The protest officially begins: Trucker convoy post for January 29 2022

The Media are manipulating you by your Fear, and they are paid for it. DICTATORSHIP Wake Up

In the spirit of the new, authoritarian and Marxist-Maoist Canada, the provincial government of Nova Scotia implements a new “highway safety” bill which in fact is in truth a law that forbids actual Canadians from supporting the Trucker convoy from the East of Ontario. Classic, sneaky, deceptive lefitst modus operandi

Nova Scotia bans gatherings along highway in support of trucker freedom convoy

Nova Scotia has made it illegal to gather alongside the interprovincial highway in support of the Truckers for Freedom Convoy.

The provincial government announced the directive Friday afternoon, claiming that “allowing people to gather in those areas would put themselves and others at risk.”

Although called a “Highway Blockade Ban” on the government’s press release, and is nominally directed towards “prohibiting protesters from blockading Highway 104 near the Nova Scotia-New Brunswick border,” the ban also covers supporters of trucking convoys.

  1. CTV reports a protest today against islamaphobia and hate at 2pm. I’m told this. That must be Antifa rally then. I was sent a screen shot of CTV report.

  2. I’m told MTO has been only letting the convoy to be 100 trucks at a time, they say to allow for general travel. From someone that works with MTO, not for them. This was at Marysville overpass, think that is over 401. Yesterday.

Today, trucker rallies are being held at many locations across the country, including on Parliament Hill in Ottawa and in various communities in Saskatchewan.

Here is my message to Saskatchewan and Canadian truckers:

I listened to CBC for 3 minutes today, Russia, terrorists bullshit, one must be lower than 90 IQ to believe the tolerate this absolute nonsense.

  4. Statement by Canadian Trucking Alliance President on Ottawa Protests

Earlier this week the Canadian Trucking Alliance (CTA) issued its position on the convoy protesting the bilateral mandate introduced by the Governments of Canada and the United States that requires all essential workers, including truck drivers, to be vaccinated. The only way to cross the border, in a commercial truck or any other vehicle, is to get vaccinated. As an industry we must adapt and comply with this mandate and the vast majority have.

While a number of Canadians are in Ottawa to voice their displeasure over this mandate, it also appears that a great number of these protestors have no connection to the trucking industry and have a separate agenda beyond a disagreement over cross border vaccine requirements. As these protests unfold over the weekend, we ask the Canadian public to be aware that many of the people you see and hear in media reports do not have a connection to the trucking industry.

To those in the trucking industry that have chosen to participate in this protest regarding cross border mandates, we ask that you engage in a peaceful demonstration today then leave the City of Ottawa to avoid any issues to the welfare and safety of the citizens of Ottawa. Your behaviour today will not only reflect upon you and your family but the 300,000 plus fellow Canadians that, like you, take great pride in our industry. Please remember this important responsibility you bear today in delivering your message responsibly but also the impact your actions will have on the image of the majority of your colleagues from coast-to-coast who do not share your opinion but share your passion for the industry and country.

Over the last 24 months, CTA has and will continue to work with the Government of Canada to mitigate the impact of COVID-19 on the supply chain. This includes several health and safety measures like raising vaccine rates in our sector. CTA will continue this work to benefit our sector and, by extension, the Canadian economy. This work will begin again this Monday when the Government of Canada hosts the National Supply Chain Summit.

MSN Justin Trudeau and family move to secret location as Canada trucker protests spark security fears, report says

Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau and his family have left their home in Ottawa for a secret location, the CBC reports, amid security concerns as thousands pour into the Canadian capital on Saturday in trucker convoys to protest vaccine mandates.

The PM’s office has said it will not comment on Mr Trudeau’s location for security reasons.

The Canadian Parliament’s Sergeant-at-Arms has warned that demonstrators could show up at the homes of officials, something Mr Trudeau knows well.

In 2020, a Canadian Armed Forces member carrying a gun rammed his vehicle into the gates of Rideau Hall, where the Trudeaus live, hoping to reach the prime minister.

Mr Trudeau has condemned the growing anti-mandate movement in the country as contrary to public health and Canadian values of kindness.

“The small fringe minority of people who are on their way to Ottawa who are holding unacceptable views that they are expressing do not represent the views of Canadians who have been there for each other, who know that following the science and stepping up to protect each other is the best way to continue to ensure our freedoms, our rights, our values, as a country,” Mr Trudeau has said

  5. DAILY MAIL – Canada’s ‘Freedom Convoy’ of up to 50,000 truckers begins to arrive in Ottawa ahead of a weekend of protests against the vaccine requirements to cross the US-Canada border

A convoy of 50,000 trucks, stretching over 40 miles long, has arrived in the Canadian capital, Ottawa

The convoy set out from British Columbia on Sunday and was cheered by hundreds of Canadians as it made its 2,000-mile journey to protest vaccine mandates

Since mid January, Canada and the United States have imposed a COVID-19 vaccine mandate for foreign truck drivers crossing the border between the two countries

Canadian drivers are unable to enter the U.S. unless they are vaccinated, and U.S. drivers are unable to enter Canada

Furthermore, unvaccinated Canadian drivers returning home must get tested and quarantine

Unvaccinated American truckers are not forced to test and quarantine when returning to the U.S.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau called the huge group a ‘small fringe minority’ and pointed out 90 percent of Canadians are vaccinated

The group plan to protest in Ottawa over the weekend, with some vowing to stay until the government rescinds the vaccine mandate

  7. In its own goofy little way this may be the most significant trucking video of the day. Looks like rural Bolivia. Well, talk about capturing the imagination of the world, and tapping into the resentment against government overreach! World socialism has built up so much negative feeling toward government that it is clear this was going to happen some time. It just needed the right ingredients.

If Bolivians, Floridians, Mexicans and everyone else could only know how friggin’ cold it is here–where the thought to frostbite actually enters the realm of possibility–they’d be even more impressed by the resolve of Canadians. Right. Now!
