  1. Others are at home, their practice limited to [billable] virtual-med. VERY limited. Free-standing clinics that do minimally invasive procedures are shut down, same as the hospitals.

    Today’s physicians don’t know individual patients; they’re data junkies who depend on technology. Diagnostic devices are collecting dust (or {shudder} coronavirus cooties). The most vulnerable, the “underlying conditions” set, they’ll think long and hard before returning for routine visits.

    What about teaching hospitals? A residency in most specialties this year will be almost worthless.
