3. “Unfathomable tragedy” as fire kills more than 30 animals at German zoo
A fire at a zoo in western Germany in the first minutes of 2020 killed more than 30 animals, including apes, monkeys, bats and birds, authorities said. Police said the fire may have been caused by sky lanterns launched to celebrate the new year.
Several witnesses reported that they had seen the cylindrical paper lanterns with little fires inside flying in the night sky shortly after midnight Wednesday near the Krefeld zoo, Gerd Hoppmann, the city’s head of criminal police, told reporters. “People reported seeing those sky lanterns flying at low altitude near the zoo and then it started burning,” Hoppmann said.
Police and firefighters received the first emergency calls at 12:38 a.m. The zoo near the Dutch border said that the entire Ape House burned down and more than 30 animals, including five orangutans, two gorillas, a chimpanzee and several monkeys, as well as fruit bats and birds, were killed.

2 – In this war of survival we have spent way too much time reacting to the enemy and way to little time making them react to us. President Trump is making the react to us, when the war first started President Bush made them react to us and we easily destroyed the nations that were providing money and training to the terrorists. Then the Democrats and their willing allies in the Propaganda Press pushed and instead of taking advantage of our victory to crush the enemy we stepped back and let them reform. After that we have been playing wack a mole by attacking the positions that attacks were launched from instead of going after the people who are funding and directing the attacks.
Trump is fighting the war to win, you win wars by crushing the enemy and destroying their will to resist. You do this by breaking things and killing people who are in charge of the enemy. Without their leaders in nations that are funding and directing the terrorists the fighters will be easy to track down and kill. We must shift from fighting a defensive war to fighting an offensive war and fighting to win instead of fighting to limit the damage and build nations. You can rebuild the enemy nations and turn them into allies but before you can do this you have to crush them, make them realize that it wasn’t our mercy that left them alive it was shear dumb luck that kept us from killing them. That they have a building to live in becaue our occupation forces don’t want to keep driving and walking around through the rubble we left of their towns and cities. Once you have done this you can rebuild their nations into at least semi civilized nations.
