Reader’s Links for December 11, 2021

Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

  1. “Get lost, this is the land of Allah”: Muslims attack Catholic procession in France

“Wallah on the Koran I will cut your throat”, “This is the land of Allah, fuck off”, this is what is happening in France, in Nanterre, and with these slogans young people attacked and prevented a procession authorised by the prefecture.
It is worth remembering that Christians are persecuted in the land of Islam. Can we accept that the same incidents are repeated in France in the name of Islam? When will people stop denying the radicalisation efforts of Islamism among young Muslims and the great influence of Islamism in the suburbs? When will there be a serious plan to combat this ideology and those who spread it: radicalised mosques, associations linked to the Muslim Brotherhood and patronage-based MPs?

  2. T’was the night before Lockdown
    And all through the world
    The pressure was building
    In the poor human herd
Bamboozled by leaders and seeders of doubt
The people were frightened by all that came out
Some drank the Kool-Aid and claimed they were fine
Then turned on the Others who’d politely declined
Controlled opposition was the truly big play
With leaders like Orbàn on pretty display
You’ve got to look back now to know what was what
When the what that was back has now zoomed to the front.
And the timing of drop-outs like Dorsey and Kurz
Made the ominous sound that something quite worse
    Was coming.

The monsters we grew in the garden of we
Sprouted like weeds from the Keynesian dust
Believing themselves the gods of our kind
Deciding who lives and who lives, then, to serve
Dictating the cadence and rhythm of life
Like the change of this poem to a drummer unknown:

“Obey or Obey,” read the sign that they saw
As they arrived at their “camp” of the Woebegone
And suddenly all colour just drained from their eyes
Dripping in drops from flowers and skies
Flowing all hope from the buckets of they
That were emptied in ditches just there out the door
And they sat as poor Christians and rebels quite sad
In this jail for Others all branded as bad
Dejected by cruelty shown by their brothers
    And all. Seemed. Lost.

But then from the corner of a dimly-lit cell
Came the sound of a voice familiar as hell:
    “Ho, Ho, Ho,” it rumbled.
“No, it can’t be–,” said one in the crowd
“–But it is,” said the voice as the body emerged
From the shadow to light so they could all see
“My name is Saint Nick–or Santa–you choose. Strange place to meet but here we are, stuck. I’m grounded this year for the first time, what luck. They say I can’t fly because I’m not vaxxed. So ho, flippin’ ho. How ’bout that?”
The Others looked ’round at each other quite struck
By this image of Santa not quite what they’d thought
A cigarette hung from his lips with great care
In hopes that the ash would not drop in his hair
This dirty-mouthed angel who swore like a sailor
This dirty-faced angel who came from the gutter
His red suit in tatters and the stink of old gin
Knew all to be known ’bout the spirit of hope
Perhaps like no other this heart of St. Nick
Pumped blood so true blue that the Everyman mattered
“But why, on Earth, of all people, you?” asked the plumber from some village unknown. “You’re magical!”
“Well, I know a few tricks, this much is true. But these bad guys are good–they know a few, too.
They put CF-18s all ready to scramble
If my reindeer take off for my Christmas Eve ramble
They promised they’d blow my arse from the sky
If I gave any hint of wanting to try.”
“But if Santa is cooked like a goose with his magic, how do mere mortals not end up as tragic?”
“My goose is not cooked my dear old friend, Roger. I remember you well from when you were small. I gave you a hockey stick and maybe a ball. But no, my goose is all good. In fact even better. You see it gets stronger in dark stormy weather. I’ve come on my own to give you all hope, to show you some way through this black hopeless joke:
The sum of your parts is greater than you
If you stand all for One
    And that’s how you move
    The collective that stands
    Against the one man
    Has lost all humanity
    Across all the land
    So move now as one
    For freedom jihad.

Most people, like rivers, will go with the flow
But you are like salmon who struggle upstream
Yet vaxxed or unvaxxed, the point will be moot
The prisons will fill at the end of a boot
    A booster–or ten–you won’t see an end
So walk now, dear friends, to the world without fear
The life you once had is really quite near.”

And then like a giant of one-million strong,
They stood on their feet to right every wrong
And started to move with such motion and grace
That the tyrants watched Hope moving from outer space
“You see,” said Santa, “just what you can do?
By putting your fears behind in their place?
    Don’t stop and don’t blink
    Don’t doubt and don’t worry
    Their power, dear friends
    Is less than you think!”

The guards of the prison all loaded and locked
Had been having a laugh at the expense of this lot
But the smile was wiped from their lips and their eyes
When the size of the giant emerged by surprise
Shaking the ground with thunderous weight
Stopping at nothing–at no flimsy gate
Stopping at nothing till freedom was had
And suddenly fear was gift wrapped and sent
To the guards of this prison
    Whose barrels went bent
And with not a shot fired
    The prisoners went

    Then from above
    The people all heard
    The voice of St. Nick
    So joyful and loud:
“On Delta! On Covid! Omicron and Xi
The crack of my whip I lay upon thee!
Now Fauci! now Gates! All tyrants that be!
    We’ll drive you to Hell
    Oh Hell you shall see!”

Then at last from above humanity heard
Dear Santa exclaim as he drove out of sight

    • It gets a little harder everyday to listen to crazy people telling me what should be done to the unvaccinated, the collaborators, the fear freaks, the contributors to this diabolical plot.

Take care of yourself EB and thank you for being you.

      • I know. I don’t what to say anymore. All You can do right now it to stay positive, stay calm and to take care of yourself and your love ones.

    • zero hedge – Have Professional Athletes Become The Canary-In-The-COVID-Coalmine?

The sudden spate of on-field emergencies has raised questions among several seasoned veterans of the game…

Amid studies showing a link between some vaccines and heart problems, professional athletes appear to be collapsing on the field of dreams like never before. Are these incidences normal occurrences, coincidences or symptomatic of mandatory vaccine programs?

zeri hedge – WHO/CDC: Zero Omicron Deaths In The World, Only 1 Hospitalized Across 22 States In US

[…]CDC Director Rochelle Walensky, the bureaucrat who coined the term “pandemic of the unvaccinated” (only to see the virus cut through vaccine protections like butter), confirmed Friday afternoon that the US has only seen one patient hospitalized due to omicron, and that nearly all cases of the variant found in the US so far have been notably mild.

Does that mean the CDC will still push for expanding the definition of “fully vaccinated” to include those who have gotten the booster? It’s too soon to tell…but that’s where things seem to be headed.

zero hedge – COVID-19 A Pandemic Of Fear “Manufactured” By Authorities: Yale Epidemiologist

The COVID-19 pandemic has been one of fear, manufactured by individuals who were in the nominal positions of authority as the virus began to spread across the globe last year, according to Yale epidemiologist Dr. Harvey Risch.

In an appearance on Epoch TV’s “American Thought Leaders” program, Risch, an epidemiology professor at the Yale School of Public Health and Yale School of Medicine’s Department of Epidemiology and Public Health, argued that by and large, what has characterized the entire CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus pandemic has been a “degree of fear and people’s response to the fear.”

“Overall, I’d say that we’ve had a pandemic of fear. And fear has affected almost everybody, whereas the infection has affected relatively few,” said Risch.

  3. Unvaxxed in Austria Could be Imprisoned For a Year – paul j watson

New amendment increases sentence for non-payment of fines.

People in Austria who remain unvaccinated could find themselves imprisoned for a year, according to critics of an amendment to an administrative law.

Susanne Fürst of the Austrian Freedom Party (FPÖ), which voted against the amendment, warned that it could be used to punish the unjabbed with much harsher sentences.

The amendment raises fines from €726 (£617/$818) to €2,000 (£1,701/$2,255) and increases prison time for those who refuse to pay from four weeks to up to a year.

Given that Austrians who don’t get vaccinated by February face fines of up to €7,200 ($8,000) for non-compliance, those who refuse to pay would also face a 12 month jail sentence.

The amendment also orders people who are jailed to pay for their own imprisonment.

“If detention is carried out by the courts, the associated costs shall be recovered by the courts from the obligated party in accordance with the provisions existing for the recovery of the costs of enforcing judicial penalties,” it states.

Despite Fürst protesting that the amendment could be used to further punish the unvaccinated, the measure was approved anyway.

At the time it was announced, then Chancellor Alexander Schallenberg vowed to hit the unvaccinated with “penalties” if they still refused to get the jab, while asserting that they should “suffer.”

Given that some technocrats are asserting that the vaccination program will never end, the initial one year prison sentence for vaccine refusniks could be just the beginning.
