Two dead one critical.

This is a developing story and will be updated.

Two people are dead and another is in critical condition after a reported shooting at a church in White Settlement.

Multiple agencies are responding to 1900 South Las Vegas Trail in White Settlement, where the West Freeway Church of Christ is located.

 

MedStar spokeswoman Macara Trusty confirmed that one person died at the scene of the shooting, one person died en route to a hospital, and another person was transported to a hospital in critical condition.

 

A Fort Worth Fire Department spokesman Mike Drivdahl said the agency sent out an “active threat” assignment about 11:30 a.m. and was at the scene to assist White Settlement police and fire.

  3. Note the difference in the two attacks, in the Texas attack the murder got off two shots and was shot multiple times by several members of the Congregation. In the New York Attack the murder used what is probably a sword to attack and kill several people while the unarmed bystanders could do nothing. All gun control does is disarm the victims.

    I say this was a sword of some type because words have meaning, machete means one type of blade and is actually a member of the sword family. One of the reports I read said the blade used was a big as a broom handle which would probably mean it was some type of a two handed sword. I realize that most people don’t care about what type of blade was used but as I said words have meanings and the left is working to change those meanings and coarsen the language.

    • You make a good point, Richard. Literacy is a great strength of the Left. Their nuanced use of language gives them power through manipulation. Right-thinking brains just don’t get their kicks the same way, and maybe this a salient difference between us.

    For the left to create the dystopia they think will be utopia they first have to destroy all of Western Civilization. To destroy Western Civilization they have to destroy the Christian Foundation that our culture and civilization was built from. The goal of their actions is to make the Western Nations so chaotic as to be ungovernable, In part they are doing this by making the nations increasingly violent while disarming the law abiding citizens thereby making them nothing but victims. This disarmament program has succeeded to a greater extent in the nations of Europe or in the large cities of the Coastal Regions on North America.

    The Middle of the United States was the frontier region until into hte 1920s and 30s, the large cities were part of the “civilized” regions but the rural regions were still (to a varying degree) living according to the Frontier codes of conduct.

    The difference in the two regions is still apparent in the resistance to the Gun Control plans in Virginia and in the two attacks on religious centers this weekend.

    Virginia (and the vast majority of the Southern States) deliberately kept the frontier attitudes and the code of the Highland Clans especially in the rural areas. Thus the reaction when the people who were elected turned on those who elected them and said they were going to seize the firearms belonging to the voters. The reaction was fast and loud, the people said no way they wanted to stay armed. We are still waiting to see what the Dem politicians (part of the moneyed elite from the coast regions or wannabe coastal elite) are going to react to the “common” people resisting the actions of the elite.

    In the two attacks on the religions centers note how in New York the disarmed victims could do nothing to stop the attack while in Texas armed people fought back and limited the number of good people who were killed and injured (one in each category).

    It has been a long time since the areas inhabited by the Coastal Elite in the US were the wild frontier and even longer since the European areas were wild Frontier. Now thanks to the left’s importing massive numbers of people from the Third World Nations and teaching them to think that the Europeans are going to support them in luxury for the rest of their lives. Every place on Earth is now the wild frontier. If we are to survive we need to relearn the skills that tamed the wild frontier and to change our attitude towards what the government is allowed to do. No frontier society that depended on the government for everything survived. The frontier societies where people relied on themselves, their family and their neighbors thrived.

    To keep our freedom and enough of the old civilization and culture so we can build a new civilization and culture it is vital that we learn the old skills. We must shed the attitudes that the left has forced on us and relearn to think for ourselves. We must learn to distrust the news because the people who are telling us are people with biases of their own, biases that may and often will put them at odds with out goals. We must relearn that like fire government makes a good servent but a poor master and that letting the government get enough power to give you everything is letting it get enough power to take everything from us.

    We must become the frontiersmen of the new frontier, the new frontier is our old civilized nations that we let the left get enough power to destroy. We must relearn that the government can’t protect us from ourselves and our neighbors, we have to be able to protect ourselves from all enemies.

    As we relearn the old survival skills we must remember that we are losing civilization and the rule of law but we aren’t losing technology and that our fears of what the new and old tech can do are based on reality. We must learn all of the above is we are to give our descendants the freedom our forefathers gave us.

    • Thank you for illuminating this “environmental” shift. The frontier-US bought Alaska and Louisiana+ . I was floored when Trump proposed we buy Greenland because this was a kind of hearkening back to the practicality of being on the frontier.

      • Besides the natinoal security issues that would become critical if China or Russia bought Greenland there are a lot of untouched mineral deposits on Greenland.

      • As I said Texas, New Mexico and Arizona were still frontier areas into the 1930s, the Texas Ranger that tracked down and killed Bonnie and Clyde is suppose to have killed 40 men or more during his career as a law Officer. He said the only killing tht bothered him was Bonnie and that she was the only woman he had killed.

        John Dillinger was captured in Arizona and they had no problem holding him mainly because they were use to dealing with ingenious gun handy men. When he was sent back to the “civilized” portion of the states he either tricked or bribed his way out of jail.

        On You Tube you can search for the 13 episode TV series 26 Men it is a highly fictionalized story of the Arizona Rangers. They were formed twice and were then disbanded for budget reasons, The last time they were formed was in the 20th Century and were ordered to tame Arizona so the other states would vote to let them become a state. They used the frontier attitude that a dead trouble maker is peaceful so most of th em didn’t go out of their way to bring the criminals in alive. The producer of that show and several others was an native to Arizona who acted in many early westerns. He heard all the stories of the Arizona Rangers when growing up and may have known some of the men who wore that badge. I posted the Marty Robbins song “Big Iron” in the readers link it is about an Arizona Ranger going after an outlaw.

        I stress the history because it plays a big role in how the modern descendants of the people who moved to the frontier will act pushed too far. One thing most people who aren’t from the country culture don’t realize is that it wouldn’t take too much to bring several feuds (think Hatfields and McCoys) back into full open war. That Scottish Clan attitude is alive and well in the Mountain region of Virginia and the other Southern and Midwestern mountain states.

        • I don’t knock clans. “Tribalism” is not necessarily bad.
          Nations were just agglomerations of tribes, after all.

          We’ll have to sacrifice some of the benefits of diversity – there have to be some, right? – then we might rediscover substantive bonds that have frayed.

    Meanwhile a Christian is rushing to the scene, live streaming, saying it is Christophobia, and that if you you shoot one Christian it as if you shoot all Christians…

    As always, the facts are most important.

It is a simple statement of fact that the only possible way to stop a sudden surprise attack like the New Zealand mosque attack or the New York Synagogue attack would be for one or more persons with a concealed carry permit and some kind of training to shoot the murderer. There is no way in hell the police are going to get there in time or are going to be brave enough to rush right in and start fighting. Only a good guy with a gun stands a chance of stopping one of these attacks and that is an incontrovertible fact. How is it not? Same with school shootings and baseball game shootings and PTA meeting shootings. All the same… I’m sorry if this sounds terribly “right-wing” but it happens to be the obvious truth. Nothing else works – especially not “gun-free zones”…

        • I knew they were pushing Biden to be the nominee but hadn’t thought out the reason why. Who would they like to see as President? Biden has said he would pick a woman so think about the people that he has to pick from, Warren, Gabbard, Hillary, the black that dropped out and Pelosi. The only other one would be Michelle Obama and she is suppose to be resisting all efforts to get her to enter the race.

          That idea is very though provoking.

          • This theory would fit with Pelosi stalling sending the impeachment papers to the Senate and Biden initially saying he wouldn’t honor any subpoena to testify at the impeachment trial.

    • Note how some of the reports say an armed security guard stopped the shooting and how others (and the video) say it was armed members of the Congregation who fought back. The left will go to any lengths to stop people thinking they can protect themselves.

  10. The root of the problem is our Government is forcing moslems on us. Without that pressure they wouldn’t need the police state they’ve already built. The budget needs to be spent and increased yearly. An amount of killing is tolerated to justify the increase. Their hearts & prayers are going out to you but the inflow of moslems & their problems are still coming.
