I live in a rural area, 1/4 mile from nearest neighbor and ALWAYS answer the door carrying my 45. Also carry it when out in the yard. CC a smaller gun when out and about. Fortunately live in a state that is gun friendly.
Virginia constitution:
Article I – Bill of Rights
Article I contains the entire original Virginia Declaration of Rights from the 1776 Constitution. Several of the sections have been expanded to incorporate concepts from the United States Bill of Rights, including the right to due process, the prohibition against double jeopardy, and the right to bear arms. Like the Federal Constitution, the Virginia Bill of Rights, in §17, states that the listing of certain rights is not to be construed to exclude other rights held by the people.
When I was promoted to NCO the first thing I was told was to not give any order that I didn’t have a reasonable expectation of being obeyed.
How many Guard members are going to obey the orders to seize firearms from their neighbors and family, also how many guard members have privately owned semi auto firearms in their houses?
The Dems are doing all they can to foment a Civil War, once it starts they are going to discover that the vast majority of the 30 million vets in the US support the Constitution and the President. If they push hard enough they will get the pros to show them what real violence is like, the amateurs of Antifa, BLM and BMN can be used as the test dummies for the exercise.
Virginia is a beta test.
Yup it is a test case. Be sure and check the readers links for 12-14-19 I posted an article about a town in New Jersey that has declared itself a 2nd Amendment sanctuary city. That has to be worrying the gun grabbers.

“USMCA “Trade Agreement”, the North American Union, an Article V convention, and Red Flag Laws: Connecting the Dots” by Publius Huldah – December 13, 2019
1:contrary to what is taught in many schools the first Constitutional Convention was not a run away convention, it was tasked with either amending the Articles of Confederation or writing a new Constitution. after much argument it was decided that the Articles of Confederation couldn’t be saved.
2: At Constitutional Conventions when voting on possible amendments each state gets one vote on each amendment. It doesn’t matter how large the delegation the states send when it is time to vote they get one vote per amendment.
3: Any Amendments that are voted out of the Convention don’t become part of the Constitution until 38 states vote to ratify them. There is no way you are going to get 38 states to vote to throw out our rights. The rumors about giving away our sovereignty and our rights was started by the people who are afraid that an Article 5 Convention will right amendments that will limit what the Deep State can do.
The largest ‘mass shooting’ and/or ‘massacre’ occurred during a US government-endorsed gun confiscation ‘for the protection’ of those from whom the guns were being confiscated: in the end, there were nearly 300 unarmed people dead, including women and children.
Also remember, the Bundy Ranch standoff was ended when the feds saw the first gun among the Bundy protesters aimed their way: they were not willing to have another Ruby Ridge or Branched Davidiens situations on their hands, so, when the very first gun on the Bundy side showed up, the feds stood down.
That is the power of our current communications and gun ownership combined – never underestimate it, never give up your natural rights!
