Yesterday, Erdogan, the maniac, warned Europe to stay out of his invasion of Syria failing which he would unleash millions of people onto European shores.
Finland has now stopped weapon shipments to Turkey. Other European nations are expected to follow suit.
Give power to a full-blown psychopath, nothing good comes out of it.
Something tells me Iran will also get involved.
BTW, I don’t blame Trump for leaving. These areas have been at war since forever and USA shouldn’t be expected to remain for the next 100 years.
The House of War is every land where Muslims do not rule yet and where Islamists will FIGHT until they prevail no matter how long it takes. Madness in the name of a political religion.
I am so tired of Islam, all the rape, theft and murder.
Shocking how many Muslims are running in Canada. Oh but they are “moderate” Muslims.
Same here. We’re witnessing a slow subtle takeover. And they’ve effectively shut down our freedom to speak about it, forced us to accept the unacceptable while playing the victim card.
They’ve made it so that it’s impossible to like them.
For certain, they’ll never get me to stop talking about it.
Amazing when you listen to CBC and CTV, they tell Candaians what Trudeau, Sheer, May and Singh have done on any given day, but in this Democratic country the politicians and the so called press are OK with not mentioning there is another party Leader in Canada. It would be nice to see Max win and get rid of the disgraceful clown, puppets at CBC.
One of the reasons for pulling our people out is the lack of a base that can be used to resupply them. We had been using the air base in Turkey and ended up having to give most of the supplies to Turkey who wasn’t fighting ISIS. Without a secure position for the resupply depot your troops are waving in the wind with targets on their backs.
While I am sorry for the Kurds I also know that Russia won’t let Iran and Turkey kill all or even most of them. Russia will play each group (Turkey, Iran and Kurds) against each other to gain as much influence as they can get.
Iran wants to get involved in that region but is facing sever economic problems because of the sanctions at the time when they are fighting a proxy war with Saudi. This means t hey are limited in what they can do.
Turkey is not in economic trouble, not yet but no sanctions have been imposed and even if they had sanctions take time to work. One thing about the sanctions route is that Turkey will threaten Europe with a new wave of invaders if they go along with the sanctions.
Barry talks about us slapping Turkey down but given our other commitments moving enough military force to the Med would mean we would have to pull personal and equipment from facing off against China and out of the positions where they are already facing down Iran. When I was serving we had a military establishment that could fight two major wars at the same time, now we have a military establishment that can fight one and one half major wars at the same time. I doubt that Russia will move on Europe (not until things get real bad, he wants to be the savior in Europe not the conqueror) but we still need to keep personal and equipment there. We have already moved more people out of Europe then I am comfortable with, and we can’t pull people from the Gulf or the Far East. This means that for once our NATO allies are pretty much on their own.
