Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

      A teacher has been suspended for showing his class a cartoon of the Prophet Mohammed after dozens of protesters gathered at his school gates this morning.

      Batley Grammar School in West Yorkshire was forced to delay its opening, telling students to stay at home while police officers stood guard at the gates.

      Gary Kibble, the headmaster, wrote to parents to offer his “sincere and full apology”, adding that the picture shown in a Religious Studies (RS) lesson on Monday was “completely inappropriate”.

      He said that the image “had the capacity to cause great offence” to members of the school community, adding that the school launched an investigation following concerns from parents.

      But his letter did not deter over a hundred protesters from arriving at the school this morning, after messages were circulated on social media last night urging members of the local community to turn up in person.

      On Thursday morning the road which the school is on was closed off by police, who erected a cordon stretching around 300ft.

      Imam Mohammed Amin Pandor addressed the crowd following his meeting with the school’s headmaster.

      “What happened here, we are disgusted,” the Imam said. “What has happened is totally unacceptable and we have made sure they are aware.

      “The teacher has been suspended. They can’t just sack him, they need to do their due process.

      “We’ve asked for an investigation, an investigation to be independent. We are going to work with the school to make sure things like this don’t happen.”

      On Wednesday evening messages were circulated on social media encouraging people to protest at the school.

      “It is imperative that all of us turn up to demand the resignation of this teacher as an absolute minimum and fulfil our duty of defending the honour of RasoolAllah,” one message on Facebook said.

      The message, which purported to name the teacher in question, urged people to come and “defend the honour of our prophet Muhammad”.

      Mr Kibble had attempted to diffuse the situation by sending a letter to parents earlier this week.

      “The school would like to thank the parents who contacted us on Monday, March 22 highlighting concerns with a resource used in an RS lesson that day,” he said.

      “Upon investigation, it was clear that the resource used in the lesson was completely inappropriate and had the capacity to cause great offence to members of our school community for which we would like to offer a sincere and full apology.”

      He went on to explain that the school had taken “immediate action” following its investigation, including the removal of the resource from materials and the suspension of that lesson content from the scheme of work.

      “As an additional precaution, we will undertake a formal review of the RS curriculum to ensure no other resource or statement is inappropriate and take appropriate action as needed,” he said.

      Parents were sent a text message this morning asking children to stay at home “due to the disturbance outside of school”.

      They were told “if your child has not already set off please keep them at home as school will be starting at 10am”.

      Batley Grammar School, which was founded in 1612 by the Reverend William Lee, boasts the poet Roger McGough, former BBC director-general John Birt and Olympic swimmer Francesca Halsall among its former pupils.

      Its alumni include the eighteenth century natural Joseph Priestley who is credited with the discovery of oxygen and is regarded as one of the founding fathers of Chemistry, among its alumni.

      Another Old Batelian, as former pupils are known, is Sir Willans Richardson, who won the Nobel prize for Physics in 1928 for his work on thermionic emission.

      Originally an academically selective school, Batley Grammar went on to become a fee-paying institution in 1978 and since 2011 has been a free school. It is now part of Batley Multi Academy Trust, a group of five state schools in the local area.

    Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS) is a rare disorder where the body’s immune system damages nerve cells, causing muscle weakness and sometimes paralysis.

    In 1976, there was a small increased risk of GBS after the Swine Flu vaccination, which was a SPECIAL flu vaccine for a “potential pandemic” strain of flu virus.

    My neighbour, a nurse was told she must get the vaccine – she did – 6 hours later she was hospitalized- she died.

            I have taken vitamin d from September to May every year.

            I learned years ago to avoid perfume departments and do not use scented soaps, etc and I have been fine, until this year. I now cannot go to the bank, post office, grocery store, because of the excess use of hand sanitizers. I now get a rash when I wear a mask. I am trying to keep on the sunny side, but I am greatly disappointed with the number of hypochondriacs and frivolous people. The sky is Not falling. I still do not know anyone who has had the China flu.

    House Democrats are expressing alarm that many people who are elderly, disabled or veterans are facing delays in receiving the $1,400 stimulus checks as part of the most recent COVID-19 relief package.

    Many people who receive Social Security, Supplemental Security Income, Railroad Retirement Board or Veterans Affairs benefits — and don’t have to file tax returns — still haven’t gotten their third stimulus checks nearly two weeks after Biden signed the legislation.

    Senior members of the House Ways and Means Committee pressed the heads of the IRS and Social Security Administration (SSA) to offer a timeline this week for speeding up distribution.

    On Wednesday, lawmakers pointed to the SSA as the culprit after learning that the IRS requested payment files needed to issue the stimulus checks to nearly 30 million Social Security and Supplemental Security Income recipients two weeks before Biden signed the pandemic relief law into effect on March 11.

    “We demand that you immediately provide the IRS with this information by tomorrow,” House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Richard Neal (D-Mass.) and Reps. Bill Pascrell (D-N.J.), John Larson (D-Conn.) and Danny K. Davis (D-Ill.) wrote in a letter Wednesday to SSA Commissioner Andrew Saul.

However, the Ethiopians plan a three-year reservoir-filling process, which would deprive Egypt of 33 billion cubic meters out of the 55.5 it is allowed each year. This would mean that each Egyptian would receive 600 cubic meters annually instead of 2,500, transforming the country.

      Egypt has already reduced the cultivation of water-intensive crops such as rice and started building water desalination plants in 2014. The most plausible course of action would be to secure international support and try to convince the Ethiopians to accept a compromise.

    MOSCOW (AP) — Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny has accused prison authorities of failing to provide proper treatment for his back pain and leg problems, saying in a letter posted Thursday that his physical condition has worsened in prison and he now has trouble walking.

    Navalny blamed his health problems on prison officials failing to provide the right medicines and refusing to allow his doctor to visit him behind bars. He also complained in a second letter that the hourly checks a guard makes on him at night amounted to sleep deprivation torture.

    Copies of his letters to penitentiary officials and Russia’s top prosecutor were posted on Navalny’s website.

    Israel is losing the battle for the control of Judea and Samaria to the Palestinian Authority’s (PA) grand plan to take it over illegally, leaders from Judea and Samaria and the political system warned, following an expose by the Ad Kan organization on the strategic threat.

    Members of the Ad Kan organization conducted an undercover operation and disguised themselves as Arabs working for a Belgian news agency and were successful in obtaining the PA’s grand plan to overtake Area C in Judea and Samaria through illegal construction projects, funded by the European Union (EU) and Arab countries.

    Area C is parts of Judea and Samaria under full Israeli jurisdiction as per the Oslo Accords.

    The Ad Kan operation exposed that the PA is operating in the shadows together with the EU and the United Nations that have allocated about 3 billion euros for the construction of a Palestinian state and the construction of a new capital in Jerusalem.

    In conversations with PA officials and original documents unveiled by the architects of the grand plan during interviews, Ad Kan found that the EU “is pushing with all its might,” knowingly operating against the law and in contravention of the Oslo Accords, to build a Palestinian state.

    Ad Kan uncovered what it described as “a well-oiled mechanism” in which the EU secretly provides money, people and planning and legal knowledge to prepare a plan that will “isolate Israeli communities in Judea and Samaria and Jerusalem and establish a de facto terrorist state in the heart of Israel.”

    During the operation, they realized that the process was already in full swing and that about 100 such programs are taking shape in the field, unhindered.
