1. March 11: Turkish boat appears to have rammed Greek boat
A serious incident took place in the early morning hours of Wednesday, when a Turkish Coast Guard boat attacked a vessel of the Greek Coast Guard off the island of Kos, in the eastern Aegean Sea. “Intentionally with the purpose to ram it,” says Greece and summons the Turkish ambassador to Athens.
The incident was initially reported by the correspondent of German Bild newspaper in Greece who also posted an exclusively obtained video.

7. ‘Dangerous’ Sheffield rapists jailed for exploiting teenager
Four “dangerous” men who raped an “extremely vulnerable” teenage girl have been jailed.
The girl was 15 when the men began plying her with drink and drugs in order to exploit her.
The victim told Sheffield Crown Court she had been “scarred for life” as a result of the abuse she suffered.
Jasim Mohammed, Kawan Ahmed, Nzar Anwar and Shangar Ibrahimi were jailed for between 12 and 25 years after being convicted of rape after a trial.
A fifth man was also jailed for four years after being convicted on conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.

UNITED NATIONS (AP) – Allegations of sexual abuse and exploitation in UN peacekeeping and political missions rose significantly in 2019, with allegations against civilian personnel nearly doubling, a UN report said Friday.
Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said in the report to the UN General Assembly that while the number of alleged victims and perpetrators decreased last year, the number of allegations increased to 80 from the 56 reported in 2018.

But since he and his wife are in isolation the anger that he should be the recipient of, gets mitigated by sympathy.
And suddenly it is no surprise that Canadians are fighting each other over the ability to buy too much toilet paper, even though there is no shortage at all.

Was asking at the local Metro and Independent how the panic was going. The two chains this week set new records for sales, and the shelves look like they’d been vacuumed clean. A Costco in Ottawa got the same style decimation on Friday, blocks of buyers, tp, bleach, sanitizer, high fat, sugar saturated processed junk food gone but some of the best healthy food supplies, the herd ignored.
A family member works for a Canadian hardware chain, they can’t keep any kind of mask on the shelves.
Asking the buyers if they know how to use them properly gets met with at best, `I’ll figure it out when it’s needed’. Offering to instructed the crazed buyer is rebuffed. Who is going to win here, the inexperience mask wearer or the virus?

I went to walmart to get a flash drive and walked through the food section, all eggs, breakfast sausage, most of the bacon and most of the deli cut meat were gone. The frozen food section had most of the frozen meals section bare although there were plenty of frozen Chinese meals. There was still plenty of the canned goods.

3/ There may be something in this man’s disappearance, but this report is yet another example of deficiencies in our educational system.
There’s no linear argument. Just a lot of garbled terms that sound sorta-like science, glued together with suggestive, sensationalized droplets of current events. That hit ALL the sweet spots on the political right.
