This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So many PPC supporters and organizers have been exposed as bigots, members or supporters of hate groups, radical conspiracy theorists, or full-blown neo-Nazis that it’s hard to keep count. These are people who were excited about Bernier’s anti-multicultural message and got in on the ground floor of the PPC. They are inextricably connected.
Dave Rubin is a far-right YouTube personality and a significant part of a radicalization process ushering people into the neo-Nazi movement, according to a recently published study out of Cornell University which analyzed 79 million comments and over 330,000 videos to track the effect.
Either would be counter-demonstrated in Hamilton, and with the current environment it promises to be tense. Mohawk can expect anti-racists to show up and their own students to demonstrate. They can also expect members of hate groups from around Ontario to come, including militant groups like the Soldiers of Odin and Northern Guard. Assaults, some by supporters of far-right groups, are commonplace at these demonstrations.

The Superior Court recently ruled that the Ottawa Library was within its rights to cancel a screening of an Islamophobic movie. Specifically, because the library was renting space it was a private, not public, matter and the library had no obligation to rent that space. This ruling suggests that Mohawk College can’t be forced to provide a private space either.

Former Vice President Joe Biden, now a 2020 Democratic presidential contender, has locked into a specific story about the controversy in Ukraine.
He insists that, in spring 2016, he strong-armed Ukraine to fire its chief prosecutor solely because Biden believed that official was corrupt and inept, not because the Ukrainian was investigating a natural gas company, Burisma Holdings, that hired Biden’s son, Hunter, into a lucrative job.
There’s just one problem.
Hundreds of pages of never-released memos and documents — many from inside the American team helping Burisma to stave off its legal troubles — conflict with Biden’s narrative.
And they raise the troubling prospect that U.S. officials may have painted a false picture in Ukraine that helped ease Burisma’s legal troubles and stop prosecutors’ plans to interview Hunter Biden during the 2016 U.S. presidential election.
For instance, Burisma’s American legal representatives met with Ukrainian officials just days after Biden forced the firing of the country’s chief prosecutor and offered “an apology for dissemination of false information by U.S. representatives and public figures” about the Ukrainian prosecutors, according to the Ukrainian government’s official memo of the meeting. The effort to secure that meeting began the same day the prosecutor’s firing was announced.

The Justice Department’s Criminal Division has already investigated President Trump’s conversation with the Ukrainian president about Joseph R. Biden and concluded Mr. Trump did not violate campaign finance laws, officials announced Wednesday.
And a separate division of the department has also ruled that the administration did not break the law by failing to quickly share a whistleblower’s complaint with Congress, saying the matter didn’t meet the definition of “urgent” that would trigger the law.
The department also released the transcript of Mr. Trump’s conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, showing the American leader did talk about Mr. Biden, the former vice president and current Democratic presidential front-runner, and his son, Hunter Biden. But Mr. Trump did not threaten to withhold military aid as some have alleged.
Mr. Trump did tell President Volodymyr Zelensky that his personal attorney Rudolph W. Giuliani and Attorney General William P. Barr would reach out to him to discuss the Biden case.
“I will have Mr. Giuliani give you a call and I am also going to have Attorney General William Barr give you a call and we will get to the bottom of it,” Mr. Trump said, according to the transcript of the call reviewed by The Washington Times.

The Anti-Defamation League has added the symbols to its online “Hate on Display” database , which already includes burning crosses, Ku Klux Klan robes, the swastika and many other of the most notorious and overt symbols of racism and anti-Semitism.
The New York City-based group launched the database in 2000 to help law enforcement officers, school officials and others recognize signs of extremist activity. It has grown to include nearly 200 entries.
“Even as extremists continue to use symbols that may be years or decades old, they regularly create new symbols, memes and slogans to express their hateful sentiments,” Anti-Defamation League CEO Jonathan Greenblatt said in a statement.
Some of the new entries started as trolling campaigns or hateful memes on internet message boards such as 4chan, 8chan and Reddit, before migrating to Facebook, Twitter and other mainstream platforms, and to public forums and fliers.
The ADL has updated its database to include the “OK” hand symbol, which became fodder for a 4chan trolling campaign to dupe viewers into thinking the fingers formed the letters “W” and “P” to mean “white power.” But the ADL says extremists also are using it as a sincere expression of white supremacy.
Brenton Tarrant, the Australian man charged with killing 51 people at mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand, in March, flashed the “OK” symbol during a courtroom appearance after his arrest. Tarrant also had the number 14 written on his rifle, a possible reference to the “14 Words,” a white supremacist slogan, according to the Southern Poverty Law Center.
Oren Segal, director of the ADL’s Center on Extremism, said context is key to interpreting whether an “OK” symbol is hateful or harmless. He said the ADL had been reluctant to add it to the database “because ‘OK’ has meant just ‘OK’ for so long.”
“At this point, there is enough of a volume of use for hateful purposes that we felt it was important to add,” Segal said.
An earlier addition to the database was Pepe the Frog , a cartoon character that became hijacked by online extremists who superimposed the frog with Nazi symbols and other hateful imagery. The ADL branded Pepe as a hate symbol in September 2016 and supported cartoonist Matt Furie’s efforts to reclaim the character he created.
The “Happy Merchant,” one of the new database entries, is an anti-Semitic meme that depicts a stereotypical image of a bearded Jewish man rubbing his hands together. Another addition, the “Moon Man” meme, is derived from “Mac Tonight,” a character in a McDonald’s advertising campaign during the 1980s. Internet trolls transformed the sunglasses-wearing cartoon moon into a vehicle for rap songs with racist and violent lyrics.
The ADL also added the “Dylann Roof Bowlcut,” an image of the hairstyle worn by the white supremacist who shot and killed nine black people in 2015 at a church in Charleston, South Carolina.
Roof’s bowl-style hair became an avatar for extremists, including a Washington, D.C., man whose relatives contacted the FBI to report concerns about his behavior and far-right extremist rhetoric after last year’s Pittsburgh synagogue massacre . Jeffrey Clark’s username on the Gab social media platform was “DC Bowl Gang,” an FBI agent wrote in a court filing for gun charges against Clark.

Google contractors in Pittsburgh voted Tuesday to join the United Steelworkers Union.
The group of about 80 workers, who are employed by the digital services company HCL Technologies, are “seeking a voice on the job and the opportunity to bargain over wages and working conditions,” the union said.
The move is a major win for TVCs — temps, vendors and contractors, in Google parlance — as tech workers have increasingly embraced organized labor. Google in particular has been the poster child for activism in Silicon Valley. Workers at the search giant have spoken out against the company’s initiatives in China, artificial intelligence projects and workplace culture. Last November, more than 20,000 workers held a massive global walkout to protest sexual harassment allegations against key executives at Google.
TVCs, who reportedly make up more than half Google’s workforce, have also protested to gain more rights at the company. Google in April said it’ll require temp companies that supply the search giant with temporary and contract workers to provide its staff with full benefits. Those benefits include health care, a $15 dollar minimum wage and paid parental leave.
“They deserve to have their voices heard,” Thomas Conway, president of USW, said in a statement. “Together, we’ll make sure that they are.”

Among others, the Finnish Swimming Teaching and Lifesaving Federation, an organisation dedicated to improving swimming skills and reducing drowning deaths in Finland, has specifically launched a course aimed at cultivating swimming skills and knowledge among immigrants. This is part of the Swimming Skills for All project, funded by the Finnish National Agency for Education.
“Our goal is to have immigrant-background instructors who can teach courses in their own language within a few years,” chairman Jukka Rantala stated, envisaging the long-term goal.
The swimming courses reportedly received an enthusiastic response from users.
“Initially we had doubts about whether we would get enough students for a full batch, but the reception was great and we got a lot of people,” Outi Penkkala, a teacher at Raseko Regional Education and Training Consortium, said.
Separate hours for men and women are becoming increasingly popular across the country. The Turku-based Petrelius swimming pool’s weekly women-only shifts have reportedly become a tremendous success, despite its segregationist approach.
“Swimming at the same time as men is not possible. It is forbidden in our culture,” Muslim woman Gulbahar Afghan told Yle. By her own admission, she has never had the chance to swim in her home country.
However, this goes hand in hand with the ongoing discussion on what kind of swimwear should be accepted in public swimming pools. Some institutions permit women to swim in comprehensive bathing suits known as Burkinis (a portmanteau word for burqa and bikini), which have long sleeves, leggings and a hood and are mostly worn by Muslim women in accordance with the teachings of Islam orthodoxy where showing skin is prohibited. Others, by contrast, are against it due to security aspects and hygienic considerations.
While many of Finland’s swimming halls have strict rules and don’t even accept shorts as swimwear, the country’s Discrimination Ombudsman specifically called burkini bans “discrimination based on religion and gender” and called to lift them.
According to a 2016 estimate, 2.7 percent of Finland’s population of 5.5 million is Muslim.”
Outrage Over Sweden’s ‘Absurd’ Plan to Delete Ancient History From School Curriculum (sputniknews, Sep 27, 2019)

“Previously-undisputed pillars of education such as ancient and medieval history will have to make way for contemporary topics such as gender roles, democratic values and immigration in the newly-proposed Swedish school curriculum.
A new syllabus developed for Sweden’s state schools by the country’s National Agency for Education proposes drastic changes in how history and humanities should be taught.
The most striking part is that Classical Antiquity and the Middle Ages, a formative period for the Western world in general and Sweden in particular, will disappear from the curriculum completely.
According to the daily Svenska Dagbladet, “ancient civilisations, from prehistoric times to about 1700” will be removed from the syllabus due to “insufficient teaching hours”.
Instead, the emphasis will be made on postwar times and a postmodernist view of society and history, rather than the classical philosophic outlook formed by Ancient Greek thinkers such as Socrates, Plato and Aristotle.
Due to the recent trend of focusing on social knowledge and recent history, ancient history has been gradually de-prioritised through “extensive deletions”. Now, large chunks of history, including the Roman Empire, the Viking Age and even the Swedish Imperial Era will be removed altogether.
By contrast, the proposed syllabus contains highly-politicised subjects such as gender roles, immigration, the environment, climate, so-called norm-challenging, democratic values, and critical theory. When it comes to history proper, focus will be put on Western colonialism, the slave trade and nationalism.
The National Agency for Education recognised that the decision to cut ties with such important cornerstones in the history of Sweden and Europe is controversial.
“It hurts us too”, says Anna Westerholm, the head of the Swedish National Agency for Education’s curriculum department, told Svenska Dagbladet. “We have done a fairly thorough examination of how content and hours match, and we know that the subject of history must carry too much. We have squeezed in too much. The hours are not enough.” According to Westerholm, removing elements defined as classical history “hurts the least”.
The National Agency for Education recognised that the proposal “will meet opposition”, admitting that this drastic measure “would rather be avoided”. However, it has been deemed necessary to “mitigate the serious and well-documented substance congestion”.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, the expected criticism was not long in coming. Jenny Wallensten, a researcher of ancient culture and social science at the Swedish Institute in Athens, called the proposal “absurd”.
“Antiquity, which has a unique historical and archaeological source material, is really the starting point that can create a long-term perspective,” Wallensten told Svenska Dagbladet. “If you have no knowledge of the ancient, you can have no respect for the future, either,” she contended.

“A new study from the University of Salzburg has shown 70 per cent of Austrians feel Islam is simply not compatible with the Western world.
The study, which involved 1,200 participants, found that Austrians were very concerned about the effect of Islam in their country, with 72 per cent going as far as to say Muslims were not a cultural asset for Austria, Kronen Zeitung reports.
Half of those who took part in the study said that they would be fine with restricting Muslims’ ability to practise their faith and nearly as many said that mosques should not be tolerated in Austria at all. A third say they oppose Muslims outright.
Another 59 per cent said that there were fearful of Muslims in Austria being terrorists and 79 per cent agreed that Muslim communities in the country should be closely watched by authorities.
In August, the Austrian Office for the Protection of the Constitution (BVT), the country’s domestic intelligence agency, said that radical Islamic terrorism is still the number one threat facing the country.
The BVT singled out returning Islamic State fighters from the Middle East as a danger due to possible combat experience they may have acquired.
Sociologist Wolfgang Aschauer, the author of the study, complained people were overlooking “the complexity of Islam”, which he felt was “under-emphasised”, and claimed that that the majority of Muslims in Austria were seeking to adapt to Austrian culture.
Ümit Vural, president of the Islamic Religious Community, also commented on the results of the study, saying, “We are part of the whole and we want to be perceived that way. Religious freedom is a fundamental right and a human right,” and blaming political decisions for the attitudes.
The study comes just over a year since another poll showed 84 per cent of Austrians stated they would not tolerate migrants who refused to integrate.”

Fiction is an odd but sometimes dangerous luxury. We enjoy it when we can afford it. We buy ourselves a fancy car, maybe a convertible, to make ourselves feel fancy. We buy certain clothes to adorn a glamorous or adventurous fashion of life we wish we had. This fiction is all a made-up atmosphere in our heads. It’s ok to live atmospherically when you can afford it and don’t go overboard.
Fiction, however, does not end with affordability.

Trump was referring to a moment at the outset of Thursday’s congressional hearing with the acting intelligence chief during which Schiff described Trump as saying on the call that he would tell Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky “seven times” to “make up dirt on my political opponent.”
Schiff later made clear that he was summarizing what happened on the July 25 call and that it was meant “to be, at least in part, parody.”
“The fact that that’s not clear is a separate problem in and of itself. Of course, the president never said, if I — if you don’t understand me, I’m going to say it seven more times. My point is, that’s the message that the Ukraine president was receiving in not so many words,” Schiff said.

Trump, who was extremely active on Twitter Friday morning, later asserted Schiff should be “investigated” and called him a “sick man.”
A rough transcript of Trump’s call with Zelensky was released by the White House on Wednesday. It showed Trump encouraging the Ukrainian leader to investigate unsubstantiated allegations against former Vice President Joe Biden, a front-runner for the 2020 Democratic nomination, and offering to put him in touch with his personal attorney, Rudy Giuliani, and Attorney General William Barr.
The call is at the center of an intelligence community whistleblower complaint alleging Trump was “using the power of his office to solicit interference from a foreign country in the 2020 U.S. election.” The complaint also alleged efforts within the White House to cover up records of the call after the fact.
A redacted version of the complaint was released Thursday, minutes before lawmakers grilled acting Director of National Intelligence Joseph Maguire about his handling of it during an open hearing.
Trump has defended the call as “perfect” and insisted he did not pressure Zelensky while noting the partial transcript of the call showed no explicit quid pro quo.
Earlier Friday, Trump tweeted that the call was “very legal and very good,” accusing Democrats of continuing a “witch hunt.” House Democrats launched formal impeachment proceedings on Tuesday after details began to emerge about Trump’s phone conversation with Zelensky.
The White House memo detailing the call shows Trump asking for a “favor” before entering into a discussion with Zelensky about investigating details related to Russian interference in the 2016 election. He later brings up Biden.

Former CIA officer and National Security Agency Chief of Staff Fred Fleitz is suggesting that the whistleblower accusing President Donald Trump of misconduct had help from lawyers and House Democrats in crafting his complaint.
He suggests the document is just too polished and has too much in common with the Democratic impeachment agenda — and a tweet from California Democratic Rep. Adam Schiff, who is also chairman of the House Intelligence Committee.
“This document looks as if this leaker had outside help, possibly from congressional members or staff,” Fleitz wrote Thursday in an op-ed piece for the New York Post.
He also says the whistleblower’s declassified complaint, made public Thursday, “appears to be written by a law professor.”
Fleitz, who is the president of the Center for Security Policy, describes himself as “troubled” by the whistleblower affair. “I am troubled by the complaint and wonder how an intelligence officer could file it over something a president said to a foreign leader. How could this be an intelligence matter?”
“It appears likely to me that this so-called whistleblower was pursuing a political agenda.”
The former CIA officer notes that he is “very familiar with transcripts of presidential phone calls since I edited and processed dozens of them when I worked for the NSC. I also know a lot about intelligence whistleblowers from my time with the CIA.”
“From my experience, such an extremely polished whistleblowing complaint is unheard of.”
The think tank director insists it’s “more than a coincidence that this complaint surfaced and was directed to the House Intelligence Committee just after Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), an outspoken opponent of Trump, expressed numerous complaints in August 2019 accusing the President of abusing aid to Ukraine to hurt Joe Biden.
Fleitz notes the similarity between the whistleblower’s complaint and an Aug. 28, 2019 tweet from Schiff and writes, “House Republicans need to ask the whistleblower under oath whether he spoke to the press or Congress about his complaint.”
He believes the entire whistleblower affair is part of a larger political plan.
“I refuse to believe that the leaking, timing and presentation of this complaint is coincidence. I don’t think the American people will buy this either,” adding that this latest instance of blatant politicization of intelligence by Trump haters will do long term damage to the relationship between the intelligence community and U.S. presidents for many years to come.”

The attack on Saudi Arabia’s Abqaiq and Khurais oil facilities on Sept. 14 served as a reality check for countries struggling to define the level of the threat posed by drone swarms and low-altitude cruise missiles. Now, in a region where that threat is particularly acute, countries are left to reexamine existing air defense technology.…
The drones struck Abqaiq, a facility that the Center for Strategic and International Studies think tank had warned the month before was a potential critical infrastructure target. Several cruise missiles fell short and did not hit the facility. Four cruise missiles struck Khurais.
What is clear is the failure of existing air defense systems to stop the attack.
The Abqaiq facility’s air defenses reportedly included the American-made Patriot system, Oerlikon GDF 35mm cannons equipped with the Skyguard radar and a version of France’s Crotale called Shahine….
[T]he primary challenge in stopping an attack like that in Saudi Arabia is not the ability to shoot down the threats, but rather to detect the low-flying threats.… When it comes to missiles, missile defense sensors will aim above the horizon because the missile is above it and you don’t want clutter. So when it comes to guarding, the issue is things that can sneak in near the ground…
[S]hooting down drone swarms can be accomplished with anti-aircraft guns, noting that Iraq downed several Tomahawk cruise missiles in 1991 after discovering their flight path.
The key, then, is to close the gap that potentially exists near the ground.…
The main threat is not face-to-face [combat] threats – it is rockets, drones, cruise missiles, maneuvering [theater ballistic missiles] and [short-range ballistic missiles] with big and small warheads. When we are talking about thousands or tens of thousands or more, it is very complicated, but it can be defeated…
One way to confront drone swarms involves soft-kill measures. Because drones are operated by GPS and radio control, jamming or taking control of the drone is one route.…
But… what stands out about the Abqaiq incident is that the homing by the drones appeared to be optical, not GPS-guided. Also noteworthy, evidence indicates that some of the UAVs weren’t carrying warheads, as they didn’t all explode.
Alternatively, a hard-kill approach might involve using a 5- to 10-kilowatt laser. Lasers can destroy drones up to 2.5 kms away…
Rubin described the attack on Saudi Arabia as a kind of “Pearl Harbor,” and it reminded him to an Aug. 17 attack on the Shaybah oil field in Saudi Arabia by Houthi rebels involving 10 drones.

In this particular case, Biden has changed his story of late. He now insists that the prosecutor, Viktor Shokin, was widely regarded as a bad apple, and then-Vice Pres. Biden was threatening to cut off U.S. aid to Ukraine for its — and our — own good.

Let’s face it: The Dems never had much to run on in the first place. The candidates have invested their energy and political capital on pie-in-the-sky proposals — the Green New Deal, reparations for slavery, climate change — that most voters rank low among their priorities, if at all. On top of that, the economy, which their candidates have assiduously ignored (with an assist from the media), has been robust, and a strong economy has been a perennial winner for incumbents in presidential elections throughout history.
And now that the Democrats have decided to bet the farm on impeachment, they are about to become a single-issue party. Some within the ranks are already sending up warning flares. Via Fox News:

The “whistleblower” complaint about the Trump-Zelensky phone call in July 2019 tells us some important things about the continuing dynamics of opposition to Trump inside the intelligence community (and, it appears, the State Department). Let us say rather that it confirms those important things, which we have had prior reason to deduce.
A portion of the complaint that most readers will gloss over is a big, informative “tell” here, so I will start with that. It’s the whistleblower’s point that the transcript of the phone call was saved on a segregated, special-codeword computer system, described on page 1 of the classified appendix.

This article is well worth the time it takes to read, it does a professional analysis of the complaint and points out the way they are (in effect if not physically) crying in frustration because the transcript was put on a computer system they can’t access. This tells us t hat 1) the whistler blower is used to looking through the lower level classified reports hunting for things that will hurt Trump so they can be leaded. 2) That Trump and his loyalists are getting smarter about the level of infiltration by Deep State minions who are out to sabotage everything theing Trump does no matter what the damage to the United States.
If you look at what the Dems are doing you can see their anger raising to the level that only a kinetic Civil War will satisfy them, a Civil War that will last a long time and will take a century or better after the end of the war for the hard feelings to be forgotten.

Phillips’ version of the comic book character is a stark and more realistic portrayal of a man descending into madness and murder. “The homicide rate in London this year is on course to surpass that of 2018, which had seen the highest level of violent killings in a decade.
The number of violent killings in London has risen to 110, following two separate fatal stabbings on Tuesday, higher than the 108 the city had experienced by September 25th, 2018, according to The Telegraph.
Last year, London saw 132 homicides, marking a ten-year high for the capital, a statistic to join others revealing the rising crime in the city since Labour’s Sadiq Khan became mayor of London.
Released by the London Assembly Conservatives to coincide with the third anniversary of Mr Khan’s mayoralty, the London Tories said their analysis showed a 52 per cent rise in knife crime, 30 per cent rise in gun crime, and a 24 per cent increase in homicide since 2016.
A spate of fatal stabbings and stabbing assaults in London resulted in Mr Khan being sharply criticised by U.S. President Donald J. Trump, who called the mayor a “disaster”. In November 2018, the mayor acknowledged the severity of the knife crime epidemic, but said it could take up to ten years to solve.
Shortly before 4 p.m. on Tuesday, 20-year-old Tashan Daniel was fatally stabbed in an “unprovoked attack” on a underground station platform in Hillingdon, Greater London. Tashan had been waiting to catch a train to see a football match at the time of the attack. Just hours later, 22-year-old Osvaldo Carvalho was stabbed to death near Ealing Common, West London.
The homicides will put increased pressure on London’s Metropolitan Police Service to tackle knife crime. Both the London mayor and Theresa May, in her time as home secretary, were opposed to the police tactic of stop-and-search — which allows police to search a suspect if they have “reasonable grounds” to suspect they are carrying a weapon — claiming it was disproportionately used on young, black men.
However, Mr Khan had to perform a u-turn on ending stop-and-search in January 2018 to crack down on surging knife crime, with the Home Office calling for expansion of the use in November 2018.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson has announced measures to crack down on crime in Britain, after the nation saw a rising homicide rate and knife crime. The prime minister said in August he would expand police’s power to use stop-and-search, hire 20,000 new officers, and make available 10,000 more prison places.”

“Police in the northern Nigerian city of Kaduna have rescued more than 300 male students from an Islamic school where many had been tortured and sexually abused, a police spokesman said Friday.
Officers raided a building in the Rigasa area city on Thursday where the victims including adults and minors were kept in “the most debasing and inhuman conditions in the name of teaching them the Koran and reforming them”, Kaduna state police spokesman Yakubu Sabo told AFP.
“We found around 100 students including children as young as nine, in chains stuffed in a small room all in the name of reforming them and making them responsible persons,” Sabo said.
The school which has been operating for a decade, enrolled students brought by their families to learn the Koran and be rehabilitated from drug abuse and other illnesses, police said.
The proprietor of the school and six staff were arrested during the raid.
Many of the rescued students bore scars on their backs and serious injuries, police said.
“The victims were abused. Some of them said they were sodomised by their teachers,” Sabo stated.
Police had been tipped off by complaints from local residents who became suspicious of what was happening inside the school.
During the raid on the school, police said they found a “torture chamber” where students were chained, hung and beaten.
‘Severe punishment’
One inmate quoted by Nigerian media described horrific conditions and treatment at the facility.
“I have spent three months here with chains on my legs,” Bello Hamza said, adding that he was meant to be in South Africa studying for his Master’s degree.
“This is supposed to be an Islamic centre, but trying to run away from here attracts severe punishment; they tie people and hang them to the ceiling for that.”
Pictures published in several newspapers showed an alleged victim with scars on his back and another chained up by his foot to a metal railing.
Sabo said the victims were of different nationalities and that “two of them said during interrogation they were brought by their parents from Burkina Faso”.
The identities of the rescued victims were being documented to determine where they came from and to contact their families.
Parents of some of the victims from within the city, contacted by police were “shocked and horrified” when they saw the condition of their children, as they had no idea what was happening inside the school.
Parents were allowed to visit their children every three months, but only in select areas of the premises.
“They were not allowed into the house to see what was happening… the children are only brought to them outside to meet them,” Sabo said.
“All they thought was their children are being taught the Koran and good manners as they looked subdued,” he added.
Private Islamic schools are common in mainly Muslim northern Nigeria, where government services are often lacking.”

Former House Speaker Paul Ryan, who currently sits on the board of Fox Corp., is reportedly urging Fox News to “decisively break” with President Donald Trump, according to a Thursday Vanity Fair report documenting the network’s “management bedlam.”
Vanity Fair’s Gabe Sherman, citing four sources, reported that Fox Corp. CEO Lachlan Murdoch, who has long tried to move Fox News to the center, “is already thinking about how to position the network for a post-Trump future.”
Ryan, the longtime Trump antagonist, has reportedly been suggesting to Murdoch that “Fox should decisively break with the president” as Murdoch holds “strategy conversations with Fox executives and anchors about how Fox News should prepare for life after Trump.”
