Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

    • Using a foreign adven4ture to take peoples minds of of their internal problems is a tactic so old no one knows who first used it. The things China needs to remember before they start trouble is 1) it is US law that we must support Taiwan if’when China invades. 2) During the Obama years Japan started rearming and worked hard to establish a strong alliance consisting of all of the nations that are threatened by China. The US by ourselves could take China and when the Japanese step into help the Chinese Navy is toast, once the tide of battle turns against China the other nations in the alliance will jump in to insure a major loss for China.

    “Earlier, Tehran reportedly informed international maritime authorities that three of its oil tankers had been attacked by unknown forces in a matter of six months, calling the Red Sea route, where these attacks happened, “unsafe”.

    A drone has been shot down above the Iranian port of Mahshahr in the country’s south on the shores of the Persian Gulf, the ISNA news agency reported. It’s unclear at the moment from the report whether the unmanned aerial aircraft (UAV) was a military or civil one.

    According to the report, the port’s air defence systems have been activated after an unidentified aircraft was detected in its airspace. Iranian officials have not commented on the report yet…”

    “The bizarre proposal from a Danish city council, which many perceived as a pay-off to criminals, is intended to avoid being placed on a ghetto list.

    In a bid to resolve the ingrained ghetto problem, Odense, Denmark’s third largest city, has offered convicted criminals DKK 15,000 (about $2,220) to relocate. According to the authorities, the price tag could be much higher if they are allowed to stay.

    The “relocation grants” together with paid transfer are aimed at people convicted in 2019 and are being touted as a “fresh start”.

    The idea behind the unconventional measure by the Municipality of Odense is to avoid being placed on Denmark’s notorious ghetto list. The legal package commonly dubbed “ghetto laws” and passed last year includes the demolition of entire housing blocks and forced relocation of residents, a perspective Odense would be happy to avoid.

    Local employment councillor Brian Dybro of the Socialist People’s Party described the necessity of paying off criminals as a “s****y situation”.

    “This is a choice between pest and cholera. If we fail to move 12-14 criminals out of the area, we will end up on the ‘hard ghetto list’, and then we must demolish buildings and move residents. I want to avoid that at all costs”, Dybro told Danish Radio.
    Liberal-conservative Venstre Party group chairman in Odense City Council Christoffer Lilleholt called the situation “crazy” and “a big dilemma”. Still, he ventured, paying off criminals to avoid tearing down people’s homes was a good solution.

    By contrast, the right-wing Danish People’s Party voiced strong discontent.

    “The purpose of the ‘ghetto package’ was to prevent the ghettos and stop the massive crime which occurs where many immigrants are gathered in the same place. The idea was not to be a a gift for criminals”, Mette Hjermind Dencker of the Danish People’s Party said.
    “It pays to be a criminal in Odense”, a Twitter user quipped.

    Denmark’s official Ghetto List has been published by the Transport, Construction and Housing Ministry annually since 2010.

    For an area to appear on the list, it has to have over 50 percent of residents of non-Western background, and an unemployment level of 40 percent. Additionally, 60 percent of residents aged 30 to 59 must lack higher education. The proportion of convicts among ghetto residents is at least three times higher than the national average. The “ghetto package” sparked a fiery debate in Denmark, with advocates hailing it as a welcome crackdown on crime and opponents suggesting it unnecessarily stigmatises entire areas and undermines their economy.

    In 2019, 43 Danish residential areas were characterised as vulnerable. Some 29 were labelled “ghettos”, of them 15 are referred to as “hard ghettos” for having been on the list for four years or more. Odense, Denmark’s third-largest city with a population of roughly 180,000, currently has four ghettos, of which one classifies as a hard one.”

    The Cultural Foundation Mums in Stockholm, which intends to spend the government funds on transvestites reading fairy tales to children, is only one of the beneficiaries.

    “The project will, together with children, young people, and adults with disabilities, develop available norm-creative fairy tales in the form of drag shows”, the Public Inheritance Fund wrote, promising “new fairy tales that reflect the target group”.

    In addition to penning new stories, an “accessible storytelling model” for libraries and other public places will be developed. Drag show workshops will be held within the framework of the project.

    “Syrian and Afghan asylum seekers attacked a village disco in a small German village armed with machetes after two were kicked out by a bouncer.

    The incident occurred on Saturday in the village of Trebbin in Brandeburg. The group of around 10 migrants attempted to hack down the door to the building with their machetes, German tabloid Bild reports.

    The bouncer said that the asylum seekers attempted to slash him in the neck, but he was able to fend them off and get inside where he and three other colleagues held the door closed as the migrants attacked it.

    As the migrants attempted to chop the wooden door with their machetes, a splinter shot out into the eye of a 25-year-old guest who then had to attend the emergency room.

    “I fended off the blow with my forearm and pushed it back. It fell against the other, who had also pulled a machete. We used the seconds to retreat and shut the door. They then hacked on the door. They had apparently planned to take revenge. Otherwise, they would not have brought the weapons,” the bouncer said.

    Frank Seifert, who runs the disco, said of the attack: “Two of them had been banned two weeks ago because they had climbed over the fence. We have nothing against asylum seekers, but whoever does not behave cannot go in.”

    Due to the prices at the club, which offers a glass of liquor for just one euro after admission, the club, only 20 minutes away from Berlin, gets many guests including migrants.

    Similar incidents have taken place in Germany since 2015. In the town of Plauen, asylum seekers were banned from a local disco after several violent incidents and sex attacks on young girls.

    Problems with sex attacks became so bad in Hamburg that an experienced bouncer remarked in 2016 that women were afraid to go out alone at night.”

    • These people are such trash, the lowest of the low. This behavior has to do with their shame/honour culture. They see the ban as an insult to their honour, which can only be erased by (something close to) honour violence.

      This is nothing new. I remember a shooting in the ’80s in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. I think it was Turks, they were thrown out, went home and got their little brother to avenge the family honor (they use minors because they get lighter sentences). He shot at the door, killing an 18yo girl.

      Sometimes guys like that also take revenge when a robbery goes sour. They come back to firebomb the place. Jewellers, supermarkets etc.

    They have printed money and issued debt for every political master of the day who grumbled “Not on my watch!”

    What PT does with it is anyone’s guess. In a perfect world, imho, he knows such debt simply cannot be repaid because it is too big. The galactic irony is that before he became President, this man became intimately familiar with the nuts and bolts of bankruptcy. I see no greater evidence of divinity at play as when I ponder the constellation of attributes this man of the hour must possess, and the astronomical odds of containing these requirements in one American. That another requirement is that this man must be aware of his historical nexus in order to find the strength to do what must be done is, well, spooky.

    If an orderly deleveraging is not realistic to extinguish the debt monster, then there is no choice but to blow it up. Who will be the winners and losers?

    Parasites will lose. This is the Left and Islam.

    Winners will be the people who want their country back. Patriots and hard working productive people who just want to live their lives, and not control the lives of others.

    The safety nets will remain, but to those who deserve it: the sick, the old, and veterans who have lived meaningful lives.

    After a bloody dispute with a cyclist, parcel carrier Florent R. has to answer in court for attempted murder. The 21-year-old is accused of having hit the cyclist from behind with his car in Weil der Stadt (Böblingen district) in mid-May. Afterwards he got out of the car and stabbed the injured person several times with a knife. At the start of the trial on Thursday before the regional court in Stuttgart, only the indictment was read out. The accused Kosovar did not make a statement. The accused is said to have got angry at a red traffic light because of the cyclist’s criticism of his driving style. In the subsequent attack, he had endangered his victim’s life. Witnesses claim to have heard the parcel carrier shouting phrases like “I’ll stab you to death” or “I’ll kill you.” According to the prosecution, he did not let go of the injured person until a witness intervened and loudly demanded that he put the knife away.Thereafter, the 21-year-old is said to have added, among other things, “He may die, I do not care” and “You shall perish now”. A judgement is not expected before mid-December.

    “Croatia should not be allowed into Europe’s border-free travel zone because of its treatment of migrants crossing into the country from neighboring Bosnia and Serbia, a leading international human rights body said Friday.

    In a report, Human Rights Watch criticized the European Commission, the EU’s executive branch, for saying last month that Croatia is ready to join the so-called Schengen Area, a zone including 26 European states where people travel freely without ID checks.

    “Croatia’s unlawful and violent summary returns of asylum seekers and migrants should disqualify it from joining the Schengen Area,” said Lydia Gall, senior Eastern Europe and Balkans researcher at Human Rights Watch.

    The commission’s recommendation, according to Human Rights Watch, “sends the message that serious human rights abuses are no obstacle to Schengen accession.”

    As a result, it said the EU should investigate reports of abuses “instead of rewarding Croatia.”

    Tove Ernst, a commission spokeswoman working on migration, said the EU is in contact with Croatian authorities and they have promised to investigate the allegations.

    “When it comes to allegations of mistreatment on migrants, the Commission always takes such allegations very seriously,” Ernst said. “We consider that Croatia continues to fulfill its commitment in relation to the protection of human rights.”

    In December 2018, the EU granted Croatia 6.8 million euros ($7.5 million) in emergency funding, principally to ensure border guards respect the fundamental rights of migrants.

    Human Rights Watch said it has documented “summary collective expulsions” of migrants from Croatia to neighboring Bosnia and Serbia since 2016.

    It lambasted Croatian police officers for “pummeling people with fists, kicking them, and making them run gauntlets between lines of police officers” and that violence has been directed against women and children.

    “Unlike with lawful deportations, migrants are not returned at ports of entry, but rather in remote border areas, including, at times, forced to cross freezing streams,” according to Human Rights Watch.

    There was no immediate reaction from Croatia to the report. Croatian officials have repeatedly denied accusations of abuse from migrants and human rights groups.

    Croatia joined the EU in 2013. The decision to allow Croatia to join the Schengen area must be upheld by all EU governments.”

  28. Bad deal: Iran’s been improving Fordow since before U.S. pulled out of nuclear ‘deal’; now resumes enrichment

    Iran announced it had resumed uranium enrichment at its underground Fordow nuclear plant, stepping further away from the one-sided 2015 Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA). The rogue regime has been “bulking up” its Fordow nuclear facility since at least April 2018, but the cowardly countries remaining in the JCPOA never made the construction an issue.

    President Trump backed away from the deal in May 2018 because it restricted the United States, but enabled Iran to go nuclear in 2025, and continue to fund terrorism, among other reasons. Months before the US withdrew, POTUS offered to renegotiate and make the deal acceptable. He gave the Iranian despots a choice: “You can have a nuclear weapons program, or you can have a functioning economic system. One or the other, but you can’t have both.” After getting a negative response to his offer to renegotiate, the President placed sanctions on Iran, which, as promised, are crippling its economy.

    In the 2015 deal, Iran agreed to turn Fordow into a “nuclear, physics and technology center” where 1,044 centrifuges would be used for purposes other than enrichment. Still, it has been apparent for over a year and a half that Iran was getting the Fordow facility ready for its nefarious purposes. If they were getting it ready for isotopes as they claimed in the JCPOA, a facility built in a mountain wouldn’t be necessary.

    Journalist Megyn Kelly says she has an interview with the employee fired from CBS News after they were thought to be involved in the leak of a hot mic video of ABC’s Amy Robach talking about how a story about a Jeffrey Epstein accuser was “quashed” by the network.

    Kelly previewed the interview on her new Instagram account on Friday morning, saying that the full interview would be posted later in the day on her Instagram page and on YouTube.

    The former NBC and Fox News host has slowly been reentering the public eye in recent weeks. Last month, Kelly appeared on Tucker Carlson’s prime-time program on Fox News to slam NBC News for its handling of allegations against longtime host Matt Lauer while calling for an outside investigation of what happened internally.

    The Kelly interview comes after CBS this week reportedly fired an employee who was said to be involved in the leak of video of Robach talking about an Epstein story she claims she had three years ago.

    Journalist Yashar Ali reported Thursday that ABC News executives believe they know who accessed the Robach video and that the former employee had moved on to CBS. He noted that it was unclear whether the employee was responsible for leaking the video.

    “Two sources familiar with the matter tell me that CBS News has fired the staffer in question,” Ali tweeted with an accompanying story. “This comes after ABC informed CBS that they had determined who accessed the footage of Amy Robach expressing her frustrations about the Epstein story.”

    CBS and ABC declined to comment on Thursday.

    A video released earlier this week by the conservative group Project Veritas showed Robach criticizing ABC for not running her reporting on Epstein.

    “I’ve had the story for three years. I’ve had this interview with Virginia Roberts. We would not put it on the air,” Robach said in the video, referring to one of Epstein’s accusers.

    Roberts has said she was sexually trafficked by Epstein to Prince Andrew, the brother of Prince Charles — who is next in line to the British throne.

    It’s not clear when the video was taken but it appears to be in the aftermath of new reporting about Epstein in July that led to his arrest on charges of sex trafficking and conspiracy to traffic minors in sex.

    Epstein was found dead in his New York jail cell in August while awaiting trial. A New York medical examiner declared his death a suicide.

    ABC News in a statement attributed to a spokesman said it had continued to work on the story.

    “At the time, not all of our reporting met our standards to air, but we have never stopped investigating the story. Ever since, we’ve had a team on this investigation and substantial resources dedicated to it,” the spokesman said in a statement released Tuesday. “That work has led to a two-hour documentary and 6-part podcast that will air in the new year.”

  35. MONTERREY, Nuevo Leon – A group of cartel gunmen chased down a squad of police officers in what escalated to a fierce shootout where five attackers died and two cops sustained injuries on Wednesday, November 6.
    The shootouts began in the town of Anahuac when Nuevo Leon State Police spotted a group of gunmen moving in at least two pickups, law enforcement officials revealed.     Joe Morrissey was elected to the Virginia state Senate on Tuesday, easily defeating Independent Waylin Ross in the district that covers parts of Richmond and the surrounding area, WJLA reported.

    Morrissey spent six months in jail when, as a state legislator, he pleaded guilty to having sex with his 17-year-old secretary.

    Morrissey, 62, and the woman, Myrna Pride, stayed together and have since married and had three children.

    An Islamically-sanctioned barbarity continues

    As is well known, slavery was formally abolished in Saudi Arabia as late as 1962, and then only after terrific pressure had been applied to the Saudis by Western governments. And today, when we speak of slavery in the Muslim world, we think of Mauritania (with 600,000 slaves), as the report in the past hour discussed, Niger (600,000 slaves), Mali (200,000 slaves), and Libya (where slave markets have opened in nine sites during the last two years). Most of us assume that in Saudi Arabia, slavery is no longer tolerated.

    But most of us are wrong.

    Slavery may have been formally abolished, but the cruel and savage treatment of foreign domestic workers, their inability to free themselves from arduous work conditions because their employers keep their passports and other documents, amount to slavery in all but name.

  47. Newly released footage of a hostage-taking at an Edmonton border services office shows a man holding a knife to a three-year-old boy’s throat after talking about accessing his “UN lawyer.”

    Edmonton police have charged a man in relation to the incident, though have not named him.

    In the video, which was captured by the alleged victim’s older sister, suspect argues with a CBSA receptionist for several minutes.

    “I say five minutes in the hands of your people, I don’t want it,” said the man. “I don’t trust your people and (the) people around me.”
