Reader’s Links for January 9, 2022

Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

** Wales: ‘Sensible solution’ required over bizarre Covid restriction forced on English football club **

The club’s stadium straddles the border, with the front gates, car park and main office door in England but the pitch in Wales.

There are hopes “a sensible pragmatic solution” can be found over the dispute between Chester and the Welsh authorities over fans attending matches, Wales’s First Minister has said.

Non-league Chester fear going out of business if the club is made to play behind closed doors.

The English National League North outfit have been warned they may have breached Welsh coronavirus regulations by hosting crowds at two matches over the holiday period.

    • the gateway pundit – Maria Bartiromo: “That is Disgusting! I Know for a Fact Hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectin Work to Treat Covid” (VIDEO)

Maria Bartiromo had Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI) and Dr. Pierre Cory on her show on Sunday morning.

Dr. Cory spoke out on how the dangerous CDC and FDA elites have prevented Americans from accessing affordable and readily available treatment drugs for COVID.

      video :

Dr. Cory Pierre: The tragedy Maria is that this entire pandemic we have not had an early treatment recommended by the government. Because they’ve been waiting for the approvals of the novel patented drugs.

And the two that just got approval, ONE STUDY! One and done with these pharmaceutical companies.

And meanwhile you have these generic drugs that have dozens of studies and trials and they don’t get approved. It is absolutely absurd.

And these drugs that just got approved.

One doesn’t work. India just canceled their order for it because they know it doesn’t work and the other one is highly toxic.

And so the absurdity and the tragedy and damage on the America people by a broken system.

We need to fix this where people are dying because they are denied highly effective, cheap, widely available drugs that do not present as obscene profits to the pharmaceutical companies.

      • Jordan Peterson calls Quebec minister “scumrat” for announcing three-dose vaccine passports

Prominent Canadian psychologist and author Dr. Jordan Peterson called Quebec health minister Christian Dubé a “scumrat” for telling Quebecers that three doses of a COVID-19 vaccine would soon be required for vaccine passports. Dubé did not provide an exact date for the change but said it would be made after all Quebecers were eligible for a third dose.

Dubé went on to say that people would need to show vaccine passports to buy alcohol at the province-run Société des Alcools du Québec or cannabis at the Société Québécoise du Cannabis as of Jan. 18.

He added that the government would be expanding vaccine passports into other non-essential businesses such as personal care services. This announcement would be made in the coming days.

“By limiting the places (the unvaccinated) can go, we’re limiting their contacts,” said Dubé. “If you don’t want to get vaccinated, stay home.”

Peterson also recently blasted Quebec premier Francois Legault and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau for taking away people’s freedoms during the COVID-19 pandemic.

  4. Sometimes it is good to take a mini break from all the madness. Today was drink a few glasses of wine and listen to some of what I call raunchy music, and I will not apologize for calling it raunchy. George Jones, singing “I got friends in low places”, makes me smile- – the way he slides up and down the scale with his little touch of twang. I must admit my mind slipped back to the real world when he sang “If drinkin don’t kill me, her memory will, and I for a split second thought it could be a song about OAC.

Then I switched to Tom T. Hall. I absolutely love him singing “OLD dogs and children and watermelon wine”. There again for a moment I was back to the real world and thought about the mail-in guy and Justine Trudeau. If you listen to him singing what I call one of my favourite songs ever, Watermelon Wine, it starts out “I was sitting in Miami drinking blended whiskey down, Well I was sitting in my living room, drinking chilled white wine down and trying my best not to think of who is the leader of Canada, a childlike clown.

Keep on the sunny side and remember “Keep calm and carry on (the good fight).
