A smattering of everything for February 4, 2020

1. Not saying this is what it is. But its still fun to see. From 2016 or before.

2. Italian Police Attacked with Bricks in Turin Migrant Centre

Eleven police and two army soldiers were attacked with bricks at a migrant repatriation centre in Turin over the weekend in just the latest case of violence at the centre.

The migrants in the centre tore bricks off the walls of a structure and climbed onto the roof of a housing module before raining the bricks down on police officers, wounding 13 people, Il Giornalereports.

The incident comes just a month after residents of the centre set the entire building complex on fire which caused thousands of euros worth of damage, destroying a canteen and several dormitories.

(And this is not an invasion, how?)

3. In Sweden, Just One in Sixteen New Migrants Have a Job That Isn’t Being Subsidized by Taxpayers

(Governments should, as a rule, not be distorting free markets with subsidies. That is the way to destroy nations and civilizations. The ‘renewable energy’ industries are a fantastic example of that. So far the technologies are wasteful, polluting as hell, really bad for the environment and require more power than they produce. They only exist because of massive state subsidies. Ontario is among the very worst for that)

The Swedish Employment service has revealed that just 6.1 per cent of new arrival migrants were able to find full-time work not subsidised by the government last year.

The figures further illustrate the failure of new migrants to Sweden, which has one of the most generous welfare states on earth, to find real work while the vast majority remain totally unemployed. The number reflects those migrants who have been in the Employment Service’s establishment programme for at least 90 days and is down from 2018 which saw 6.6 per cent of migrants in work not subsidised by the government, Swedish broadcaster SVT reports.

4. Some official news on Wuhan Flu consequences. While its quite likely that things are worse than are stated here, it is certain they are not overestimating the issue. So in terms of knowing the truth this is at least a floor upon which an understanding can be built.

5. If there is a cabinet position for the 2nd amendment I hope this guy gets it

6. Five Mosques Used as Iowa Caucus Sites for First Time in American History

Five mosques were used as Iowa Democrat Caucus sites for the first time in United States history in an attempt to drive up voter participation among Muslim voters.

On Monday evening, five mosques in the Des Moines, Iowa, area were approved as official caucus sites to increase Muslim voter participation. Iowa has a Muslim population of about one percent.

7. Paris metro passengers stop anti-Jewish harassment

Passengers on subway train stop 4 Arab men who were pursuing, harassing Jewish man.

Passengers aboard a metro train in Paris stopped four Arab men from pursuing a Jewish man they were harassing over his faith, the victim said.

The incident late Saturday night unfolded as the train approached the Jaures station in northeast Paris, the National Bureau for Vigilance Against Anti-Semitism, or BNVCA, reported Sunday.

The four men asked a Jewish man wearing a yarmulke for a cigarette, said the report based on the man’s testimony. When he said he didn’t have one, one of the men told him: “You Jews have enough money to buy some.”

The Arab men then cornered the man against the wall of the train car, but he escaped. The men pursued him but were blocked by other passengers.

8. The left has one main rhetorical weapon. That is spewing threats, hate and violence while trying to create cognitive dissonance by accusing their victims of those same things.

Over the weekend, Scott Presler and his crew headed to San Francisco to do a little community service (a/k/a clean up trash, used needles, human feces, and more from the streets) and partnered with the San Francisco GOP. Yes, there is such a thing as a San Francisco GOP, and they’re actually gaining membership. That could be because their chair, who is also challenging San Fran Nan, actually stands up to bullies.

That chairman, John Dennis, was confronted by Antifa thugs during the cleanup (as was Presler). Before getting to that confrontation, it’s worth noting some of the disgusting conditions they saw.

9. Not a good sign for Russia: Russia blocks ProtonMail and ProtonVPN

Proton Technologies suggests using Tor to bypass the block

UPDATE: Proton Technologies has told TechRadar Pro that ProtonVPN is not blocked in Russia, and has suggested users connect via one of its servers outside of Russia to access ProtonMail. The company added it is reaching out to, “the appropriate authorities” to get the block lifted as soon as possible.

The Russian government has blocked access to Proton Technologies end-to-end encrypted email service ProtonMail as well as to the company’s VPN service ProtonVPN for failing to comply with local laws.

In a press release, Russia’s telecommunications watchdog Roskomnadzor explained why it decided to block access to the company’s services, saying:

“This email service was used by cybercriminals both in 2019 and especially actively in January 2020 to send false messages about the massive mining of objects in the Russian Federation under the guise of reliable information.

10. Spokesman For Violent Islamist Group Arrested on War Crimes Charges, Was in France on Student Visa

French authorities have arrested a former spokesman for an armed Syrian Islamist group for complicity in war crimes who was in France on an Erasmus student visa.

Investigators arrested Majdi Mustafa Nameh, who was using the alias Islam Alloush, in Marseille last week on torture and war crimes charges. On Saturday, Islamist group Jaysh al-Islam demanded his release, newspaper Le Figaro reports.

Thank you M., Wrath of Khan, JR., EB. ET., EW., @Amymek, Richard, and all who sent in materials and there are many wonderful people who do every day.

China appears to be filling exhibition halls with beds …

In China, they are filling exhibition halls with beds, and we have a government hell-bent on breaking the quarantine and ignoring precautions for feelings, and tear-jerking cases.

Reality Vs. Pseudo reality:

The responder has likely never even read the koran. Yet he pompously presumes to know what is islam, and what is a corruption of it. This is a rather excellent example of the imposition of a pseudo reality on reality to the detriment of us all.

  1. If things are bad enough that China is using exhibition halls into emergency hospitals and telling the world what they are doing things are a lot worse then people think.

  2. “The responder has likely never even read the koran. Yet he pompously presumes to know what is islam, and what is a corruption of it.”

That more of us should die.

    • You should see the video clips I’m seeing from China. OMG!

Everywhere, in school gymnasiums, conference halls, I mean everywhere, they are converting to virus isolation units. The problem is the beds are so close to each other, even if someone has a lung-related problem will be contaminated. They are lacking in test kits.

They are going through entire villages, barricading them. Massive numbers of police cars to keep people in, even for one small village.

Most companies have been ordered to shut down for one month. The whole nation is going full-dead economically.

Which brings us back to what most of us said early on, aka a lab virus. Through mutations, China has totally lost control and no cure is in sight.

We are witnessing the downfall of the CCP regime, in slow motion.

P.S.: British Columbia announced another case. In my opinion, there are many more cases in Canada, especially in B.C., but there is a clamp-down – Internet or otherwise – on full disclosure. The government allowed, for weeks on end, entry to Canada from China and Wuhan of many flights without isolating people.

      • You are right the CCP is in massive trouble, they have had the Swine Flu, the Wuhan Flu and then Bird Flu. Yucki said that the Japanese were saying that the CCP had lost the Mandate of Heaven with just the first two. The Bird Flu was another nail in their coffin.

I read or watched a report that said that the pandemic won’t peak until April or May, if that is right China will have to keep the towns and cities isolated and the factories shut until several months after the peak.

There are other ramifications besides the collapse of the CCP. The collapse of the Chinese economy will also collapse the economies of several of their client states. The biggest to fall because of the lack of Chinese money will be Iran, and it is unlikely that Putin has enough spare cash to pick up the slack in what Venezuela and Cuba are getting from China. By letting Iran and Venezuela fall he can save Cuba but not any other Chinese Clients.

What is going to happen in Greece?

What is going to happen in the other South American nations China has been bribing?

Then what is going to happen in Japan, both Korea’s, Nam and the other neighboring nations? They are already shutting down factories because of the lack of parts that China makes what will happen over the next 6 to 9 months?

        • American Republican Party is saying it’s no different than the flu so why panic about mass deaths? You know they claim ‘only weak & elderly die from the flu’.

          • With a claim like that, a supporting link from other than the Workers Daily would be needed.
