2. Sweden Shuts Down Islamic School Due to Radicalisation Concerns

The Swedish School Inspectorate has revoked a Gothenburg Islamic school’s licence due to concerns that pupils may be exposed to radical Islamic ideology.

 

Authorities closed the Safirskolan school after its former owner, Abdel-Nasser el Nadi, had been detained by the Swedish security police (Säpo). Säpo recommended he, and several other Islamic radicals, be deported from the country on national security grounds, Nyheter Idag reports.

 

While a new individual did take the helm of the school, which was formerly called Vetenskapsskolan (the Science School), the inspectorate determined that the new head was still close enough to el Nadi that the school risked “being subjected to radicalisation and recruitment to environments that accept violence or serious crime as a method of political change”.

(It seems highly unlikely that Sweden would or could do anything substantive to stop islam being taught authentically anywhere in Sweden. This feels like a pre-election story)

3. Court orders new investigation for straight man who alleged discrimination at work

(The only way the Canadian HRCs will ever care about any real discrimination based on any of its criteria is if there is a ton of public scrutiny on it. Marc Lebuis of Point De bascule brought a case to them of an imam in Quebec that violated even the criminal code’s definitions of hate speech, and they simply refused to act on it. So it will be interesting to see how they dodge this case)

TORONTO — A Federal Court judge has ordered Canada’s human rights watchdog to re-investigate claims from a former CIBC employee who said he was discriminated against on the job because he wasn’t gay.

 

In a ruling from September, Madam Justice Janet M. Fuhrer scrapped an earlier ruling from the Canadian Human Rights Commission that dismissed complaints from Aaren Jagadeesh, who is straight, and ordered a do-over lead by a new investigator.

 

Jagadeesh alleged that, back in 2015, his manager told him in a one-on-one meeting that every male manager “in both his office and headquarters were either gay or bisexual” and that was “why young employees with little qualifications were promoted.”

(Anecdotally, I have heard from other ranking members of large and influential corporations, that they had to at least claim to be a sexual outlier in order to even keep their existing positions, let alone be promoted.)

4. Jersey City Shooting Live Updates: 6 People Killed, Including Officer

Two people opened fire on Tuesday afternoon at a kosher market. There was “no indication of terrorism.”

 

At least six people, including at least one police officer, were killed in Jersey City, N.J., on Tuesday in a series of gunfights that brought destruction to a kosher market and made a residential area feel like a war zone.

 

Officials said the dead included three people in the market as well as two suspected shooters. The slain police officer, Detective Joe Seals, was a longtime veteran with the Jersey City Police Department, according to Chief Mike Kelly.

 

Officials believe the detective was killed at the cemetery trying to intercept the two suspects who later opened fire on police officers inside the bodega.

There was “no indication of terrorism,” an official said at a news conference.

5. Fox and Friends host Pete Hegseth is ‘BANNED from Twitter’ after sharing anti-American ‘manifesto’ of Pensacola shooter Mohammed Alshamrani

Fox and Friends host Pete Hegseth said he was banned from Twitter Saturday after he shared an anti-American manifesto said to have been written by Pensacola shooter Mohammed Alshamrani. 

 

The TV journalist, 39, posted screenshots Sunday which showed his tweet, calling the actions of the gunman ‘Islamist terror’, was ‘no longer available’. He followed up with a picture of his appeal regarding the decision. 

Saudi military student Alshamrani, 21, killed three people and injured 12 when he opened fire at Navy Station Pensacola on Friday. 

 

Hegseth shared a grab from the shooter’s Twitter account Saturday, writing: ‘Here’s the (now blocked) tweet from Saudi Islamist Mohammed Alshamrani, who murder 3 brave Americans in Florida. 

(Twitter clearly thinks it has the right to force people to think it’s way because it thinks that it can)

        Never in history has a more dangerous man been a contender for leadership of any Western democracy.

        Corbyn has consistently sided with those that wish us harm. When IRA terrorists bombed the Cabinet at Brighton, his response was to invite two convicted volunteers of the murderous organisation to the House of Commons.

        And when Russian assassins were sent on a murder mission to Salisbury, Corbyn failed to condemn the Kremlin and called for further proof of state-sponsored involvement.

        He calls Hamas and Hezbollah his ‘friends’ and appeared to take part in a ceremony honouring a terrorist involved in the Munich Olympics massacre.

        He said the death of Bin Laden was a tragedy and wanted the leader of IS arrested not killed. The same with British jihadists Mohammed Emwazi and Sally-Anne Jones.

        His deputies John McDonnell and Diane Abbott demanded the closure of MI5, the security agency that protects us from terrorists.

        With Corbyn as PM how could our allies trust us with their most sensitive secrets?

        The US and Israel, vital sources of life-saving intelligence, have reluctantly drawn up plans to restrict co-operation in the event of a Corbyn premiership.
