2. Syrian Orthodox Church in Sweden Under Guard After Series of Suspected Arson Attacks
Following several suspicious fires, members of the Syrian Orthodox St Maria’s church in Norrköping say they will begin patrolling the area around the church at night to avoid further potential attacks.
The move comes after the church received a fire alarm on Sunday night as a fire had broken out in the assembly room of the church, the second suspicious fire in a month according to Isa Gergin, spokesman and caretaker for the Syrian Orthodox Church, SVT reports.
“On the third of December, it was the same. Someone had poured gasoline on the outside and lit it. But the emergency services were quickly in place,” Gergin said.
Commenting on Sunday’s fire, Gergin said: “We have not gone through all the damage yet, but the building has survived and internally it is only smoke damaged.”
(If any of our readers are in the insurance business, ideally an actuarial, I would really like tis know if Churches can even get fire insurance anymore)

4. Montreal kicks in $1 million for de-radicalization centre
The City of Montreal is contributing nearly $1 million to the Centre for Prevention of Radicalization Leading to Violence.
The $975,000, which is in addition to $225,000 that the city granted the four-year-old organization this past spring, will allow the Centre to carry out its 2019-2020 action plan, the city said in a statement.
The funding follows the Centre’s recent announcement that it will be adjusting its mission slightly in order to take a more community-based approach to de-radicalization, said Rosannie Filato, the Montreal executive committee member responsible for public security.
“(The Centre’s) objectives will now be to focus and personalize their interventions on at-risk people and those around them,” Filato said, adding that the Centre will also soon have a dedicated board of directors and new leadership.
(I vote that the entrance gate to this centre should read: “Consensus will make you free”)

Germany’s flagship carrier Lufthansa said on Friday that its group airlines were canceling flights to and from Tehran until Jan. 20 inclusive due to the uncertain security situation of the airspace around the Iranian capital.
Lufthansa said the move was a “precautionary measure” and it would decide if and when its flights to Iran would resume when it had more information.
US officials said on Thursday that the government believed Iran accidentally shot down a Ukrainian airliner shortly after Iran fired missiles at two US military bases in Iraq, while Iran was on high alert.

The Trump hater quickly opted for a change of scenery.
11. United States government-funded phones come pre-installed with unremovable malware
At time of original publication, we were not yet able to replicate the malware Android./Trojan.HiddenAds being dropped on our test device, though multiple users had reported that a variant of HiddenAds suddenly installed on their UMX mobile phone.
As of today, we are now able to report that our UMX U683CL test phone has become infected with a variant of HiddenAds we detect asAndroid/Trojan.HiddenAds.WRACT. This variant has been observed in the wild since spring 2019. It runs silently in the background and does not create an app icon. Evidence of its running in the background can be seen in the mobile device’s notifications. A notification box that changes its title name is highlighted below in red.

12. Glacier National Park removes signs predicting glaciers would be “gone by 2020”
National Park spokeswoman Gina Kurzman said the signs were put up over a decade ago, reflecting forecasts from the U.S. Geological Survey at the time.
A national park in the United States has been forced to remove signs saying the park’s glaciers will be “gone by 2020” due to global warming, as the park still boasts 26 glaciers.
Glacier National Park in Montana said that the most visible warning of the glacier’s imminent demise had been removed by late 2019, with the remainder to be taken down shortly.
National Park spokeswoman Gina Kurzman said the signs were put up over a decade ago, reflecting forecasts from the U.S. Geological Survey at the time.

1 – A trial run to see what happens, there will be more recon probably covert on this and all other locations where President Trump spends time. I doubt that the Iranian leadership are stupid enough to make an attempt at Trump but they will probably commit other attacks when they think the sleepers can get away clean leaving no sign of who carried out the attack.

4- What a waste of money. The haughty ignorance of those who propose “deradicalization” programs only show us the people holding the purse strings to finance such things are dangerously naive. Prior to occupying such government jobs applicants should now be required, on their own time and dime, to study counter-jihad materials. While they’re at it they can learn about communism as it evolved in the west post-1945, as a culturally-focused strain of the disease extra-Soviet. Read Diana West.
As if a kafir is going to show a tard the light. Consider any tard who displays criminal or ideological behavior as human waste, deport, and move on to the next. In other words any one of them who has not autonomously abandoned this dime-store religion.
Deradicalization: where a half-baked lefty attempts to reform a fully-baked tard, restoring the psyche deficiencies that they, themselves share. Pretty rich. Absent father figures fixed by a magic rainbow pill.
How about “deradicalizing” we the whole–the red pilled? Is this not what our progressive betters desire? Now this would be more productive. Sit us down under those blazing reprogramming lamps and let the fun begin. By the end of the session the reprogrammer will have their fuses fried. Alas, this is our civilizational struggle in a nut shell.
11- Nothing except dissidents can be trusted coming from Red China.
Twitter- is actually playing catch-up to the progressive agenda well-ensconced in our schools. No open discourse has been allowed since my kids began. Now, like the child informants under fascism or communism, snowflakes rule with iron fists. Without exaggeration, and without a long story, snowflakes are human ideological roadside explosive devices. One wrong word in the hallway or classroom and one finds oneself on trial. Virtue-signalling teachers pump postmodern pablum into these minds, free of the accountability they so deserve for mass producing little monsters.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I just returned from southern Florida—-in 1987 a prof of Environmental Ethics told the class , all of Florida would be under water by 2015!
I am waiting for CBC to tell us the sky is falling.
