Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

If there is, the government would not be doing any of this. The fact this program exists is all the proof needed to know it is a Neo-Marxist initiative. After all, will these people be chained to their alien rural landscapes by our Dystopian government? How long until the Muslima seeks her extended family for “reunification” in Toronto? Ten minutes? That’s her “human right”, don’tcha know. And who will provide the mosques in Red Deer Alberta or Armpit Manitoba so that our new friends can properly integrate?

    This country is going so post-national at such light speed it’s incredible. And it is so huge geographically, combined with the state now controlling the media agenda, that it is practically impossible for an average citizen to see the collective impact of the tax-payer funded social engineering megaproject now driven by our Dear Retard.

    If only his daddy could see him now he’d be so proud. Multiculturalism, Official Bilingualism, and the Metric system look so utterly harmless compared to this nightmare.

      • Indeed, ET, I truncated my tirade by omitting Agenda 2030, which contradicts this initiative only superficially. It dictates the herding of populations from the hinterlands to the cities where they are better controlled. How to square this contradiction? This program is just an excuse to increase migration with the full understanding that once admitted, internal migration will grow metropolises into ever-larger commie voting blocks sans the electoral college safeguards.

    A Syrian was killed and another was wounded when government supporters attacked American troops and tried to block their way as their convoy drove through an army checkpoint in northeastern Syria, prompting a rare clash, state media and activists reported.

    The U.S. military said its force came under fire, and that troops responded in self-defense. It said an investigation of the incident was underway.

    Syrian state-run media said the man killed was a civilian and that he was among residents of a village east of the town of Qamishli who had gathered at the checkpoint and pelted the U.S. convoy with stones.

    A video posted on state news agency SANA’s website showed angry men firing small arms at a convoy of several armored U.S. vehicles flying the U.S. flag. Some residents pelted the convoy with stones, while another dumped a bucket full of dirt on the back of one vehicle.

    In one of the worst incidents of violence against U.S. troops deployed in northeastern Syria, a small fire appears to ignite on an armored vehicle, apparently from fire bombs lobbed at the convoy. U.S. soldiers were seen standing in the middle of the melee, trying to disperse the crowd.

    Other videos showed another vehicle stuck in the dirt, apparently having veered into a ditch, while another had a flat tire. In one video, a resident walked up to U.S. soldiers at one of the vehicles, holding a U.S. flag, screaming: “What do you want from our country? What is your business here?” A soldier tells the shouting man to “back off.”

    At that point, American troops fired live ammunition and smoke bombs at the residents, the reports said.

    “Over the past decade, the number of cases of gender dysphoria among teenage girls has increased by almost 1,500 percent. Gender dysphoria is often aggravated by several psychiatric diagnoses and patients with such tendencies are more likely to commit suicide.

    The number of patients diagnosed with gender dysphoria, defined as severe distress due to a mismatch between their perceived gender identity and biological sex, has risen dramatically over the past decade, Sweden’s National Board of Health reported.

    While there is a marked increase in all age groups, both among children and young adults, boys and girls, young men and young women, figures have really gone through the roof for teenage girls. The number of girls aged 13 to 17 being diagnosed with gender dysphoria has increased by a whopping 1,500 percent since 2008.

    Among young men aged 18 to 24, the number of diagnoses has increased by 400 percent.

    The spike has left Swedish health professionals puzzled.

    “Yes, that the increase is clear, no doubt about that, however, we don’t know the reason for it,” National Board of Health investigator Peter Salmi told national broadcaster SVT.

    Furthermore, it is highly common for gender dysphoric patients to have several psychiatric diagnoses, such as autism, depression and anxiety disorders.

    The board’s survey also indicated that people suffering from gender dysphoria are at higher risk of suicide than the general population.

    “People with gender dysphoria who committed suicide also had very high incidence of concurrent severe psychiatric diagnoses, making it difficult to distinguish one from the other in terms of suicide risk,” Peter Salmi stressed.
    In 2018, there were a total 6,000 people, or 6 per mille of the population, diagnosed with gender dysphoria. The number is expected to increase in the coming years, as more and more people seek help and are being examined for gender dysphoria.

    A similar situation has been observed in neighbouring Norway and Finland. There, the spike was also centred on teenage girls and left professionals none the wiser.

    According to Mikael Scott Bjerkeli of the Harry Benjamin Resource Centre in Oslo, many teenagers apply for gender reassignment for the wrong reasons.

    “We are afraid that there is a contagious effect on social media, where little-nuanced images and hashtags fail to tell a true picture of what it means to switch gender,” Mikael Scott Bjerkeli told national broadcaster NRK, citing “echo chambers” with no possibility for a critical conversation, and an overall polarised and aggressive debate.

    A Finnish research led by youth psychiatrist Riittakerttu Kaltiala of Tampere University Hospital concluded that switching gender doesn’t necessarily solve the problem for young patients aged 13 to 18 struggling with mental disorders.

    “The majority of those who start taking hormones before they turn 18 in Finland find no mental relief in treatment. A small group is also feeling worse about themselves, both physically and mentally,” Kaltiala said.”

      “A foundation set up to guard academic freedom in Sweden has noted an alarming spread of relativism and radical feminism within the country’s most prestigious universities.

      A female political science student student at Lund University received the highest grade, A or “excellent”, for a thesis that proclaimed academic freedom and scientific objectivity just ways for the “patriarchy” to oppress women.

      According to the thesis called “The patriarchy’s academic freedom”, academic freedom, which is usually understood as freedom from influence, mainly favours men in academia, which makes “measures toward equality and the dismantling of patriarchy” more difficult.

      The mere fact that objectivity is sought in the research world is, according to the thesis, in itself an expression of patriarchy, which refers to “the structural subordination of the woman in relation to the man”.

      “Objectivism can be regarded as linked to male rationality and this methodological ideal is in this respect part of a patriarchal exercise of power”, the thesis said, as quoted by foundation Academic Rights Watch, whose self-stated goal is to guard academic freedom in Sweden.

      The thesis, which was presented for a bachelor’s degree in political science in Lund 2019, is based on the case of political scientist Erik Ringmar of Lund University, who was forced to quote female writers in his course literature, which prompted him to abandon the course altogether.

      The paper, which received the highest grade, was supervised by associate professor Dalia Mukhtar-Landgren and examined by associate professor Tony Ingesson, both active at the Department of Political Science at Lund University.

      “What is really alarming – and what we want to address – is how a young person is obviously trained in a far-reaching relativistic thinking that risks undermining all scientific activity, including her own”, Academic Rights Watch commented, noting the spread of relativism and radical feminism in academia.

      “The problem is also that more radical forms of relativism are incompatible with the university’s mission. After all, science means the rational search for truth”, the foundation concluded.”

    “Turkish forces operating in northwest Syria got in a shooting war with Syrian government troops this week after the shelling of a Turkish observation post in Idlib province. Syrian forces began an operation to liberate the militant-controlled province late last year after repeated violations of a regional ceasefire.

    Turkey has deployed special forces commandos to Idlib, Syria, Anadolu Agency has reported.

    According to the news agency’s sources, armoured transports containing special forces troops were sent to Idlib through Reyhanli, a city near the border with Syria in Turkey’s Hatay province.

    The Turkish military has also reportedly deployed multiple launch rocket artillery systems on the border with the Arab Republic.

    Moscow: Syrian Troops Fighting Terrorists on Their Own Territory
    Commenting on the situation in Idlib on Thursday, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stressed that Damascus had every right to engage in anti-terrorist operations on its own territory.

    “This is a matter of fulfilling the Sochi Accords and the obligations that the parties assumed in accordance with this document. Also, perhaps first and foremost, we’re talking about the fight against terrorism that the Syrian Armed Forces are waging on the territory of their country,” Peskov said, answering a reporter’s question on a possible US intervention in the Syria conflict.

    On Wednesday, US Special Representative for Syria Engagement James Jeffrey told Turkish media that Washington supported Turkey’s ‘legitimate interests’ in Idlib.

    On February 3, five Turkish troops were killed and five more injured in clashes with the Syrian Army, with Turkey responding by attacking Syrian army positions in the region. On Tuesday, the Turkish Defence Ministry claimed that dozens of Syrian troops, two tanks, an anti-aircraft installation and a munitions were destroyed. On Thursday, the Turkish military reported that it had ‘neutralized’ 55 more Syrian servicemen.

    Syria’s Foreign Ministry has vowed to continue fighting terrorist groups in Idlib and elsewhere notwithstanding Turkish threats, and has accused Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of supporting, arming and training terrorist organizations operating in the region. Damascus also reiterated that Turkey’s military presence on Syrian soil is illegal.

    Idlib is one of four de-escalation zones created in Syria through the joint efforts of Russia, Iran and Turkey in 2017. The region is believed to contain tens of thousands of terrorist militants, as well as hundreds of thousands of civilians. Late last year, the Syrian Army began an operation in the region after repeated attacks on Syrian military positions by militants claimed the lives of dozens of servicemen.”

    “SIX people have been found in the back of a lorry in Fareham, according to reports.

    Police were called this morning after a number of people were discovered in the back of a lorry on Military Road. A Hampshire Police spokesman said: “We were called just before 4am this morning to a report of persons in the rear of a lorry on Military Road, Fareham. Officers are at the scene.”

    Local media reported that there were six people in the back of the lorry.

    It comes after 102 migrants attempted to cross the English Channel last Friday.

    Five inflatable boats carrying individuals claiming to be from Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Syria were picked up by Border Force, the Home Office said.

    Nine of the migrants managed to get to a beach in Kent where they were detained by police.

    The 102 migrants are believed to be a new record for a single day.

    It came after 90 people were picked up on Thursday.

    Across the Channel, French authorities also detained “around 30 people”.

    Natalie Elphicke, MP for Dover & Deal, said: “It beggars belief that another flotilla of small boats got past the French again today.

    “These are serious security lapses and we need an urgent explanation from the French as to what they are doing to get a grip on this situation.

    “I am mindful that the search and rescue operations this week have involved all three border force vessels, RNLI lifeboats, HM Coastguard, a plane, a helicopter, ambulance services, police and much besides.

    “These are emergency services for the UK, diverted from vital day-to-day operations.”.

    On Friday, Border Force dealt with six incidents after being alerted to small boats that were headed towards the UK.

    In the first incident, at around 1am, an inflatable boat was intercepted which was carrying a group of 32 people – 26 men and six women – who presented themselves as Iranian and Iraqi nationals.

    At around 2.45am, a small boat was picked up which was carrying a group of 13 people – 12 men and one woman – who claimed to be Iranian and Afghan nationals.

    In the third incident, at around 3.55am, a boat carrying a group of 15 people – 14 men and one woman – who presented themselves as Iranian nationals was intercepted.

    At around 8am, Kent Police detained a group of nine people – eight men and one woman – claiming to be Iranian nationals at Sandgate Beach.

    In the fifth incident, at 10am, a Border Force vessel intercepted a boat with 10 men aboard who presented themselves as Iranian, Pakistani, Afghan and Iraqi nationals.

    In the sixth incident, at around 10.45am, a group of 23 people – 16 men and seven women – were found on a boat who claimed to be Iraqi, Iranian and Syrian nationals.

    Last October, 39 Vietnamese migrants were found dead in the back of a refrigerated lorry in Grays, Essex.”

    “Mayors and residents of Greek islands hardest hit by the country’s refugee crisis have protested in central Athens against government plans to build a network of detention camps.

    The officials called off a meeting that had been planned Thursday with the government and staged the demonstration outside parliament, joined by several hundred island residents.

    Lesbos, Samos, and three other islands in the eastern Aegean Sea are struggling to cope with severe overcrowding at camps for refugees and migrants following a surge in arrivals from nearby Turkey.

    The government earlier this week announced an initative to build detention facilities on the five islands, arguing that the move is vital to properly organize the registration of asylum seekers and deport migrants denied international protection.

    But island authorities are planning legal challenges and blockades at the sites where the new camps are planned to try to block construction.

    Stratis Kytelis, mayor of Lesbos capital Mytilene, said the protests had started after the government failed to fulfill a pledge to drastically reduce the number of migrants on the island over the winter months.

    “We don’t believe their assurances that all existing structures will be shut down,” Kytelis told the Associated Press.

    “People on the islands … opened their homes and gave what little they had to help (refugees) but unfortunately, because of bad policies the situation is now out of control,” he said. “Europe has put up walls against us, and trapped immigrants and refugees on our island.”

    A surge in migrant arrivals last year has caused serious overcrowing at existing refugee camps on the islands, with some 20,000 at a facility on Lesbos built to house 3,000.

    Migrants on the islands are forbidden to travel to the Greek mainland without special permission under a 2016 agreement between the European Union and Turkey, aimed at limiting the number of illegal crossings to Europe…”

    The People’s Council of Syria, the nation’s unicameral parliament, has backed a resolution condemning the mass killings of Armenians by the Ottoman Turks during WWI as genocide.

    Lawmakers have passed the motion unanimously, Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reports.

    They expressed sympathy for the Armenian people and recognised what they called the “systematic ethnic cleansing and massacre” of Armenians, Syrians and Assyrians by the Ottoman Empire, calling on the international community to condemn it as well.

    According to the most widely-cited estimate, some 1.5 million Armenians were killed and many more deported from the Ottoman Empire in what many scholars say amounts to a genocide. So far, 32 countries have formally recognised what happened at the time as a genocide. Turkey acknowledges that mass killings of Armenians took place during World War I and in the following years, but disputes the death toll and rejects the term ‘genocide’.

    The resolution was passed at a time when Syrian and Turkish government forces have found themselves on a collision course in Idlib, the last Syrian militant enclave outside of Bashar al-Assad’s control, currently held by the jihadist terror group Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham, the local branch of al-Qaeda.

    While troops loyal to President al-Assad and backed by Russia are advancing on the positions of terrorists, Turkey deployed its troops to Idlib, ostensibly to protect civilians and prevent an exodus of refugees.

    Syria has accused Turkey of supporting and arming terrorists in Idlib and condemned its military presence in the province as illegal.

    Turkey’s defence ministry said on Monday that it had shelled Syrian positions and killed 101 government troops in retaliation for the killing of five Turkish soldiers by Syrian army artillery fire. Last week, Ankara reported killing another 76 Syrian servicemen in response to an artillery strike that left five Turkisih troops dead.

    Russia, the main power broker in the region, blamed Turkey for the flare-up and accused it of failing to meet its commitments under the 2018 Sochi agreements, which envisaged a buffer zone in Idlib.”

    On 2 February, Lebanese broadcaster Al Jadeed reported that people had gathered outside the US embassy in Beirut’s Awkar suburb to protest against the Middle East peace deal proposed by the US administration. According to the news outlet, the demonstrators threw stones at the embassy building and tried to remove the barbed wire from its fence.

    Omar describes the legislative package, titled “Pathway to PEACE (Progressive, Equitable, and Constructive Engagement),” as “a bold progressive vision to rethink the country’s approach to foreign policy by centering human rights, justice and peace as the pillars of America’s engagement in the world, and making military action a last resort” in a press release. “I believe in a world where there are no young girls living through war, and no nations that are being destroyed,” she declared in the statement.

    She spoke about the bills at a panel discussion on Capitol Hill Wednesday, framing them as a globalized approach to U.S. foreign policy.

    “These sets of bills are not about a single country or singling out one particular country,” said Omar, who serves on the House Foreign Affairs Committee. “It’s about setting a common set of standards for the world.”

    One of the bills, the Congressional Oversight of Sanctions Act, would give Congress power to limit the executive branch’s authority under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act to declare national emergencies and place economic sanctions.

    “We need to restore congressional oversight,” Omar said. She explained that the bill “requires an explanation for what foreign policy goal is supposed to be achieved with the given sanction and what the process for delisting an individual, entity or country should be.”

    Omar has telegraphed her practical aims for this particular policy. In the past year, the freshman congresswoman has bucked bipartisan majorities to call for the end of sanctions on despotic regimes such as Iran and Venezuela. Last April, she accused President Trump of declaring a “fake emergency” at the U.S.-Mexico border, which allowed him to direct funding towards the construction of physical barriers.

    One of the first bills in the package similarly appears to have a singular target: the nation of Israel. The “Stop Arming Human Rights Abusers Act” would set up “red lines” for foreign nations based on “international humanitarian law,” and any violation would “automatically [trigger] a prohibition on security aid of any kind, arms sales including those controlled by the Commerce Dept. (tear gas, etc.).” While Israel itself is not mentioned in the bill, Omar’s overwhelming discussion of international “human rights” has focused on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Last year, when she was denied entry to the Jewish nation, she suggested that the U.S. should “leverage” its annual $3 billion in aid to Israel to “ensure full rights for Palestinians.”

    Another bill redirects defense spending – something Omar refers to as “military intimidation and coercion” – and gives it to the State Department.

    “[The] Global Peace Building Act… would authorize a one-time transfer of $5 billion dollars from the Pentagon’s Overseas Contingency Operation budget to the State Department to create a new multi-lateral peacebuilding fund,” she said.

    Her press release does not specify this entity’s relationship to the United States Institute of Peace, created in 1984 and funded annually by Congress. The institute describes its work as ” a vital investment in reducing violent international conflicts that threaten U.S. national security” in its latest budget justification letter sent to Congress.

    Two more bills would require the United States to cede authority and sovereignty to global institutions.

    Omar called it an “international embarrassment” that the United States has not signed onto the controversial United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.

    However, that agreement would severely undermine U.S. sovereignty, as explained in a legal white paper from Americans United for Life in 2010:

    Under Article VI of the United States Constitution, all treaties made “shall be the supreme Law of the Land.” Therefore, ratification of the UNCRC will make the document binding under American law and it would supersede any relevant, existing federal or state laws. This will also ultimately limit United States sovereignty by placing American family law and parental rights under international regulation and scrutiny.

    Omar also called on the United States to join the International Criminal Court, a global entity that President Donald Trump blocked from launching an investigation into alleged atrocities committing during the war between 2003 and 2004, including by U.S. troops, Afghan forces, and the Taliban.

    “Trump has denounced the ICC, the world’s only permanent war crimes court, for its ‘broad, unaccountable, prosecutorial powers,’” Reuters reported. “Washington revoked travel visas for ICC personnel in response to its work on Afghanistan.”

    Omar’s press release touts support for the bills from left-wing heavyweights like Ben Rhodes, former deputy national security advisor to Barack Obama.

    “Congresswoman Omar is putting forward an ambitious and comprehensive package that outlines progressive approaches to some of the most important issues facing the United States and our world today,” Rhodes said.

    Human Rights Watch’s Andrea Prasow praised Omar as a leader on the subject: ” With an administration that’s a no-show on human rights, it’s important that Congress press forward with resolutions in support of the most vulnerable, including children, migrants, and victims of atrocity crimes.”

    Omar and Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) were the first Muslim women elected to Congress once they won their races in the 2018 midterm elections. They are part of a small group of firebrand progressive freshmen known as “The Squad,” led by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and including Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA). Since her election, Omar has been mired in controversy, facing scrutiny for a 2012 social media post saying “Israel has hypnotized the world, may Allah awaken the people and help them see the evil doings of Israel.” Days after taking her oath of office, Omar spread a conspiracy theory that Sen. Lindsey Graham is “compromised” by sexual blackmail. The next month, she was denounced by senior Democrats for spreading antisemitic tropes that AIPAC influences U.S. foreign policy with bribes and pro-Israel lawmakers hold “allegiance to a foreign country.” She ultimately kept her seat on the powerful House Foreign Affairs Committee.

    More recently, Omar has been mired in more personal controversies. In late 2019, she filed for divorce from Ahmed Hirsi, the father of her children, amid swirling reports of an affair with Democratic operative Tim Mynett. She is now facing scrutiny for alleged campaign payments to his consulting firm. Likewise, long-simmering questions about her marriage to Ahmed Nur Said Elmi in 2009 — which critics have alleged was a marriage to her brother for immigration purposes — have reportedly reached the FBI.”

    Four federal prosecutors resigned from their case on Tuesday when Attorney General William Barr overruled the sentencing recommendation they made for Roger Stone, whom Robert Mueller had forwarded charges against involving “five separate counts of lying to the House Intelligence Committee and two charges of obstructing a congressional investigation and intimidating a witness.”

    Notably, the Justice Department’s lead counsel in the Stone case, Jessie Liu – the U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia – had recently turned over that role to Timothy Shea, because Ms. Liu had been nominated for a post at the U.S. Treasury. Liu was also the lead counsel for some time on the Michael Flynn case.

    On Tuesday, Trump withdrew the Liu nomination for the Treasury job, about the same time the four prosecutors, three of whom were members of the Mueller team, announced they were off the Stone case. Liu was previously scheduled for a Senate hearing on Thursday.

    The Hungarian minister called on the United Nations (UN) to put funding towards fighting global terrorism, calling on the international organisation to spend less on facilitating mass migration.

    “[W]e are calling on the UN to include the fight against terrorism in its budget, to spend more on the global fight against terrorism and less on migration, for the benefit of all the world’s citizens,” Szijjártó said.

    He went on to note that mass migration has been connected to at least 30 terror attacks since the migrant crisis in 2015, and proposed four steps to restore security in Europe, including defeating the Islamic State terror group, strengthening national borders, supporting communities fleeing terror, and having the UN recognise terrorism as a major threat to be dealt with.

    The minister went on to add that promoting mass migration could present “a very serious threat to the whole of humanity”, Hungarian news programme Hirado reports.

    Szijjártó specifically called out the UN Global Migration Compact, which he previously criticised in 2018, calling it an attempt to legalise illegal immigration.

    “The UN Compact is more dangerous, however, because it is a global initiative, meaning it will have a greater effect than [European] policy and represents a risk to the whole world,” he said.

    Hungary, along with several other countries including the United States, Australia, and Israel, rejected the migration pact, with another dozen countries abstaining from voting in December of 2018.

    Szijjártó has also been highly critical of the migration policies of the European Union, stating in September that the political bloc was attempting to “cram mandatory migrant quotas down the throats of European countries”.”

    The Grand Mufti of Jerusalem issued a fatwa prohibiting dealing with US President Donald Trump’s “deal of the century” and its promoters, Ma’an News Agency reported.

    Sheikh Mohammed Hussein released a bold statement today declaring whoever negotiates with the deal a traitor to God and His Messenger , and to the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, Jerusalem and Palestine.

    He stated that Trump’s so-called “peace plan”, which flagrantly violates international law, robs Jerusalem of its rightful owners, and deprives Muslims of their third most important holy site and the path of their Prophet.

    It stipulates that Jerusalem is the “undivided” capital of Israel, while Palestine would have limited control over scattered neighbourhoods in East Jerusalem.

    For Muslims, Al-Aqsa represents the world’s third holiest site, after Makkah and Medina.

    The “deal of the century” unilaterally annuls previous UN resolutions on the Palestinian issue and suggests giving Israel almost everything it has been demanding.

    Hussein stressed that the deal also came to nullify the right of the Palestinian people to live on their land in dignity, tightens the hand of the oppressors and supports them, as well as giving Israel most of the Palestinian land “scented with the blood of the noble martyrs”.

    Hussein continued: “It is flirted with sins, misdeeds and crimes, imposed by one party, and inconsistent with the simplest degrees of noble values, which confirms that whoever plans or supports this brute aggression, or is silent about it, deserves the curse of God, his angels and all people.”

    In his fatwa, Hussein called on to the whole world to work hard to stop the aggression against Palestine and sanctify it and its people, and support them, and refrain from working with this unfair deal, which is full of crimes and racism.

      Exclusive: Public health epidemiologist says other countries should consider adopting China-style containment measure

      The coronavirus epidemic could spread to about two-thirds of the world’s population if it cannot be controlled, according to Hong Kong’s leading public health epidemiologist.

      His warning came after the head of the World Health Organization (WHO) said recent cases of coronavirus patients who had never visited China could be the “tip of the iceberg”.

      Prof Gabriel Leung, the chair of public health medicine at Hong Kong University, said the overriding question was to figure out the size and shape of the iceberg. Most experts thought that each person infected would go on to transmit the virus to about 2.5 other people. That gave an “attack rate” of 60-80%.

    In addition, Ibn Mansur told his audience that they can have as many as four wives, even though he advises against it, and he explained that only Allah’s form of marriage matters and that it’s only illegal to have more than one wife on the wedding registry, but that it isn’t illegal to have multiple partners, because the infidels in the U.K. are so filthy that they don’t care how many people one sleeps with.

    He added that while some people say that getting married young may increase chances of divorce, it is nonetheless better to get married young and ultimately get divorced than to commit adultery at a young age.

    CNN omitted critical background details in its Wednesday article about one of the seemingly biased jurors on the Roger Stone trial.

    Stone, a longtime GOP operative, was convicted in November of 2019 on obstruction, witness tampering, and five counts of making false statements to Congress. Federal prosecutors recommended up to nine years in prison for Stone, 67, causing outrage among many – including the president.

    One of the jurors who voted to convict the Trump confidante, Tomeka Hart, was recently discovered to have run for Congress as a Democrat. Hart also frequently posted anti-Trump stories and wrote a Facebook post Tuesday in support of the four prosecutors who withdrew after a revision in Stone’s sentencing recommendation.

    CNN failed to include any of this critical background information on Hart in its article titled “Stone juror says she ‘stands with’ the prosecutors.” The article focuses only on Hart’s Facebook post and notes that she wants to “stand up” for the prosecutors who withdrew.
