4. Mysterious Gas Leak That Killed 14 Close to Pakistani Nuclear Power Plant Sparks ‘Chernobyl’ Fears (sputniknews, Feb 18, 2020)

The deaths and continued increase in the number of people affected by a gas leak of unknown origin has raised concerns among residents in the Pakistani coastal area of Keamari as the city’s authorities have failed to identify the source of the gas leak and the type of gas involved.

 

Fourteen people have died and over 100 have been hospitalised in the Pakistani port city of Karachi since a mysterious leak of toxic gas in the air on 16 February, reports Dawn.

 

The reason for the gas leak and the type of gas involved has not yet been confirmed by the Pakistani government.

The police in the affected area earlier said that the gas leak was coming from a chemical container of a ship docked at one of the ports in the city.

 

The gas leak in the nation’s largest city and the country’s main commercial hub has turned out to be a significant challenge for the federal government.

Ransomware Impacting Pipeline Operations

This Activity Alert summarizes an incident to which CISA recently responded. It is being shared publicly to promote awareness and encourage mitigations by asset owner operators across all critical infrastructure sectors.

 

The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) responded to a cyberattack affecting control and communication assets on the operational technology (OT) network of a natural gas compression facility. A cyber threat actor used a Spearphishing Link [T1192] to obtain initial access to the organization’s information technology (IT) network before pivoting to its OT network.

 

The threat actor then deployed commodity ransomware to Encrypt Data for Impact [T1486] on both networks. Specific assets experiencing a Loss of Availability [T826] on the OT network included human machine interfaces (HMIs), data historians, and polling servers. Impacted assets were no longer able to read and aggregate real-time operational data reported from low-level OT devices, resulting in a partial Loss of View [T829] for human operators. The attack did not impact any programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and at no point did the victim lose control of operations. Although the victim’s emergency response plan did not specifically consider cyberattacks, the decision was made to implement a deliberate and controlled shutdown to operations.

9. France Sees Average of 120 Knife Attacks Per Day

As violent crime continues to surge across France, it is estimated that as many as 120 knife attacks occur on average per day across the country.

 

The figures, which come from the National Observatory of Delinquency and Criminal Responses (ONDRP), claim that between 2015 and 2017 there were around 44,000 victims of knife crime each year, or an average of 120 per day.

On average, 118,000 people in France say they were victims of some sort of violent crime involving an attacker who they were not living with such as assaults in public areas, schools, nightclubs, and other venues, Le Figaroreports.

Knives are the most common weapons reported in violent crime cases, followed by 34 per cent who say they were attacked with a blunt object or rock, and around nine per cent who were attacked with a firearm.

 

In cases of fatal violence, the trend remains largely the same, with edged weapons seen in 34 per cent of cases, followed by firearms at 28 per cent.

    The above statement reveals how incredibly stupid Bernie Sanders is. He’s running for President and he has absolutely no idea what the situation is in the Middle East. Why not be anti-Semitic when you actually believe that the Israeli Jews are murdering innocent children by the thousands for the crime of wanting to live free in their own ancestral land?

    You see? Bernie is so profoundly ignorant that he might well think pretty much anything.   5. Re Geert Wilders’ comments on antisemitism: it’s too bad the replies of the minister of justice were not included (he’s the same man who was recently attacked by Wilders over corruption in his ministry btw).

    The minister first answered that nazism originated in Germany and Austria, and had no connection to Islam. Pure deflction, because obviously antisemitism wasn’t invented by the nazis, and the influence of nazism on muslisms worldwide is well-documented. Moreover, antisemitism in the Netherlands doesn’t come from neo-nazis (who barely exist), that’s the elephant in the room.

    After the second question, the minister went on to praise communist resistance in the Netherlands(!), which is neither here nor there. And he seemed to lament the impopularity of communism nowadays, which is remarkable for a christian-democrat. I guess he’s not familiair with communist antisemitism (the Doctor’s plot, Marx’ antisemitic writings etc).

    In Canada, there is Sunni influence through Saudi and Gulf funding. There is Khomeneists influence by Iranian funding and support, such as Imam As’ad Jafri, who believes in the Islamization of Canada, America and the West. He told his followers “ We must not work for anything else of anyone else, we must work to establish the government of God.” He also believes that “Islam is not a regional religion for the Middle East, but for every place in the world. When Islamic values collide with the values of Canada, you have to choose the path of Islam.”

    How can Justine justify a mosque in Canada that incites young people to jihad and wants to become “lovers of death” be considered moderate?

    In Canada, the Canadian Council Of Imams is headed by Dr. Mohammad Iqbal Al-Nadvi who is also the president of the Islamic Circle of North America. His organization openly advocates in the stoning of gays, sexual slavery for woman, honour killing and the victory of Islam over the Jews and the non-believers. His organization has stated “Islam is incompatible with democracy.” So why is the Canadian Council of Imams commenting and explaining Islamophobia to the press?

    Justine Trudeau should be called upon to step down. Where are the rest of the politicians? Islam is a very large problem in Canada, the Muslims have infiltrated our system through Justine’s political correctness and his golobalist BS.

  7. FEMA, The Federal Emergency Agency’s “Strive” training program at the Corrallton, Texas Police Department focused on eliminating “violent extremism”. The representative at the training was asked at the end of the program why there was no mention in the entire two days about Islam, Shari’ah or Jihad. The answer given to the audience not shocking. “Shari’ah and jihad are too politically correct to discuss.”

    The day after Carrollton, Texas ended, the US attorney for the District of Colorado,
    Jason Dunn, hosted a misleading program in Denver entitled “Confronting Hate and Violent Extremism in the US”.

    The Denver program included Muslim Brotherhood hood / Islamic Movement operative and former DHS official, George Selina, who is now the Senior V P of Programs for the Anti-Defamation Leaque. This program also never mentioned Islam, Shari’ah or Jihad. The program did, however, detail the treat from “white supremacists”.
