IDF estimates: Islamic Jihad will keep firing rockets
…The IDF believes that the Islamic Jihad intends to continue the rocket fire on Wednesday morning in a fashion similar to Tuesday’s, and is likely preparing for several days of fighting according to the number of rockets in its possession.
Zilberman added that Hamas has not been involved in the rocket fire so far and all casualties are from the Islamic Jihad organization, of which 10 members were killed.
He said that another Iron Dome anti-missile system was completed on Tuesday and the defense system has been improved according to the situation.
In a joint decision, it has been decided to try and get the school systems back on track as much as possible and there are various attempts to reach a ceasefire.

IDF airstrike kills senior Islamic Jihad terrorist
One terrorist was killed and several others injured after Israeli fighter jets bombed a terror cell in the Gaza Strip Wednesday morning, Arab media outlets reported. The Islamic Jihad terror organization later reported that the terrorist killed in the airstrike was one of its members.
According to a report by the Palestinian Authority mouthpiece WAFA, Israeli F-16 fighter jets opened fire on terrorists southwest of Gaza City Wednesday morning, killing one “martyr” and injuring several others.
An Israeli army spokesperson later confirmed that Israeli aircraft had opened fire, saying that a terrorist cell responsible for launching rockets at Israel had been hit in the airstrike…
The Palestinian Authority now claims that a total of 11 Gazans were killed by Israeli attacks since Tuesday morning, including Islamic Jihad arch-terrorists Baha Abu al-Ata and his wife, who were killed in a targeted strike before dawn Tuesday.
The IDF reported that a total of 220 rockets have been fired at Israel from the Gaza Strip since the fighting began early Tuesday morning.
Israel’s Iron Dome missile defense system has fired dozens of interceptor missiles to shoot down the incoming rockets, an IDF spokesperson said, with a hit-rate of about 90%. The IDF spokesperson added that some 60% of the rockets fired at Israel landed in open spaces.

SECOND FIDDLE
Islamic Jihad is the smaller of the two main Palestinian militant groups in the Gaza Strip, and is vastly outnumbered by the ruling Hamas group, but it enjoys direct Iranian backing, both financially and militarily, and has become the driving force in rocket fire and confrontations with Israel.
Hamas, which seized control of Gaza in 2007 from the internationally recognized Palestinian Authority, is often limited in its ability to act because it bears responsibility for running the day-to-day affairs of the impoverished territory. Islamic Jihad has no such considerations, and has emerged as the more militant faction, occasionally even undermining Hamas’ authority.
The group was founded in 1981 with the aim of establishing an Islamic Palestinian state in the West Bank, Gaza and all of what is now Israel. It is designated a terrorist organization by the U.S. State Department, European Union and other governments.
Tuesday’s killing of Abu el-Atta was the first high-profile targeted killing of an Islamic Jihad figure by Israel since the 2014 war in the Gaza Strip….
THE IRANIAN CONNECTION
Iran supplies Islamic Jihad with training, expertise and money, but most of the group’s weapons are locally produced. In recent years it has developed an arsenal equal to that of Hamas, with longer-range rockets capable of striking central Israel’s Tel Aviv metropolitan area.
Though the militant group’s base is Gaza, its leadership is also based in Beirut and Damascus, where it maintains close ties with Iranian officials. Another alleged Israeli missile strike on Tuesday targeted Akram al-Ajouri, one of its top officials in Syria.…

Since seizing power in 2007, Hamas has fought three wars with Israel, often with support from Islamic Jihad fighters.
But Hamas has largely upheld an Egypt and U.N.-brokered truce with Israel in recent months in an effort to improve conditions for the territory’s 2 million residents.
In recent months Islamic Jihad’s militants have challenged Hamas by firing rockets, often without claiming responsibility, to raise its profile among Palestinians while Hamas maintains the ceasefire.

Germany: Five asylum seekers rape 14-year-old girl+++
Last Friday but one, a 14-year-old girl is said to have been the victim of a sexual offence in a community in the southern Alb-Danube district. The public prosecutor’s office and police are investigating five suspects. According to information from the investigating authorities, the 14-year-old met the suspects on Halloween night in Ulm, one of whom she knew better. She apparently agreed to go with them. She later told her parents and then the police that she had been raped in the home of one of the suspects. Police have now identified all five suspects. After successful investigations, police searched four apartments in Stuttgart and a Filstal and Illertal municipalities last Friday. The 14 to 26 year old suspected asylum seekers were temporarily arrested. On Saturday, the responsible magistrate issued arrest warrants against two 16 and 26 year old suspects at the request of the public prosecutor’s office in Ulm.A 15-year-old guy was provisionally arrested today, Tuesday. The judge in charge also issued an arrest warrant against him at the request of the public prosecutor’s office in Ulm. Two other suspects, aged 14 and 24, are at large. Investigations by the criminal investigation department are still in progress.

An alleged American member of Islamic State, stranded for a second day on the border between Greece and Turkey after Turkey expelled him, is “not our problem”, the Turkish president, Recep Tayyip Erdo?an, has said.
The man, named by the Turkish news agency Demiroren as Muhammed Darwis B, is believed to be a US citizen of Jordanian descent. He was deported on Monday as part of Turkey’s controversial new policy to deport foreign jihadists in its custody.
A Turkish official told AFP that he had refused to be returned to the US and instead asked to be sent to Greece. Athens said he was refused entry when he tried to cross the no man’s land between the two countries to the Greek town of Kastanies. He is reported to have spent the night outside and witnesses said he has been trying to shout to reporters on the Turkish side of the border.
Asked to comment on the reports on Tuesday, Erdo?an said: “Whether [the deported Isis fighters] are stuck there at the border it doesn’t concern us. We will continue to send them. Whether they take them or not, it is not our concern.”
Speaking to reporters in Ankara on Tuesday, Erdo?an threatened that Turkey could release all of its jailed foreign militants and send them to Europe.
“You should revise your stance towards Turkey, which at the moment holds so many Isis members in prison and at the same time controls those in Syria,” Erdo?an said, addressing European countries.
“These gates will open and these Isis members who have started to be sent to you will continue to be sent. Then you can take care of your own problem.”
The Turkish leader’s remarks come in the wake of a fresh push to repatriate some of the 1,200 foreign Isis fighters in Turkish detention centres and 287 captured recently in Syria, including those who have been stripped of western citizenship in an attempt to prevent them returning home.
The interior ministry spokesperson ?smail Çatakl? said on Monday one US citizen, believed to be Darwis, had already been repatriated and seven German nationals would be flown home on 14 November. Preparations to deport two Irish citizens, as well as French and Danish nationals, were also under way, he said.
Turkey has not given total numbers and nationalities of those it is planning to send home, or details on how such a policy will work, particularly regarding stateless individuals. Many countries request passenger lists for both military and commercial flights before a plane is allowed to enter their airspace.
Germany’s foreign ministry confirmed that a German citizen had been returned to Berlin from Turkey on Monday, and that a further nine would be deported later this week. The suspects’ alleged links to Isis are still under investigation by Germany.
British diplomats said the policy did not appear to apply to UK citizens in Turkey at this time. Aine Davis, a member of the cell known as “the Beatles”, who beheaded hostages in Syria, is serving seven and a half years in a Turkish prison.
The British woman Tooba Gondal is also believed to be in Turkish custody, having escaped a Kurdish-run detention centre in the chaos caused by Turkey’s invasion of Kurdish-held Syria last month.
While Turkey has quietly deported members of Isis for years, Ankara has now brought the issue to the fore after facing condemnation from European allies over its assault on US-backed Kurdish fighters across the border in Syria, which Ankara considers a terrorist threat.
Turkey was also angered at an EU decision on Monday to impose sanctions on the country over its drilling for gas in disputed Mediterranean waters off Cyprus.
Erdo?an is due to visit Washington on Wednesday, where he is expected to discuss the fate of foreign fighters caught in Isis ranks.
A further 90,000 men, women and children with links to Isis are currently held in Kurdish-run detention centres in Syria. Analysts and military strategists have warned that Ankara’s invasion of northern Syria risks destabilising the detention camps and lead Isis to regroup.

“A tiny municipality in southern Sweden has stirred up a hornet’s nest with a new commercial proclaiming that it’s a safe neighbourhood, where ordinary Swedes can live and prosper.
Staffanstorp Municipality in Skåne County has incurred the enmity of mainstream media with its new commercial.
The film opens with a black and white scene from a dingy city full of graffiti, where some rowdy youngsters are seen harassing a mother and her daughter. The family then proceeds to move to Staffanstorp, where colour returns, and they get a new lease on life.
“Dreaming of improvement and striving for a better life is nothing but a sign of health”, the narrator says. “There are municipalities where security, elderly care, schools, and businesses really work. Where the inhabitants are proud of their municipality”, the narrator continues, adding “We welcome you with all our heart”.
The ad ends end with a slogan: “Staffanstorp, as the rest of Sweden should be”.
Staffanstorp’s ad coupled with the municipality’s previous combative stance against mass immigration has sparked polarising reactions. Representatives of Sweden’s mainstream press, which is mostly liberal, spared no accusations.
Moa Berglöf, former speech-writer for the Moderates’ former party leader Fredrik Reinfeldt and now an opinion writer for the newspaper Sydsvenskan, linked the film to a recent outbreak of violence in Malmö, when an immigrant teenager was shot, and called it “the most cruel thing” she has seen in a long time.
“So while Malmö is in mourning, the Municipality of Staffanstorp is looking to put up a commercial that … I don’t even know. This is the most cruel thing move I have seen in a long time”, Berglöf tweeted.
Last week, Berglöf attacked Staffanstorp in an opinion piece, calling the municipality “blue-brown”, blue being the colour of the Moderate party which calls the shots there, and brown referring to the brown shirts of Nazi Germany.
The Nazi trope was utilised by her fellow journalists as well.
“Genuine domestic art … blond und boden”, Dagens Nyheter’s political editor Per Svensson tweeted, referencing concepts that were popular in Nazi Germany, such as “blood and soil”.
Furthermore, many found the fact that all the actors representing Staffanstorp staff were white disappointing, lamenting the perceived lack of diversity. Some even accused the municipality of promoting white flight.
“People read too much. We do not register ethnicity, we do not think about what skin colour people should have when we make advertisements”, the municipality’s strong man Christian Sonesson told Expressen.
“What is strange is that a family looking for security can irk opinion journalists to a degree when they pay more attention to the film than real, tragic events that happen”, Sonesson told the news outlet Nyheter Idag.
Massive Support as Well
By contrast, many on the right were excited about the film.
“Fantastically nice commercial for Staffanstorp. Describes the situation of many Swedes and their quest for a safe life in a secure society”, Sweden Democrats MP Björn Söder wrote.
“The thing with the Staffanstorp’s movie is that virtually every normal person is likely to find it quite sympathetic, while the establishment becomes hysterical over it. The latter’s reactions are a very useful reminder of the different worlds these groups live in”, a user mused.

HONG KONG, Nov 13 (Reuters) – Hong Kong prepared for more clashes on Wednesday as anti-government protesters paralysed parts of the Asian financial hub for a third day, with some transport links, schools and many businesses closing after an escalation of violence.
Protesters and police battled through the night at university campuses and other locations only hours after a senior police officer said the Chinese-ruled city had been pushed to the “brink of a total breakdown”.
Police fired tear gas at protesters overnight in multiple locations as activists blocked roads, torched several vehicles, hurled petrol bombs at a police station and metro train and smashed up part of a shopping mall.
The flare ups come after police on Monday shot an unarmed protester at close range and a man was doused with petrol and set on fire in some of the worst violence since protests began more than five months ago.

Some Chinese students are worried about their safety as tensions escalate and protesters clash with police on campus
Hundreds of mainland Chinese students fled across Hong Kong’s border into Shenzhen Wednesday, seeking temporary shelter in hostels, hotels and relatives’ homes after days of heightened violence on several university campuses in the city.
Groups of undergraduate and postgraduate Chinese students enrolled at Hong Kong universities packed their bags and left by bus, ferry or high-speed rail. Some said they were worried about their safety and made last-minute travel plans on the advice of friends, local professors and school administrators. Hong Kong police said they had arranged for police boats to ferry students who wanted to leave but were hampered by blocked roads in parts of the city.
The total number of Chinese students who left couldn’t be determined, and there are many who have chosen to stay in Hong Kong. There were 12,322 full-time students from mainland China in the eight biggest publicly funded universities in Hong Kong in the 2018-19 school year, according to statistics from the University Grants Committee. Separately, more than 100 Taiwanese students made arrangements to fly home with the help of Taipei’s Economic and Cultural Office in Hong Kong, according to Sophia Ma, a deputy director of the organization.

Authorities working to contain outbreak of disease that is worse than bubonic plague
Two people in China have been diagnosed with plague, the latest cases of a disease more commonly associated with historical catastrophe.
Plague is caused by the bacterium Yersinia pestis and can arise in three forms – a lung infection, known as pneumonic plague; a blood infection, known as septicemic plague; and a form that affects the lymph nodes, called bubonic plague.
The latter form is perhaps the most famous, and was behind several pandemics including the Black Death of the late middle ages, which is estimated to have killed up to 60% of the European population.

Uighur researchers say China running more camps than known
Uighur activists said Tuesday they have documented nearly 500 camps and prisons run by China to detain members of the ethnic group, alleging that Beijing could be holding far more than the commonly cited figure of one million people.
The East Turkistan National Awakening Movement, a Washington-based group that seeks independence for the mostly Muslim region known to China as Xinjiang, gave the geographic coordinates of 182 suspected “concentration camps” where Uighurs are allegedly pressured to renounce their culture.
Researching imagery from Google Earth, the group said it also spotted 209 suspected prisons and 74 suspected labor camps for which it would share details later.
“In large part these have not been previously identified, so we could be talking about far greater numbers” of people detained, said Kyle Olbert, the director of operations for the movement.
“If anything, we are concerned that there may be more facilities that we have not been able to identify,” he told a news conference in suburban Washington.

A flash mob of more than 1,000 protesters descended on central Hong Kong on Tuesday in a scene authorities said was bringing the Chinese-ruled city to the brink of “total collapse.”
Clashes in the central business district and elsewhere in the former British colony came a day after a police officer drew his gun during a struggle with protesters, shooting one in the abdomen. In another neighborhood, a 57-year-old man was set on fire after an apparent argument.
“Our society has been pushed to the brink of a total breakdown,” police spokesman Kong Wing-cheung said at a media briefing in regards to the last two days of violence.
Kong said masked “rioters” had committed “insane” acts that have caused Hong Kong’s rule of law to be “pushed to the brink of total collapse.” Police said that violent protesters have thrown trash, bicycles and other debris onto metro tracks and overhead power lines, snarling the transit system.

Border Force stopped five boats in the English Channel over the weekend, carrying 74 illegal immigrants. On Sunday night alone, 31 people in two small boats — 25 men, three women, and three minors — were stopped at sea, marking the fourth such “incident” in three days.
The migrants were brought ashore in Dover, as is customary under European Union protocols. The illegal aliens will be processed and medically examined before immigration officials will make a determination as to whether any of those caught crossing illegally will be granted asylum.
Those migrants not recognised as refugees — and few if any should qualify, given France is a safe country — will likely be added to the ever-growing number of people in the United Kingdom who have been denied status but not deported.
“The nationalities of those found are yet to be established. Their cases will be dealt with in line with the immigration rules”, a Home Office spokesman told KentOnline.
Though the United Kingdom has faced illegal migrants trying to break in by by boarding ferries, hijacking lorries, and even storming the Channel Tunnel, the illegal sea crossings of the English Channel, reminiscent of those in Italy, Spain, and Greece, are a more recent phenomenon, certainly at the scale the country is currently experiencing.
Despite pronouncements from both the French and British governments a report from the local government in Calais found that an average of five migrant filled boats have set sail for Britain per week since the beginning of the year. So far this year over 1,500 migrants have successfully reached British shores — with only a very small number sent back, thanks to EU asylum rules…”

GOP issues memo detailing strategy to defend POTUS

Senior Republicans serving on panels involved in the Adam Schiff-led impeachment inquiry into President Trump issued a strategy memo to GOP members on those committees. The 18-page memo (embedded below) outlined “key points of evidence” from the double-secret hearings from the “capitol basement bunker” that Schiff used as a propaganda tool by selective leaking.
“The fact-finding is all unclassified, so the closed-door process is purely for information control,” the memo said. “This arrangement has allowed Chairman Schiff — who has already publicly fabricated evidence and misled Americans about his interactions with the anonymous whistleblower — to selectively leak cherry-picked information to help paint misleading public narratives while, at the same time, placing a gag order on Republican Members.”
This memo gives a united strategy ahead of public hearings planned to start at 10 a.m. on Wednesday.

Reflecting on this, I came to see why freedom of association belongs with freedom of speech in the First Amendment to the US Constitution. Those two freedoms are the foundation of civil society, and the necessary shield against the abuse of political power. Take them away and all power ends up in the hands of the state. The result is what we know as “totalitarianism”. At the recent Labour Party conference Left-wing activists called for private education to be criminalised, as it was by the communists, and the funds of private schools to be confiscated and used for the “common good”. Meanwhile leftists in universities are mounting effective campaigns to prevent free discussion and to expel those professors whose views they dislike. Politicised subjects like Gender Studies, which forbid ideological disagreement and have doctrine and dogma as their goal, are driving free discussion from the curriculum. It is not clear, yet, how far this will go. But the arguments given and the tactics adopted are exactly those of the communists in 1948. The state is seen as the guardian of public morality; it must therefore forbid the misuse of our freedoms. It is surely likely that the underground university that operated in Czechoslovakia in the Eighties will be needed before long in Britain. In preparing for that moment we should be looking back, not to 1989 but to 1977, when the battle which had been fought and lost in the post-war years began again in earnest. “Around one-third of young prostitutes in the Paris suburbs of Seine-Saint-Denis are under 15, with some as young as just six, according to a local NGO.
The Observatory of violence against women in Seine-Saint-Denis published a study on underage prostitutes Tuesday, looking into 19 court cases in the juvenile court of Bobigny and around forty reports from French child protection services, France 3 reports.
The children in sex work in the controversial neighbourhood ranged from 17 to just six-years-old, with 89 per cent being prior victims of physical abuse and 40 per cent victims of prior sexual abuse, most of the abuse occurring within their own homes. 61 per cent of the mothers of the child sex abuse victims also reported domestic abuse as well.
Ernestine Ronai, head of the NGO, said that the goal of the study was to better understand the path that led to prostitution in order to better protect children in the future.
“The course of these girls’ lives is marked by violence,” Ronai said and noted that the abuse led to failure in school which in turn led to the path to prostitution.
The study also found the important role social media plays in facilitating prostitution, saying 50 per cent of “clients” — abusers — used social media and the internet to approach the children for sexual favours.
The area studied for the report, Seine-Saint-Denis, has achieved a level of notoriety as a prime example of a so-called No Go Zone in France, or what the French government technically labels a Sensitive Urban Zone. It has become so difficult to retain staff to work in public services in the area the government now offers special cash incentives to civil servants not to move away, and the suburb has become synonymous with Islamisation, and often the most radical expressions of the Muslim faith.
Child sexual exploitation in vulnerable communities is not limited to France, however. In Sweden, journalists used the homosexual dating app Grindr while pretending to be a 14-year-old boy named David and found that over 100 adult men messaged the boy for sexual favours.
In another case, journalists claimed to be a 14-year-old girl on a website called “Sugar Daters” and had a man, later revealed to be an employee of Swedish broadcaster SVT, offer to pay the fake account £840 to take her virginity.
Child prostitution is also a major problem in the Netherlands where it was revealed last year that some 1,400 underage girls were forced into sexual slavery per year by migrant-background men. Gideon van Aartsen from Watch Nederland, who works with police to combat child sexual exploitation, said the men were mostly from Moroccan, Turkish or Roma backgrounds and that they earned up to 800 euros per day from the child victims.”

“The publicly-funded British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) has woken up to Sweden’s bombing epidemic years after Breitbart News.
In an analysis article titled ‘Sweden’s 100 explosions this year: What’s going on?’, the BBC acknowledged the epidemic of gang crime, gun crime, and criminal use of explosives which Breitbart London has been reporting for years — while the mainstream media scoffed and continued to hail the country as a Scandinavial left-liberal paradise.
“Swedish police are dealing with unprecedented levels of attacks, targeting city centre locations [as well as heavily migrant-populated suburbs],” the so-called public interest broadcaster conceded.
“This category of crime was not even logged prior to 2017. Then, in 2018, there were 162 explosions and in the past two months alone the bomb squad have been called to almost 30,” they reported.
The report managed to avoid directly citing the immigration connection for over twenty paragraphs, however, and then only addressed the issue obliquely, observing that “Swedish police do not record or release the ethnicity of suspects or convicted criminals, but intelligence chief Linda H Straaf says many do share a similar profile.”
That profile, according to Straaf, is “second- or third-generation immigrants” in “socio-economically weak areas” — what some would call no-go zones — but the BBC was quick to follow this acknowledgement with a quote from a left-liberal criminologist downplaying this reality:
Amir Rostami says ethnicity rarely plays a big role in gang membership in Sweden. “When I interview gang members… the gang is their new country. The gang is their new identity.”
However, Rostami did tell the BBC that the use of hand grenades in Sweden, in particular, is almost without parallel, “the only relevant comparison [being] Mexico, plagued by gang violence.”
“This is unique in countries that pretty much don’t have a war or don’t have a long history of terrorism,” the academic admitted.
Breitbart News received (erroneous) pushback for reporting that the prevalence of grenade attacks in Sweden is comparable to Mexico as long ago as 2017, years before the mainstream media in the form of the BBC appears to have finally acknowledged the scale of the crisis.
Indeed, Oliver Lane, who now leads Breitbart’s London and Europe bureau, was reporting on the ground in Sweden as long ago as 2015, interviewing top police officer Torsten Elofsson, a 42-year veteran of law enforcement in the no-go zone pockmarked city of Malmo, shortly after his retirement.
“Malmo is infamous for explosions,” he told Lane, long before the BBC thought to ask “What’s going on?”
“Yet thankfully nobody has been killed by the explosions yet – some of them are just used to frighten people,” he added.
Sadly, this is no longer the case.
“Many people think the media and the politicians have merged together to make people believe that it is safe and sound to live here, and there are no problems,” Elofsson added.
“The media says immigration is always a positive thing because we have an ageing population and we need a young workforce to come from other countries. People don’t buy that picture 100 per cent Living here you can see a lot of the crimes are committed by people originating abroad.”
Indeed, the left-liberal media-political establishment were certainly quick to close ranks when U.S. President Donald Trump put his (in)famous rhetorical question about “what happened in Sweden” in 2017, with commentators in Sweden, the United States, and the wider West all rejoining that there was, in essence, nothing to be alarmed over.
The BBC appeared to acknowledge this reflex, if only tacitly, in its own article on “What’s going on”, quoting Stockholm University professor Christian Christensen as confessing to a certain surprise at the lack of coverage of explosions in the broadcast media — but at the same time revealing that there is a concern “that Sweden is used symbolically as proof of problems with immigration, proof of problems with leftist policies”.
Sweden’s immediate neighbours are proving increasingly reluctant to go along with the charade, however, with their fellow Scandinavians in Denmark electing to close their border with the country — despite both being members of the European Union’s frontierless Schengen area — as a result of Sweden’s gang violence and explosions problem spilling into their own country.
The BBC may not deserve too much credit for finally acknowledging that all is not well in the left’s symbolic utopia turned embarrassing cautionary tale, however, given the virulently anti-Trump New York Times conceded the point to Breitbart some 20 months ago — still late, but not so late as their British fellow-travellers.
Which mainstream media outlet proves to be the last horse to cross the finishing line on the subject remains to be seen.”

Belgium: North African migrant arrested for using fake taxi to rape young women

A North African man has been arrested in connection to the rape of a young female student living in Brussels, who claims he posed as a fake taxi driver to lure her into the car after she had left a student baptism.
The 20-year-old victim, a student of Université Libre de Bruxelles, said the perpetrator – a man who she described as North African – raped her about a week and a half ago after he picked her up while posing as a taxi driver for the Collecto ride-sharing service, L’Avenir reports.
The following day, the victim also posted her experience on the Facebook page “ULB Confessions” to warn other potential victims.
“I think he’s prowling around Jefke (Ixelles Cemetery) and he sees the drunk girls walking alone. He stops and pretends to be a Collecto taxi. He explains that he wants to take you anywhere. Except that he takes the girls away from Brussels, to a house, to rape them,” the victim said.
Since the victim’s posting, additional victims have come forward recounting similar experiences in the same area.
A Brussel’s prosecutor’s office confirmed last Friday that a 44-year-old man, who’s being referred to as YB, was arrested and charged with rape of an adult with a weapon and indecent assault with violence or threat of a weapon in the Ixelles area of Brussels, RTL reports.
This isn’t the first time migrants have posed as rideshare drivers to lure unsuspecting women into their vehicles so that they can rape them.
Earlier this year in January, Mohammed Awais, aged 28, was convicted by a London court of rape and sentenced to nine years in prison after he posed as an Uber driver and picked up a drunk woman.
In August, a 26-year-old illegal immigrant from Bangladesh was arrested in Bordeaux after he was accused of raping a university student while working as a delivery guy for Uber Eats.
After arriving at the victim’s door with the food, the migrant forced his way into her flat when he realized she was tired. He then allegedly raped her before fleeing the scene

Abrar Fahad was beaten to death by fellow students at one of Bangladesh’s top universities, after posting criticism of government policy on social media.

A Michigan man is now in FBI custody after being accused of stealing and sending confidential tech information to his brother who has contacts with Iran’s nuclear weapon industry.
Amin Hasanzadeh, an Iranian military vet, is a visiting scholar at the University of Michigan and hardware engineer. He made his first court appearance on Wednesday on charges of fraud – he did not disclose that he had been in the Iranian military – and “interstate transportation of stolen property,” according to NPR.
