Reader’s Links for May 12, 2021

Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

  1. With all the troubles in theses days…. let’s remember what SpaceX HAS DONE!

10th landing of a reusable first stage.

First flight and LANDING of a craft the size of a GRAIN SILO!!!!

Returning the first flight “Crew 1” after delivering the “Crew 2” on a DRAGON!!!!

I hope that link works… if not, fast forwards to 5:31:48 on the vid…

    This IS who we are…..

  2. The mess we are in becomes so much easier to deal with when we declare, in our own minds, war with the Chinese Communist Party. I think we’ve seen enough to make this conclusion.

It is then that we begin to understand more clearly that enemy agents walk among us, hiding in plain sight. They became agents because they are corrupt. No need to look much deeper than the piss in the pan that is a Fauci, or a Soros, or a Clinton or…

Declaring war makes even sheep alert. When they become spooked they’ll band together, placing their young ones inside the flock for protection.

Declaring war before your own elected politicians do is not only possible, but necessary for survival. This way the wolf you see in the bush with your own eyes can’t be denied no matter the lies the leader of your flock tries. And here is precisely where the tired sheep and wolf metaphor can finally end, because the “sheep” have heavy weaponry, and the “wolf” is exposed, proving for all that he is real.

Declaring war is a short cut through so many lies like Covid-19 and Climate Change and the Great Reset. It clears all the disinformation off the table with one great swipe of the arm, and lets us get down to the business of the art of war. Out unilateral declaration–sans all of our homegrown traitors–forces our power-mad politicians to follow us. It is the only way to compel them to discard the mandates of Sun Tzu. It is the only way to turn Sun Tzu against himself. It is our only first step to reclaiming our freedom.

    • Which brings me to the question of the day. What the hell are they building at Parliament Hill? Because behind that giant opaque fence like structure, it sure feels like they are building a giant fence.

Now why would they do that after 150 years?

    • also makes it easier to explain to our children what these enforced sacrifices are. They ask us if schools have ever closed like this before.

  3. The vile, hate filled leader of terrorist group Hibz ut-Tharir, Maziin Abdul-Adhim, the man from Iraq living and spreading hate in London, Ontario should have been deported years ago. We have a hate speech motion in Canada, M-103, he should know this, a fellow Muslim, Iqra Khalid introduced it, pushed it and the boys at Palestine House congratulated “loyal sister Khalid” for her success.

Today on his vile hate filled, seditious Facebook page:
“Israel” is the shadow of Arab regimes. So when something ceases to exist, it’s shadow also ceases to exist”.

Surprise: Biden admin, media are giving false picture of Sheikh Jarrah land dispute in Israel

Palestinian Arabs surge in “protests” at Al Aqsa mosque, May 2021. BBC video, YouTube

If you believe the mainstream media, the land dispute in Sheikh Jarrah (north of Jerusalem) is a case of those nasty Israeli Jews trying to evict Palestinians from their homes. The Biden re-Bama administration agrees. White House Spokeswoman Jen Psaki said the administration is concerned about the Israeli government tossing Palestinians out of their homes.

Allow me to put this dispute in basic terms. Palestinian tenants on land owned by Jews aren’t paying their rent. After a few years of legal action, Israeli judges said it was okay for the landowners to toss the freeloaders out.

As explained in a white paper published by Professor Avi Bell:

  5. GREECE – Council of Europe accuses Greece of migrant pushbacks, says they must stop

ATHENS (Reuters) – Europe’s top human rights watchdog has urged Greece to end pushbacks of asylum-seekers on its borders, a practice that Athens denies carrying out.

In a letter to Greek ministers dated May 3 and published on Wednesday, the Council of Europe’s Human Rights Commissioner said there had been “numerous credible allegations” since at least 2017 of asylum-seekers illegally returned to Turkey or left adrift at sea but that Athens had simply dismissed them.

UNHCR, the United Nations’ refugee agency, has also gathered information pointing to several dozen pushbacks since January 2020, said the letter from Commissioner Dunja Mijatovic.

“I urge you (Greece) to put an end to these practices and to ensure that independent and effective investigations are carried out into all allegations of pushbacks and of ill-treatment by members of security forces,” Mijatovic said.

The Council of Europe is guardian of the European Convention on Human Rights and creator of the European Court of Human Rights.

In a response also published by Mijatovic’s office, Greece said it had investigated the allegations and found them “largely unsubstantiated”.

“The actions taken by the Greek authorities, at our sea borders, are being carried out in full compliance with the country’s international obligations,” Greek ministers were quoted as saying in their response to the Council.

They said Greece had rescued thousands of people since the start of Europe’s migrant crisis in 2015 and officers had to do their job “against the backdrop of an unfavourable environment of intended misleading information emanating in most cases from the smugglers’ networks”.

Mijatovic also said that living conditions in Greece’s overcrowded island camps remained “substandard”.

Speaking to Reuters, she cited the case of a 28-year-old Somali man on the island of Chios last week who had died of a pulmonary condition and whose body was marked by suspected rat bites.

“This is a tragic illustration of the horrific conditions in which thousands of people have been living for years on the Greek Aegean islands,” Mijatovic said.
