Senator Rand Paul famously questioned then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton over gun running in Benghazi. Many scoffed at Paul, but it seems he will be having the last laugh as intelligence reports have now vindicated his line of inquiry.
Here is the transcript of Rand’s questions to Hillary:
Sen. Rand Paul: My question is, is the US involved in any procuring of weapons, transfer of weapons, buying, selling anyhow transferring weapons to Turkey out of Libya?
Hillary Clinton: To Turkey? I’ll have to take that question for the record. That’s, nobody’s ever raised that with me.
Sen. Rand Paul: It’s been in news reports that ships have been leaving from Libya and that they may have weapons. And what I’d like to know is, that annex that was close by, were they involved with procuring, buying, selling, obtaining weapons and were any of these weapons being transferred to other countries? Any countries, Turkey included?
Hillary Clinton: Well, Senator you’ll have to direct that question to the agency that ran the annex. And, I will see what information was available.
Sen. Rand Paul: You’re saying you don’t know?
Hillary Clinton: I do not know. I don’t have any information on that.
Paul went on to accuse the Obama administration of illegally running guns to Syria rebels without congressional approval.
Turns out he was right.

No non socialist government anywhere in the west can fully flex its muscles and succeed when the public service bureaucracies are full of socialists who place their politics before the ethics of their job (which is fully supporting the elected government and obeying its instructions without leakage,obstruction or ignoring). The Only way that such a government can succeed is by winnowing out the ones who are caught and inflicting extreme punishments upon them for what is treason and letting the rest know that they too face a long time in gaol. It HAS to be harshly punitive or it will be waste of time and it has to be thorough. But I doubt that even Trump has the courage to do this. Every western city which houses their national public service always vote in Leftists to represent them and it is a death of democracy by slow bureaucratic strangulation and that is without even the Trudeaus, the Macrons, the Mays, the Merkels or the Obamas.
