UK forms no-go zone around Finsbury mosque, terrorist stabbing attack in Jordan: Links 1, November 6, 2019

2. ‘What’s wrong with people?’ Ambulance attacked with fireworks while racing to emergency

A LONDON Ambulance on an emergency call-out has been attacked with fireworks by a group of violent yobs.

emergency stop after coming under attack in the Finsbury Park area of the city on Saturday night. The London Ambulance Service (LAS) said the vehicle was struck by a lit firework around 9pm after it was thrown underneath a car and exploded onto the windscreen.

The London Ambulance paramedic driving the vehicle at the time said: “This was a close call for me and my crew-mates as a firework was aimed towards our ambulance and exploded as I drove on blue lights and sirens to an incident.

(Finsbury Park is where the mosque is, where the terrorist imam, Abu Hamza the Egyptian used to preach, and who is now in a US prison for his part of 911. This is an islamic area of London and this tactic is widely used in other European countries to create what we call “No-go zones” but are really zones of no national sovereignty at all.)
Military police and helicopters scrambled to Schiphol as all flights in and out delayed

Large areas of Schiphol airport in Amsterdam, including its railway station, have been evacuated while Dutch military police investigate what airport authorities described as a “situation onboard a plane”.

Local media said emergency services had been scrambled, a police special operations team was on site and two trauma helicopters were on their way to the airport. There was no immediate official confirmation of what the incident involved.

The airport is still operating but all inbound and outbound flights are delayed and some have been postponed indefinitely.

Dutch military police tweeted that they were investigating a “suspicious situation” onboard a plane and said more information would follow.

(Something to do with a hostage taking.)

4. Obama State Department Official Calls for Criminalization of Burning the Qur’an

The totalitarian tendencies of the Left become more obvious by the day, as the Washington Post continues to cover itself in glory. Richard Stengel is a former editor of Time Magazine and was the State Department’s undersecretary for public diplomacy and public affairs from 2013 to 2016. In this piece, he says the First Amendment is an “outlier” and calls for “hate speech” laws that would criminalize, among other things, the burning of Qur’ans.

Stengel claims that he is a convert to authoritarianism, a former believer in the freedom of speech: “When I was a journalist, I loved Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes Jr.’s assertion that the Constitution and the First Amendment are not just about protecting ‘free thought for those who agree with us but freedom for the thought that we hate.’”

His conversion came as a result of his world travel. Travel is supposed to be broadening, but in Stengel’s case it was narrowing. He says that even as he went around the world defending the freedom of speech, he came to despise that freedom: “But as a government official traveling around the world championing the virtues of free speech, I came to see how our First Amendment standard is an outlier.”

Part of his new dislike for this cardinal American freedom, the cornerstone of any free society, apparently came from his own lack of understanding of why it was so important, and inability to defend it in the face of criticism. He recounts that “even the most sophisticated Arab diplomats that I dealt with did not understand why the First Amendment allows someone to burn a Koran. Why, they asked me, would you ever want to protect that?”

Graphic video of the victims of the attack:

(Sounds like tourists from a Spanish speaking country)

6. ANOTHER Church burns down. This time in Manitoba. (Even the RCMP say it is suspicious, so I guess they didn’t get the phone call yet.)

Police are investigating what they’re calling a suspicious fire at a church in Carman.

Fire crews were called to a blaze at the church on 1st Street NW around 6 p.m. Tuesday.

The fire was found and contained to the church’s nursery room.

Police say the circumstances surrounding the fire are suspicious and Pembina Valley RCMP along with the Office of the Fire Commissioner continue to investigate.

(Seriously though. Can Churches even get fire insurance anymore?)

Thank you C., M., Wrath of Khan, Richard, Xanthippa, Sassy, EB., and everyone who contributed in any way to this effort.

There is an amazing video MissPiggy translated for us over the past three days which we really hope to get up tonight. Its frankly stunning and confirms a lot of our worst fears about the Merkel government. When it is published please book the time to watch it.

It is 40 minutes long and now that I have seen it I can fully understand why Miss Piggy felt it was worth the herculean task of translating it all with timings for us to get.

Check back around midnight. It will reveal stunning facts about the Halle Synagogue attack which lead one to rather unpleasant suspicions about the Merkel government.
