2 China Sold Canada Another 8 MILLION Unusable Masks

A whopping 8 million masks bought by Canada from China have been rejected by the federal government, after the masks failed to meet quality specifications.

 

The masks were imported by a Montreal-based company.

The federal government has since suspended all mask shipments from that company – due to quality concerns.

In total, 11 million masks from China were ordered, and only 1.1 million met requirements. 1.6 million are still being tested.

3. Hungarian parliament rejects Istanbul Convention over gender ideology and migration concerns

The Hungarian Parliament passed with overwhelming majority (115 to 35 votes) a political resolution rejecting the Istanbul Convention on the grounds that it promotes gender theory and migration.

 

The parliament noted that the elements it agrees with in the document, such as its emphasis on protecting women’s rights and fighting domestic violence, are already built into Hungarian law, which means there was no reason for Hungary to ratify 2011 document.

 

The Istanbul Convention, an initiative of the Council of Europe that was adopted by the council’s Committee of Ministers on April 7, 2011, in Istanbul, has long been deemed controversial for its many clauses in support of LGBT causes and pro-migration causes.

 

The motion was sponsored by Hungary’s junior coalition partner the Christian Democratic Party (KDNP), which said in the justification that “the document wants to force upon countries the definition of social genders and with it the introduction of the destructive gender theory and also wants to force countries to grant asylum based on gender.”

 

While Hungary was among the 45 countries that signed the Istanbul Convention after a three-year delay in 2014, it was never ratified by the Hungarian Parliament, hence is not part of the Hungarian legal system.

A New Jersey driver crashed head-on into a pole — after passing out from wearing an N95 mask for hours, police said Friday.

 

Lincoln Park police believe that the driver, who was not named, lost consciousness while behind the wheel Thursday from lack of oxygen and breathing in excessive carbon dioxide thanks to the mask, the department wrote on Facebook.

 

“The LPPD responded to a lone occupant single car motor vehicle crash yesterday. The crash is believed to have resulted from the driver wearing an N95 mask for several hours and subsequently passing out behind the wheel due to insufficient oxygen intake/excessive carbon dioxide intake,” the cops wrote.

A RECORD 150 migrants crammed into 10 tiny dinghies were intercepted in the English Channel as they attempted to make an early morning crossing yesterday.

 

People-trafficking gangs have been taking advantage of calm conditions to smuggle huge numbers of people into Britain in recent days.

 

Before yesterday the most for a single day was 102 in February. The first week of May saw 76 people landing. In April, 523 people crossed the busy Dover Strait shipping lane.

 

Nearly 700 people had reached Britain’s shores since the coronavirus lockdown before yesterday’s total was counted.

Border Force lifeboats and a coastguard helicopter were launched after yesterday’s alarm was raised.

A drone from Lydd airport in Kent was also used to spot the migrants. The first dinghy, which was packed with about 50 people, was picked up at around 2am.
