going on about their trauma. Shut the f*ck up. They’re f*cking b*tches.”
    • Rosenberg: “They [media] were making too big a deal. They were making this an organized thing that it wasn’t.”
    • Rosenberg RESPONDS: “Will I stand by those comments? Absolutely.”

[NEW YORK – Mar. 8, 2022] Project Veritas published a bombshell video on Tuesday showing Pulitzer Prize winning New York Times correspondent, Matthew Rosenberg, speaking about the events of January 6, 2021, in a way that contradicts his own reporting.

Rosenberg, who covers national security matters for the Times, says on the undercover video that “there were a ton of FBI informants among the people who attacked the Capitol.”

This revelation is a break from Rosenberg’s reporting on the matter where he characterized such a notion of FBI informants in the crowd as a “reimagining of Jan. 6.”

This was not the only time Rosenberg’s commentary to Project Veritas’ undercover reporter directly contradicted his own published words. Despite telling a Veritas journalist that January 6 was “no big deal,” his article says that downplaying the events of that day was “the next big lie.”

Soundbites of Rosenberg published Tuesday show him saying, “They [media] were making too big a deal. They were making this an organized thing that it wasn’t.”

Project Veritas founder and CEO James O’Keefe revealed that Rosenberg’s article titled, “The Next Big Lies: Jan 6 was No Big Deal, or A Left-Wing Plot,” was written around the same time as he was making contradictory statements to a Project Veritas undercover reporter.

In the video, Rosenberg also revealed that January 6 was “fun,” a contradiction to his reporting that January 6 was “a violent interruption to the transition of power in American history.”

Rosenberg said, “It was like, me and two other colleagues who were there outside and we were just having fun.”

He even appears to make fun of his New York Times colleagues in one soundbite saying, “I know I’m supposed to be traumatized, but like, all these colleagues who were in the [Capitol] building, and are like, ‘Oh my God it was so scary!’ I’m like, ‘f*ck off!’” He adds, “I’m like come on, it’s not the kind place I can tell someone to man up but I kind of want to be like, ‘dude come on, you were not in any danger.’”

Rosenberg concludes, “These f*cking little dweebs who keep going on about their trauma. Shut the f*ck up. They’re f*cking b*tches.”

      3) what type of alcohol and how many (drinks) does it take to extract the truth
      4) NYT obviously set the narrative, so he accordingly populated his articles with the viewpoint and assumes thst it’s no big deal
