Britain’s highest-circulation newspaper has published an article complaining that “bleating” about Muslim rape gangs is taking the focus away from “important discussions” around “Islamophobia”.
Faima Bakar, “lifestyle reporter” at the Metro, which is distributed for free across Britain’s buses, trains, railway stations, and airports, complained that “constant bleating about ‘Muslim grooming gangs’ is specifically being used to shut down important discussions about islamophobia [sic]” in the article, headlined ‘The majority of sexual offenders are white men – there is no Muslim problem with sexual grooming’.

So I just watched Dr. Fauci talking about hydroxychloroquine and here we go again, with his head shaking continuously from side to side and every second word being “no”. What gives? Why is there so much resistance to the quinine solution? Does Dr. Fauci really hate Trump that much? He keeps assuming that people are all idiots who leap to conclusions and are now celebrating their absolute victory over the virus on scant evidence – but nobody’s doing that. People are just hearing good rumblings from hydroxychloroquine and they are looking in that direction. That’s all. Nobody’s losing their cool or panicking in the streets. Somebody really doesn’t want the “Trump drug” to be “the one” that ends up with the Nobel Prize and all that…

As an aside, I just attended an on-line gathering of spirits with a Jewish group local to the area. About half had lost a grandparent within the last week — New York, Florida. I lost a friend and her husband in Chicago. That’s a lot of grief to go around. Spirits has two meanings.
So, the rabbi says that one man was discharged from the hospital and starts crying when he see the $5000 charge for a day of respiratory services. The concerned staff ask him if he needs help to pay. “No.” the man says. “I never realized before the value of what God has given me every day of my life.”

That must be a big city thing, out here in fly over country there are stores closed but we are still able to get out of the house, although there are reports that the New York City Board members of Walmart are about to stop them selling anything besides food and medical supplies.
I live on an Island in Northern Ontario, a couple just returned from a cruise, they both tested positive so here we go.
