Inside a Turkish medical facility

We had this translation checked by our own Turkish speaker and it is accurate. Interesting and this has implications. Notice how nearly no safety protocols are taken by medical staff. What looks like an orderly or other official actually rubs his face as he passes the group of patients.

  1. Innocent question (/sarc): Who would have thought that Muslims returning from the Haj Pilgrimage would spread it?

That said, how many in Saudi Arabia are infected? How many everywhere from the Haj?

On a positive note: What goes around, comes around. This applies very well to Erdogan land.

    • I caught that bit about Saudi also, I thought the Saudi Government cancelled the Haj this year.

The cases jumped from hundreds to thousands when the people returned from Saudi, this means that the virus has spread to all Islamic nations that had people go to Saudi on the Haj.

      • Even if the Hajj was cancelled, muslims from all over the world visit throughout the year. Most see this as a “dry run” (no joke), so they know what to do and where to go during their proper hajj.

        • If they return to home and spread the virus they are going to do the west an unintended favor.

  2. How many of the migrants trying to storm Greece are infected?

By this time I would guess close to half or better, they are living rough and those that aren’t are staying in the sam buildings, they are taking the same buses to the border each morning and are probably eating out of communal bowls and trays.

The next question is how many have preexisting conditions? I don’t know enough to make a guess on this one.

    • As many as a _third_ of those infected will remain asymptomatic – and be _carriers_ of the disease. Young people who do develop symptoms might manifest as suffering from the common cold.

Odds are they will be slightly indisposed while they pass a lethal dose to the Greek community.
