1. What Went Wrong in the Local Elections in Hungary?
Last Sunday the leftist opposition made major gains in local mayoral elections in Hungary (see this Reuters article for more). Our Hungarian correspondent CrossWare sends the following analysis of the results.

There was an election of city council mayors in Hungary on October 13.
As a result, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán’s Fidesz party lost control of the capital city Budapest as well as seven other major cities, more than half of the major cities in the country. The opposition — which was a loose alliance of neo-Marxists, old-Marxists, socialists, neo-Nazis and other criminals — won significant bases in the country.
How could such a thing happen, when conservatives all over the world admire Viktor Orbán’s thoughts and principles and look to Hungary as some kind of Christian conservative paradise?
The answer is not easy, because we have to face facts: Viktor Orbán, while a larger-than-life politician, is still human. Also, we have to acknowledge that his party Fidesz is not filled with a lot of other Orbáns.
The problem is that the present governing party does nothing about the Communists presently residing in various strategic places, despite the fact that Fidesz declares itself to be a fierce anti-Communist party.
The scandal first started a couple of years ago, when Fidesz attempted to retire the old and 100% Communist judges from the Hungarian legal system. The EU blocked the decision, and now everybody understands why they saved their dear comrades. The Fidesz government backed off and the Commies remained in the system, and even started to organize their own resupply of candidates.

It should also be noted that in a speech Orban gave a couple of years ago, he explained clearly how the EU was making illegal deals with mayors of various cities to bring migrants in directly and bypass federal law. This may explain how Poland finds itself with so many muslims recently while its PiS federal government is at least as fiercely pro-Poland as Fidesz is Hungarian. So having this many communist municipal leaders is a giant problem.
2. 31 arrested, 300 charges in multi-provincial sex-trafficking operation based in Ontario

Thirty-one people, including a central “kingpin,” have been arrested and more than 300 charges laid in a major investigation into human trafficking and organized crime that started when two Quebec women contacted police in Ontario.
At a news conference on Wednesday in Aurora, York Regional Police said they uncovered a network of criminals who used fraud to help fund a trafficking operation across Canada.
The year-long investigation, Project Convalesce, involved extensive time and efforts by four police services from Ontario and one from Quebec, reporters were told.
York Regional Police Insp. Thai Truong said the project began when two female victims of trafficking contacted them last year about a suspected pimp.
Truong said the Quebec women were based in Ontario and had tried to flee the suspect described by police as the “kingpin.”
“We started uncovering and unravelling a large criminal network,” said Truong about an investigation police said has had “multi-provincial” impact.

3. Potential Bombing After ‘Powerful’ Explosion At Swedish Police Station
A police station in the Swedish city of Staffanstorp was targetted by an explosive device, with witnesses describing the blast as loud and powerful.
The explosion occurred in the early hours of Monday morning and caused damage to the main door of the building, Swedish newspaper Expressenreports.
The extent of the blast was limited to the entryway, and Swedish National Bomb Gaurd technicians arrived on the scene soon after the explosion occurred. Authorities have so far not released many details on the nature of the blast or what type of device may have been used.
Patrik Ahrlin, the local police area manager in Staffanstorp, commented on the incident, saying: “We are taking a very serious look at what happened and are grateful that no one was physically injured.”

These people are not going to liberate lands, they go for Jihad, & that was what ISIS was always doing.

First that is one very smart girl, especially so when you consider that she was educated in the modern leftist dominated school system.
Second this is an excellent data point on how Western Civilization is dead, the corpse is still moving but that is just radom nerve impulses that are still running through the humongous corpse..
All it takes for evil to grow is for good people to stop paying attention and letting the government take care of everything. the people who desire power for the sake of power are drawn to government service because that gives them a good chance of getting access to the power that is their drug of choice. The entire civlized (well formally civilized) world is paying the price because the vast majority of the people in all nations decided to let the bureaucrats and politicians take care of everything. This was handing a drug addict the keys to the narcotic cabinet.
Never forget that the people who are drawn to government service are drawn by the lure of power, if they were after money the private sector would be where they decided to make their career. Their drug of choice is power the power to boss other people around.

The world would be a better place without barbarians, if grown-ups were to grow up, if sixteen year old kids stayed in school and learned to show some respect for the adults who just might know a tad more than they do, if politicians actually did what they were elected to do, if everyone were to stop telling lies and George Soros were to fess up on how many millions Greta has been paid.
