Its difficult to trust actors since, well their profession is to deceive by careful study of how humans communicate thoughts and then communicate thoughts they don’t actually have.
But this is still refreshing even if it is a scam of some kind.
Directors can also be difficult to trust. There is quite an interesting little segment in the book, “Exposing the Real Che Guevara” by Fontova about Steven Soderbergh who made a fair amount of Soviet propaganda about Castro’s murderer and torturer in chief. If I am understanding this passage correctly, he did not release the film about the man who called himself, “Little Stalin”, until his wife viewed it and approved. Something I am pretty sure he would not do should he make a film about Ronald Raegan or Donald Trump.
That could have been about The Motorcycle Diaries though, which actually omitted an awful lot from the actual Ernesto diaries cause, well its brutally racist and fascist.
As Homer Simpson would say, ” it’s funny because it’s true”.
The best part of this is that the bloated carcass in each seat of that auditorium thinks it’s laughing at the person beside it, rather than itself.
