Authorities are investigating whether Grafton Thomas, the man charged in a machete attack on Hanukkah celebrants in Monsey, is tied to a recent stabbing near a village synagogue, a law-enforcement official told The Post on Sunday.
Details of the incident under investigation were unclear, but a 30-year man was beaten and repeatedly knifed while walking to the Mosdos Meharam Brisk Tashnad religious center in Monsey around 5:30 a.m. on Nov. 20, the Journal News reported at the time.
The victim, a father of four, was so badly brutalized that cops were initially told he’d apparently been hit by a car, officials said.
Ramapo Police Chief Brad Weidel told reporters that the man was “approached from behind by one or more individuals” and stabbed with an unidentified weapon that wasn’t immediately recovered.

After years of violent criminal activity with numerous arrests for such things as “assault” and “violation of a protective order”, Nicole Marie Poole Franklin (aka Nicole Franklin, aka Nicole Poole) from Des Moines, Iowa has finally gained the notoriety she has been desperately seeking.
Poole allegedly hit two children with her car on December 9 in reportedly racially-motivated assaults committed shortly after she smoked Methamphetamine and robbed a gas station, where she evidently said mean racist things, making her eligible for a “hate crime” enhancement.
The IRS placed a tax lien on Hunter Biden seeking $112,805 in unpaid taxes from 2015, according to records the Daily Caller News Foundation obtained.
The federal agency issued the previously unreported lien in November 2018 and it seeks unpaid taxes for a year in which Biden, the son of former Vice President Joe Biden, served on the boards of the Ukrainian natural gas company Burisma Holdings and the Chinese private equity firm BHR Partners.
“We have made a demand for payment of this liability, but it remains unpaid,” the IRS stated in the lien notice, which it filed with the Washington, D.C., Recorder of Deeds. “Therefore, there is a lien in favor of the United States on all property and rights to property belonging to this taxpayer for the amount of these taxes.”

An Islamic State terrorist faction in West Africa claims it killed 11 Christian aid workers in Nigeria in retaliation for the killings of IS leader Bakr al-Baghdadi and his spokesman in two separate U.S. military operations earlier this year.
The terrorist group known as the Islamic State in West Africa Province released a 56-second video published by the IS propaganda media arm Amaq that shows the shooting of one man followed by the beheading of 10 others.

Two men aged 30 and 42 have been arrested after three young women found tablets hidden in a takeaway kebab.

Letts’s parents, organic farmer John Letts, 58, and Sally Lane, 57, a former Oxfam fundraiser, became the first British parents to be charged with terrorism offences after sending money to their son in Syria.
