Reader’s Links for July 13, 2021

Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

    • The communist are trying to take over, I don’t remember if it was in the article that the first two locations the new offices will be open in are San Francisco and Florida. The former is so they can spy on Pelosi’s political opponents and the latter so they can spy on Trump. I can’t think of anything more communist/third world then continual spying on your political opponents.

    M. Even my cat choked when she looked over my shoulder and read this saying: “you call your species “sentient”?
If I say what I think I will be labelled forever*sniff*.

Quote: “The baby has been able to latch, but I have not been able to produce any milk…”
Thanks captain obvious! Who knew that a biological male couldn’t produce breastmilk?

100 Percent Fed Up reports – Determined to shove their depravity down the throat of their newborn, both literally and figuratively, the mentally ill new parents express dismay at not being able to breastfeed their baby naturally. In hindsight maybe “dad” should’ve kept his breasts when he decided to keep his uterus. Just a thought.
The new parents have refused to accept identification documents for their newborn baby because it would require the female who gave birth (wearing glasses) to be listed as the mother and not the male (black hair, pretending to breastfeed) who did not give birth.

Tearful but with a stiff upper lip, the new parent confidently exclaims, “we’re gonna supplement the feeding with formula so that my baby is still getting the nutrients that they need”.
Perhaps daddy-mama is confused by the word supplement, which Merriam-Webster dictionary defines as ‘something that completes or makes an addition.’ Cant supplement something if you’ve nothing, to begin with. The baby won’t be supplemented by formula, it will be sustained solely by it!

Smalls said it best in the 1993 film, The Sandlot, “I haven’t had anything yet, so how can I have some more of nothing?”

  2. Assassins Kill President of Haiti in Midnight Home Invasion
    by Frances Martel – July 7, 2021

In addition to pressure from opposition leaders to step down, Moïse faced mounting demands from Haitian business leaders to consider establishing relations with China. Haiti is one of the few remaining nations in the world to recognize Taiwan’s sovereignty and maintain close ties to that country. Under the Communist Party’s “One China” policy, Beijing does not maintain any diplomatic relations with countries that recognize Taiwan. In an interview with Taiwan News published Wednesday, Haiti’s ambassador to Taiwan asserted that Moïse valued the bilateral relationship and had no intention of accepting lucrative Chinese loan offers to abandon Haiti’s relationship with Taiwan.

Shrier: ‘Aw shucks’ conservatives are handing America over to the woke

    Abigail Shrier

    By Mary Margaret Olohan

Both meek “aw shucks” conservatives and “chest thumper” conservatives are handing America over to woke activists, author Abigail Shrier claimed in a Monday Substack.

The journalist and author highlighted the successful work of anti-critical race theory writer Christopher Rufo, who Shrier praised for speaking not to elites, but to Americans, by “gathering evidence and pointing out the glaring harm in clear, unapologetic (but never crass or rude) language.”

“Rufo is out there identifying the problem, alerting the public, and sounding all available alarms,” Shrier wrote. “If he hasn’t yet slain the beast, he has at least awakened American parents from their coma, convinced them that they cannot trust the teachers and administrators and school boards who treat children, not as students, but as recruits for their revolution.”

Pakistan: Karachi residents watch as crane lifts sacrificial oxen from rooftop

Dozens of Karachi residents gathered in the Nazimabad area of the city on Sunday, to watch six sacrificial oxen being lowered by crane from the top of a four-storey residential building to the ground, ahead of Eid al-Adha festivities.

Attending the lowering of the cattle has become a local tradition in the city of Karachi, where cattle owner Syed Ejaz Ahmad and his family raise the calves from infancy to adulthood.

” I have been doing this for more than 19 years. I bring baby cattle and then in one year they grow up. Then I sacrifice them in the name of Allah, and for that we have to get the cattle down from the roof with a crane,” said Ejaz Ahmad.

During the Muslim festival Eid al-Adha, otherwise known as the ‘Feast of Sacrifice,’ cattle are sacrificed to honour the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim, or Abraham, to sacrifice his son Ismail on God’s command.

    • global news – WHO cautions against mixing COVID-19 vaccines, even as experts say it’s safe

A new message from the World Health Organization’s (WHO) chief scientist Dr. Soumya Swaminathan created confusion, especially for Canadians, after she advised not to mix and match COVID-19 vaccines, calling it a “dangerous trend” and that there was not enough data to support the medical efficacy of the method.

But in Canada, hundreds of thousands of people followed the government’s recommendation to mix and match vaccines, such as AstraZeneca followed by an mRNA vaccine.

The National Advisory Committee on Immunization (NACI) advised it was safe to do so, and Nova Scotia’s chief medical officer of health Dr. Robert Strang agreed, adding there was “clear evidence” the two mRNA vaccines could also be mixed.

As Jamie Mauracher reports, the mixed messaging is doing little to help vaccine hesitancy.

The Biden Administration continued the Trump-era rejection of almost all of China’s territorial claims in the South China Sea, warning the communist country that an attack on the Philippines would draw a significant U.S. response.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken reaffirmed the U.S.’ message in a statement Sunday, which was also the fifth anniversary of an international tribunal ruling in favor of the Philippines and against China’s maritime claims. China has rejected the ruling since it was first made.

“Nowhere is the rules-based maritime order under greater threat than in the South China Sea,” Blinken said, accusing China of attempting to “coerce and intimidate Southeast Asian coastal states, threatening freedom of navigation in this critical global throughway.”

For a party that spent the entire four years of the Trump administration calling the president “another Hitler,” the Democrats sure are fond of gestapo tactics. Barack Obama, throughout his two misspent terms in the Oval Office, urged Americans to join his “Attack Watch,” later rechristened “Truth Team,” whose job was to rat out names of individuals who spread misinformation and “fake news.” And Joe Biden had scarcely taken the oath of office as president before he was talking about “partnering with private firms to monitor extremist chatter online” and launching “strike forces” to go into local communities to ferret out infidels who had not agreed to receive a COVID vaccination.

Now a new voice from the administration has chimed in. On Sunday, the FBI wrote:

  11. popular COMMENT from internet:

“Growing up I lived through true systemic racism. Trust me when I tell you, it is real. The problem is, it is not coming from white people. American black culture was born out of rebellion and resistance towards an unfair system at that time. Yet, it has failed to change with the changes in society. It’s not a culture that can mix with other cultures because it is, by design, rebellious and resistant.Everything from language to appearance is almost the direct opposite of “white culture” for lack of a better term. Asking white people to accept or adapt to the American black culture is not practical or even possible because it is in direct conflict and geared to rebel against white people. This really isn’t hard to understand. In American black culture, white people are the enemy from the start. That has to change before anything else can. Naturally, a culture that is inherently rebellious is not sustainable, even for it’s own people. Once the rest of society distances itself from the culture, the same rebellious qualities will turn inward toward each other because that is all you know. They are right about a systemic problem, but they are looking to make changes in the wrong place.” – Unknown internet commenter used without permission…

I’ve seen this comment a dozen times now in various comment sections and it keeps getting copied and pasted by readers because it’s so darn illuminating and astute. And when I think about it wouldn’t my “culture” be an angry rebellious one if we had been subject to Jim Crow laws and backs-of-buses for so many years? I know I’d be. It’s not individuals who are the issue, it is the collective ethos of a human sub-group that needs to update and change along with the mainstream ethos which changed in the ’60s, before the entire situation can right itself. Be patient. We’d all be pissed off if we’d been treated that way.
And somebody please put a sock in Al Sharpton’s mouth before his poison words kill another thousand people…

So ask yourself a simple question. How would a patent on a treatment for a thing that had been invented 3 days earlier?
The patent in question, April 28, 2003, patent 7151163, issued to Sequoia Pharmaceutical, has another problem. The problem is, it was issued and published before the CDC patent on Coronavirus was actually allowed.

So the degree to which the information could have been known by means other then insider information between those parties is zero.

It is not physically possible for you to patent a thing that treats a thing that had not been published—because CDC had paid to keep it secret.

    * ‘Every officer is up to speed on diversity training. Not so much ship handling’: Scathing official report finds US Navy is not fit for war because of risk averse, politically correct, control-freak top brass *

A scathing new report commissioned by members of Congress has claimed that the Navy’s surface warfare forces have systemic training and leadership issues, including a focus on diversity that overshadows basic readiness skills.

The report prepared by Marine Lt. Gen. Robert Schmidle and Rear Adm. Mark Montgomery, both retired, came in response to recent Naval disasters, including the burning of the USS Bonhomme Richard in San Diego, two collisions involving Navy ships in the Pacific and the surrender of two small craft to Iran.

The authors conducted hour-long interviews with 77 current and retired Navy officers, offering them anonymity to identify issues they wouldn’t feel comfortable raising in the chain of command.

    • More, what a disaster!

The report found that a staggering 94 percent of the subjects believed the recent Naval disasters were ‘part of a broader problem in Navy culture or leadership.’

‘I guarantee you every unit in the Navy is up to speed on their diversity training. I’m sorry that I can’t say the same of their ship handling training,’ said one recently retired senior enlisted leader.
