1. New York State has new socialist version of the “old look up in the sky trick”
Imagine this: You’re out with your family in one of the parks in New York state where you can actually see the stars when it gets dark. You look up in the sky, see a constellation, and you point upwards to show your kids. Along comes a park ranger demanding to see your Stargazing Permit, and issues you a citation because you didn’t know you needed such a permit.
That’s right, the state of New York is now demanding us peasants give them money so we can look up at the sky.
(It may not be as screwy as it looks. The permit is apparently so you can go into parks and so on after dark after they are closed. I can sort of see how that makes the parks safer for people who want to enjoy the night sky, especially in sanctuary cities.)
2. Well doesn’t this explain a lot!
3. WOW! Who is SHE!?
Clearly a lot of thinking people have had enough of the comintern EU.
3. Man receives five-year jail sentence after young girl forced into sex trade
TORONTO — A Newmarket judge has sentenced a 26-year-old man to five years in prison after he was found guilty of forcing a young girl to work in the sex trade four years ago.
York Regional Police said that one person had been taken into custody in 2016 after officers determined that a girl under the age of 18 was being forced to work in the sex trade between the months of July and October.
Ferhat Tekin was charged with a number of offences in connection with the incident, including trafficking a person under 18, making child pornography, obtaining sex services and distributing child pornography.
On Sept. 24, 2019, he was found guilty of those charges.
Tekin received his sentence Thursday at the Ontario Court of Justice in New Market, police said.
(The above is the entire text of the story. This shows how the Canadian media lies by omission and is likely covering up another muslim sex-slave gang as we see in the UK everywhere. There was simply no way that a program like that does not metastasize across the Western world when leftist governments have made such fertile ground for it)
4. Three charged following Hay River drug trafficking investigation
Three people are facing trucking trafficking-related charges after an investigation led by Hay River RCMP turned up illicit drugs and cash.
Hay River RCMP, along with members of the Yellowknife RCMP, arrested nine people in Hay River on Jan. 23, according to a news release issued by RCMP Monday.
Cash and “illicit street drugs” were seized as a result, states the news release.
Six of the nine individuals arrested have since been released as police continue to investigate, say RCMP.
Police are not identifying the type of drug seized as to not compromise the ongoing investigation, media spokesperson Julie Plourde later told NNSL Media. […]
Farhan Hussein, 30, Zuhayr Maie, 26, and Liban Abdi, 26, all from Edmonton, have each been charged with one count of trafficking a controlled substance. They also face one count each of possessing property obtained by crime.

8. Vancouver: People are travelling with containers on their heads at YVR (PHOTOS)
(Could she be joining the Marines?)

While it isn’t uncommon to see people wearing face masks during an outbreak, some people take more extreme measures to protect themselves.
Earlier today, Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry confirmed B.C.’s first novel coronavirus case. A man in his 40s who lives in the Vancouver Coastal Health region and recently returned from a trip to Wuhan, China.
Despite this, Dr. Henry says the risk of infection of the virus in B.C. is “still extremely low.” Nevertheless, some people are still concerned about contracting the virus in the Lower Mainland.
A person was photographed at Vancouver International Airport wearing what looks like a plastic container on their head and a mask over their mouth. In an image from the back, it appears that the person has cut a hole into the container in order to make room for their ponytail.

The man known as ‘Mr Clean’ who is tasked with cleaning up the streets of San Francisco and tackling its homelessness crisis has been charged with corruption, after an FBI probe.

In his role, Nuru, 58, is tasked with keeping the city of San Francisco clean, including cleaning up trash, removing vandalism, repairing sidewalks, and tackling the city’s homelessness crisis.
He has been charged with one count of wire fraud for allegedly attempting to bribe an airport commissioner to win a bid for a restaurant contract at San Francisco International Airport.
Thank you ML., M., Wrath of Khan, Sassy, EB., Johnny U., Richard and all who contributed to this effort this week so far.
Ezra Levant of the Rebel secretly recorded police interrogation of him over his book on Trudeau. Canada is in trouble.
1. Permits – Knowing the history it does make sense to require permits.

Ezra Levant interrogation :
If Mr Levant had broken the law he would have be arrested and charged.
I believe talking to the investigators was an error. Why help the police. Those guys are fishing for something, a motive for publishing the book perhaps, a conspiracy, anything that can be used against Mr Levant.

Hubert Wagner, you make a valid point. Ezra’s willingness to engage in battle makes him both heroic and vulnerable. The mistake he makes is calling his situation Kafkaesque, which is to say it resembles absurdist fiction. This it is not. Rather, it is more accurately neither fiction nor absurd. It is the forming Soviet reality of a formerly-free nation, captured now by Neo-Marxist globalist forces. Emboldened by a spectacularly pliable, docile populace, these forces make strategic moves both furtively and in broad daylight. From purchasing the integrity of media with taxpayer money, to signing the country up to bankruptcy via bogus anthropogenic climate-change policies, the dystopian-like endeavors of a supranational elite now in control of this country and very serious.
Stealing a nation and its people is such artful thievery that it cannot be imagined by most people, let alone believed. Look at Sweden for the future of Dystopia. Look to the EU for the theft, then negation, of nation states.
But Ezra is no fool. He banks on his high profile for protection. I hope he is right. Because we know how sneaky and brutal the Soviet communists were, and the newest iteration is moving at light speed.
How many people will be scared into silence if Ezra disappears?
How many will be scared into action if Ezra disappears?
This is indeed Soviet or Maoist tactics, you aren’t allowed to criticize the leader. The way your constitution is set up the left doesn’t have to crook the elections to remain in power. The left is feeling so secure in iits power that they are still allowing elections but how long will it take before they stp holding elections while the Prime Minister is alive?
He was hyper and not thinking clearly. He should’ve gotten up and walked out. He decided to grandstand to make a point for his audience.
This wasn’t the place to do it. These are lackeys, he compromised himself for peanuts. Not the strategy I’d expect from as seasoned a lawyer as Ezra.
I agree. It’s always a mistake to talk to the police. Any word can be misconstrued and then they go on a fishing expedition and deep in the hole you go. You end up needing a lawyer.
If there are no official charges against you, all communications with the Police must be in writing.
Don’t Talk to the Police
8- I think these peoples’ suits are missing some parts. Here is what they’re supposed to look like:

Kafkaesque is precisely the right term. Read or watch ‘The Trial’, it matches closely Ezra’s situation. From cops on the beat, using ‘powers’ they don’t in fact have, to high courts inventing infringements of non-existent laws, the criminal justice system has turned inside-out.
“Libranos” isn’t for sale at Chapters
Isn’t that interesting?
It’s available at Amazon.ca for a few dollars on Kindle.
It’s not available at the local libraries either.
The Libraries fell to communism years ago.
