3. China now has a SECOND disease outbreak. The H5N1 Bird flu is back, and China is culling chickens
February 1:
China reported an outbreak of a highly pathogenic strain of H5N1 bird flu at a farm in Shaoyang city of the southern province of Hunan, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs said on Saturday.
* The case occurred on a farm with 7,850 chickens, 4,500 of which have died of the bird flu.
* The authorities have culled 17,828 poultry following the outbreak. (Reporting by Judy Hua and Se Young Lee)
4. Bill to ban transgender surgery for minors advances in South Dakota
(Some sanity in the USA?)
A bill aiming to ban sex-reassignment surgery and puberty-blocking medication for minors in South Dakota cleared a House committee Jan. 22, and is set to be debated in the House of Representatives.
HB 1057 would make it a Class 1 misdemeanor for doctors to dispense puberty-blocking drugs to those under the age of 16 for the purpose of changing or affirming the perception of their sex, and lists a number of surgical procedures including castration, vasectomy, and hysterectomy that doctors would not be allowed to perform on minors.
The bill was set to be debated in the House on Monday, but the House deferred the debate to another day.
The South Dakota Catholic Conference announced its support for the measure Jan. 16.

6. Coronavirus: China accused of ‘burning bodies in secret’
(I partially agree with CBC. Corona Virus means nothing. It should be called the Wuhan Flu)
World health officials, back from a visit to Beijing, expressed great concern that a dangerous new virus was spreading between people outside of China, even as the number of illnesses continue to grow dramatically inside that Asian nation.
The new virus has now infected more people in China than were sickened during the 2002-2003 severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) outbreak. On Wednesday, the number of cases jumped to 5974, surpassing the 5327 people diagnosed with SARS.
The death toll, which stood at 132 on Wednesday, is lower than the 348 people who died in China from SARS.
Doubts have been raised about the official death toll, however, with claims Chinese authorities have been cremating bodies in secret.

9. House Climate Chair Calls For Google To Censor ‘Climate Deniers’
(This is so evil, I had to have this checked before I would post it. And yes, its true)
Shame on Rep. Kathy Castor (D-FL), who is chairperson of the House Select Committee on the Climate Crisis. She demands that Google censor videos that promote “climate denial and climate misinformation.” What happened to the First Amendment, Kathy? ? TN EditorThe chair of the House Select Committee on the Climate Crisis was accused Wednesday of censorship after calling on Google to take action against YouTube videos that promote “climate denial and climate misinformation.”
Rep. Kathy Castor, Florida Democrat, asked Google in a Monday letter to remove “climate disinformation videos” from YouTube’s “recommendation algorithm,” demonetize videos that promote “harmful misinformation,” and correct the record for those exposed to such “misinformation.”
“YouTube has been driving millions of viewers to climate misinformation videos every day, a shocking revelation that runs contrary to Google’s important missions of fighting misinformation and promoting climate action,” said Ms. Castor, who requested a response by Feb. 7.
Google, which owns YouTube, has yet to comment publicly, but climate skeptics were outraged, charging the congresswoman with attempting to shut down debate on climate policy by silencing dissenting voices, no matter how knowledgeable about climate science.

9c. Its worse in Canada: Broadcasting report constitutes a stunning overreach
The concept of a free, unfettered internet through which Canadians can speak, learn and communicate without permission of the state was blown apart this week by a series of invasive and unjustifiable recommendations.
The Broadcasting and Telecommunications Legislative Review Panel’s report tabled Wednesday didn’t just call, as many feared, for the extension of broadcasting-content regulation to the internet. It advocated for a sweeping series of interventions that would make all online media – from online sites such as Rabble to Rebel News and in any language – subject to government regulation.
For more than 25 years, an unfettered, profoundly democratic internet has thrived in Canada. Online entertainment providers have created unprecedented levels of prosperity within a creative sector that has grown from a $5-billion industry to almost $9-billion in the past decade. Print media have struggled to transition to online distribution but, while many have added video, they haven’t remotely challenged the traditional definition of broadcasting. Meanwhile, many new and innovative platforms have launched; YouTube has produced unsubsidized stars such as Lilly Singh and Justin Bieber and created, according to a Ryerson University study, 24,000 jobs. All of this without the protection of the regulated “system.” […]In other words, if you transmit, for commercial purposes, words, video or voice through the internet, text messages, fax or phone line, you will do so only with permission of a federal agency.
(Under Obama, with his department of CVE, this would have been done. It may have been done anyway)
Here is the best thing on what drives climate that I have found. Maybe download it for Samizdat purposes.
10. Brad Johnson discusses the old Chinese Koran trick
Thank you all who have contributed so much this weekend already. Some interesting things in the works still, including a particularly offensive set of statements about Jesus and Mary from a muslim preacher. Not even sure if I should post it, but if someone in the West says anything like that about Mohammad, we know what would happen so… may as well I suppose.
Do you think a lot of this current world wide censorship is partly a result of Jacinda Adern’s and others response to the Christchurch shooting. Remember how she went to Europe (Paris) and conspired with world leaders to stop criticism of their mass migration schemes.
I’m pretty sure this is a result of the commies capitalising on the mosque shooting to advance their international socialist agendas.
And the general public are mostly unaware how much they’ve been hoodwinked.
“Leaders from around the globe, including British Prime Minister Theresa May, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Jordan’s King Abdullah II, signed the “Christchurch Call,” which was unveiled at a gathering in Paris that had been organized by French President Emmanuel Macron and New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern. Amazon, Facebook, Google, Microsoft and Twitter also signed on to the document, pledging to work more closely with one another and governments to make certain their sites do not become conduits for terrorism.”

Ardern’s a nasty piece of work.
She jumped on that episode with such enthusiasm, you’d think she set it up. Her agenda was activated before the smoke cleared.
2- He looks like a drama teacher.
6- or call it Kung-Flu.
2- He could star in a Canadian remake of The big Lebowski.
When Trudeau’s hung over he reverts back to that annoying side-to-side head-waving. He should go back to the finishing classes he took in 2015.
7- David and Goliath.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goliath
There will be no peace without justice in Dystopia, or anywhere, as long as we have corrupt power mongers like Dear Leader.
Was David foolish to fight Goliath with a spear, a sling and a few rocks? Perhaps, like Ezra, he had become numb to the fear of the Philistines. I sense the same in the tones here. My own tone, for that matter. I get angry as hell at what I see and read. I say bring it on. Yucki says be careful what you wish for, and she is right. Be careful. And yet day after day we wake up to a seemingly greater amplitude of riots in Germany or France, or censorship at home, or crazy sexweapon politics, or infuriating moral inversions used to nudge the goal posts a little further left each time.
The transformational process the Neo-Marxist architects use as a blueprint is like a desert wind. I think it erodes the sand blanket of normalcy covering every little rock. We are the rocks. Our layer of normalcy is becoming thinner and thinner. Depending of where you live, you feel greater or lesser degrees of chaos. My Hungarian cousin hates Orban, calling him corrupt, but enjoys an incredibly civilized and relatively placid life in Budapest because of Orban. And I cannot help but believe that this cousin, who is older, must harbour nostalgic feelings towards the good ol’ days under communism. I also know he has never lived anywhere else and doesn’t trust foreign food. He doesn’t see the blanket of normalcy that covers him.
If you live in a rural area in a western country you get a bit of a physical buffer from the desert wind, so you mostly read about it or watch it in action online. If you have school-aged children you’re more exposed through them. If you live in San Francisco, apparently, you get fecal matter everywhere. If you live in my neighborhood, you go to the discount store with your boys for fun on a Saturday and see a hulking grown man dressed as a woman in a dress and a red wig shopping for clothes. What an ugly broad that guy was.
Fact is, normal people don’t do chaos and war very well. Most need peace or else they end up having a nervous breakdown. It isn’t coincidence that my relatives who lived under communism aged faster despite there being a bad imitation of peace going on. Like now. Just because there’s no physical gun pointed at your head doesn’t mean you’re not worn down by the threat of suppression. Not everyone is tough like Ezra, and the enemy knows it. We are forced to fight, flee, relent, or die.
Ezra says, “…I’m not radical, they’re radical…one of us is deeply, deeply wrong…”
Truer words were never spoken. How can one of you, the one who is so “…deeply, deeply wrong…” even entertain the notion of winning your argument before a judge? (Spoiler alert: the one who is deeply wrong has weaponized the “process” into punishment, itself.)
And when a member of your own country’s Supreme Court rolls her eyes at unqualified free speech I’d say our David had better start recalculating odds on how his argument goes over against a lower-court judge.
Ezra fights the good fight because there’s no choice in the matter, and he’s equipped. But if the institutions that were set up to protect the underdog are corrupted, then the underdog is dead. You Americans better hang on to your First and Second Amendments. Those really are the last line of defense. Anyone who rolls their eyes at the droll hillbillies who believe in those two God-given rights are too sophisticated for their own damn good.
There is only one Rebel News and only one Ezra. I think he will become larger and profoundly relevant in Dystopia the longer he fights. He is starting to resemble a Dystopian proxy for the first and second U.S. constitutional amendments, combined.
Getting angry is appropriate, self-defense is the only way our kids – and our civilization – have a future. With anger tempered like steel, and conviction of right purpose, we become mighty as a multitude.
I just argue for strategic engagement. Figure where, how, and with whom you’re going in. Fix your target in your sights, then give it your best shot.
David was expert in slingshot weaponry. Lithe and scrappy, the shepherd defends the flock from predators. David knew exactly where to aim his stone – the vulnerable gap in Goliath’s armor. He chose the moment – when the sun was in the giant’s eyes.
I hope Ezra’s thought out this particular fight. He’s smarter than all of them put together. Besides, his cause is righteous and they’re godless commies.
My last trip to the “big city”, I went into a shoe store, looking for a pair of black flats. A sweet, young girl looked after me. While I was trying on some different styles in came a tall, maybe 6 3, very good looking man dressed in a grey flannel suit, I rated him a ten.
He sat across from me and asked the girl if he could try on the red high heels in the window, size 11ish. He paraded back and forth in the heels and finally said he would take them, and left.
The girl was visibly shaken and told me she was so happy I was there. I told her I wanted to sing “Put on your red dress baby, we’re going tonight”. We both laughed. That was my freaky Friday shopping adventure. My normal day is watching the birds, turkeys, a fox who lives up the bluff, and the deer.
10 – Very interesting. Reminds me of a book I came across on Amazon on the subject of world powers manipulating the ummah. Rile them up and let them loose on your enemy, one of the 19th century Czars thought that was a wonderful idea. The West did it too, of course, soviet invasion of Afghanistan and all that. And a similar thing is happening in Syria.
It also reminds me of the narrative of a “european islam”. A pipe dream that some “progressive” politicans talk about, and unintentionally pisses off the average muslim in Europe. Can you imagine Frans Timmermans writing his own version of the Quran? Hahaha.
The only thing that comes close are the “muslim laws” found in Greece, set up to control the muslim minority that wanted to stay after the Ottomans were kicked out. The greek state trains and appoints imams, which is against EU regulations btw.
