1. Ottawa: Stabbing outside IKEA sends two to hospital

(Normally we would assume it was just a natural reaction by a regular customer who tried to assemble some of their furniture. But after what happened at the Swedish IKEA…)

Two men are in hospital after a stabbing outside Ottawa’s IKEA store just before noon Friday.

 

Both victims are being treated for serious, but not life-threatening injuries, Paramedics say.

 

An area outside the front doors of the store is cordoned off by investigators. Officers were seen picking up blood-spattered clothes in early afternoon.

Police say they are not looking for any suspects.

3. UN and jetting climate warriors all over the place to preach their doctrine and make demands.

4. American Christians attacked by drug gang in Mexico. Message to Americans: “Keep your guns!” Also notice how they are members of a fundamentalist religious cult, but muslims are always painted as victims.

5. Largest Jewish paper runs article directed at non-Jews about Jeremy Corbyn.

(This may be a first for the otherwise conservative in the sense of cautious Jewish publication out of the UK.)

The vast majority of British Jews consider Jeremy Corbyn to be an antisemite. In the most recent poll, last month, the figure was 87 per cent.

 

Putting oneself in the shoes of another person, or another group, can be difficult. But we believe it is important — and urgent — that you do that. Perhaps the fact that nearly half (47 per cent) of the Jewish community said in that same poll that they would “seriously consider” emigrating if Mr Corbyn wins on December 12 will give you an indication of what it feels like to be a British Jew at a time when the official opposition is led by a man widely held to be an antisemite.

6. Germany: One of Merkel’s lorry drivers stabs cyclists almost to death

Does anyone remember Chancellor Merkel’s demand to start a loan programme for refugees in order to counteract the shortage of skilled workers in the lorry drivers’ sector ?
Well, here we got one of Merkel’s lorry drivers !
The tabloid BILD reports:

After a bloody dispute with a cyclist, parcel carrier Florent R. has to answer in court for attempted murder. The 21-year-old is accused of having hit the cyclist from behind with his car in Weil der Stadt (Böblingen district) in mid-May. Afterwards he got out of the car and stabbed the injured person several times with a knife

7. New video footage reveals suspect in Edmonton border service hostage situation

“If you don’t want to see the blood – and it’s not a joke – take me right now in your office.”

Newly released footage of a hostage-taking at an Edmonton border services office shows a man holding a knife to a three-year-old boy’s throat after talking about accessing his “UN lawyer.”

 

Edmonton police have charged a man in relation to the incident, though have not named him.

In the video, which was captured by the alleged victim’s older sister, suspect argues with a CBSA receptionist for several minutes.

 

“I say five minutes in the hands of your people, I don’t want it,” said the man. “I don’t trust your people and (the) people around me.”
