THUGS using coronavirus as a weapon to attack emergency workers should be sent straight to jail, police chiefs have demanded. Magistrates have been scalded for handing out slap-on-the-wrist sentences to those who have spat or coughed at police, claiming they were infected.
John Apter, the national chairman of the Police Federation of England and Wales, has called for mandatory prison sentences for such vile offences. He said: “I completely accept that policing is dangerous, I have always said policing is dangerous and unpredictable, but that doesn’t mean that being assaulted is just part of the job, it’s not. It should only be in the most exceptional of circumstances that offenders do not go to prison – the norm should be those found guilty spend time behind bars.
The article continues on to show there is basically no punishment for deliberately trying to infect police with Wuhan Flu. Lets compare that with Texas:

(So in the UK, trying to infect a police officer and his family, as was the stated intent by one of the attackers, nothing. Trying to keep a business going by honest commerce in Texas…)

The social contract between the government and the governed is being broken by most governments in the west, the Civil Servants in the Governments are forgetting that they work for the people are are thinking that they are the new Nobility in a neo feudal government The time is fast approaching when we will once again be called upon to defend out rights against domestic foes as well as foreign ones. Once the fighting starts we can forget about reviving Western Civilization and will have to concentrate on preserving the freedom and faith that is the foundation of Western Civilization. As long as we remain free we can rebuild civilization but once we lose our freedom both freedom and civilization are lost for several centuries.
I suspect that that ward was brimming with 300-pound 70-year-old blacks and Hispanics from the Projects all with histories of heart attacks, strokes, diabetes, cancer, and COPD not to mention smoking and drinking and they are basically just euthanizing them with the intubators and the morphine. They’re not just lying there in their sickbeds they are horribly short of breath and gasping to get oxygen their dying lungs cannot process. It’s horrible… And if they manage to survive their lungs are so damaged that the next cold or flu will hit like a tornado…
Still, would it kill them to waste a little hydroxychloroquine on the poor buggers? I’ve heard of cases of the stuff helping on last-gasp cases. Why the hell not…? This nurse-practitioner’s story is very disturbing…
If they’re dying from Chinese coronavirus, at least give them Chinese fentanyl for comfort care. Some of these caregivers simply do not care.

I’ll tell you if I was a New York doctor and I had a senior patient with various co-morbidities and a tendency to pneumonia who lived in a building with lots of coronavirus I would have them on a maintenance dose of Hydroxychloroquine and Z-Pak on a permanent basis with plenty of gin and tonics for good measure. Hell, I’d have them soaking their feet in the stuff…
Chris, HCQ is ok, but hold off the antibiotic. That’s only used when bacterial infection is secondary to the viral infection. Don’t court antibiotic resistance.
Sometimes it’s fungal instead of bacterial. Then there’s a great old anti-parasitic called Ivermectin. One dose is all it takes. Some places (like India) are using it as a first-order treatment for the Wuhan. It works on dengue and Zika viruses, so what the hell?
(I’m not doing prophylactic HCQ myself. Nicotine gum is my placebo. It’s stopped me from sealing off the vent in my bathroom.)
