I happen to have spent some time this evening with a medical professional who explained another aspect of the way this is being done. As I understood it, part of it is by using the total number of people who have been hospitalized since January 2020 months before the mRNA shots existed and factoring them into the number by percentage of vaccinated and not in hospital for Covid. As it happens, the percentage of those in hospital with Covid or Covid symptoms are increasingly and sometimes entirely made up of those who got the mRNA shots. In fact it seems like there are more since the roll out than there was when this arguably was a pandemic. Yet now they are firing double digits of medical staff in Canada and the US. Not something you would expect during a pandemic.
