Americans for Limited Government President Rick Manning released a statement on Thursday, announcing that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) “has lost legitimacy” due to announcing an impeachment inquiry over a routine phone call, and should therefore “resign for the good of the country.”
“Speaker Pelosi has violated the very essence of being the Speaker of the whole House of Representatives and instead has turned her position into nothing more than a political hitman,” said Manning in a statement on Thursday.
On Tuesday, Speaker Pelosi announced a “formal impeachment inquiry” in reaction to President Donald Trump having a conversation with Ukraine president Volodymyr Zelensky, accusing the president of using “taxpayer money to shake down other countries for the benefit of his campaign.”
A transcript later released by the White House detailing President Trump’s phone call with President Zelensky, however, did not contain any mention of withholding funds.
“She should be ashamed of moving forward with impeachment proceedings based upon presidential actions that we now know are both legal and an important part of the President’s job to conduct foreign policy,” said Manning.

A treaty from 2000 between the Ukraine and the United States requires the two countries to cooperate on law enforcement matters, a factor that may help to explain why President Donald Trump felt comfortable questioning the involvement of Joe Biden and his son, Hunter, in Ukrainian affairs, during a telephone conversation two months ago with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
The American and Ukrainian governments, it turns out, are legally required by treaty to render mutual legal assistance in criminal matters.
The treaty, signed at Kiev on July 22, 1998, provides in Article 1 that “[t]he Contracting States shall provide mutual assistance, in accordance with the provisions of this Treaty, in connection with the investigation, prosecution, and prevention of offenses, and in proceedings related to criminal matters.” As every schoolchild used to know before teachers’ unions, New Age thinking, and identity politics dumbed down the educational system, under the Supremacy Clause of the U.S. Constitution, properly ratified treaties are the supreme law of the land.

Calls for President Trump’s impeachment have now reached a fevered pitch in the Democrat-controlled House of Representatives. The latest excuse to reverse the results of the 2016 presidential election is Ukrainegate. NBC has reported that, according to its tally, “[T]wo hundred and twenty one House Democrats and one independent — a majority of the chamber’s 435 members — now favor some kind of impeachment action against President Donald Trump.” The president’s decision to lean towards transparency and release key documents relevant to his call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy last July – a detailed memo of the call and a so-called “whistleblower” complaint that triggered the current uproar in Congress and the media – only increased the feeding frenzy. Thursday’s appearance of Joseph Maguire, the acting director of National Intelligence, before the House Intelligence Committee gave the Democrats a platform to try and stir up popular support for impeachment, in some cases with gross distortions of what the documents actually said.
The so-called whistleblower complaint that has Democrats and the Trump-hating media salivating was based on repetition of hearsay assertions made by unnamed U.S. Government officials that “the President of the United States is using the power of his office to solicit interference from a foreign country in the 2020 U.S. election.” The complaint alleged that such interference includes “pressuring a foreign country to investigate one of the President’s main domestic political rivals.” That would be former Vice President Joe Biden. “I was not a direct witness to most of the events described,” the whistleblower admitted upfront in the complaint, but he or she still insisted that the second-hand version of the critical events outlined in the complaint was credible because the sources were consistent with each other. Based on the sources’ own conclusory characterizations of events they had recounted to the whistleblower, the whistleblower claimed to be “concerned that these actions pose risks to U.S. national security and undermine the U.S. Government’s efforts to deter and counter foreign interference in U.S. elections.”

Wall Street Democratic donors are threatening to take their money across the aisle should the Democratic Party nominate Elizabeth Warren for president in 2020.
Some of the Democratic Party’s largest donors could sit out the election or back Trump in order to stave off Warren and her anti-wealth policies, according to CNBC. The Massachusetts senator released a proposal in January to tax the wealth of Americans worth over $50 million.
Warren has also pushed policies to increase regulations on wealthy businesses, such as corporate banks and private equity firms.

“You’re in a box because you’re a Democrat and you’re thinking, ‘I want to help the party, but she’s going to hurt me, so I’m going to help President Trump,'” one senior private equity executive said.

Warren does not appear to be troubled by the threats of some of the Democratic Party’s largest donors. On Sept. 10, she endorsed a CNBC clip of host Jim Cramer reporting that business executives are somewhat “fearful” of her winning the presidency.
Warren has gained support in recent weeks, eclipsing former Vice President Joe Biden as front-runner in national polling for the Democratic primary.

“Seven people including a baby and a four-year-old child drowned on Friday, when a dinghy carrying 18 migrants capsized, in the eastern Aegean Sea, near the Island of Oinousses, Anadolu Agency reports.
Four other people are missing in the incident.
So far 12 people have been rescued. They included four children, five men and three women.
A large search and rescue operation has been launched, while more vessels were heading to the same area to assist in the efforts, the Greece-based state news agency ANA-MPA reported.
Authorities have not provided details of the nationalities of the victims.
Several coast guard vessels and an aircraft operated by the European border agency Frontex and a Hellenic Air Force helicopter were also present in the area, searching for missing people.”

“Chinese authorities are harvesting and selling human organs from persecuted religious and ethnic minorities, including Uighur Muslims, the UN Human Rights Council was told this week.
The China Tribunal made the allegations at the council’s meeting in Geneva, accusing the Chinese government of taking hearts, lungs, kidneys and skin from Uighur Muslims and members of the Falun Gong religious group.
Hamid Sabi, a lawyer for the China Tribunal, told UN representatives that the group had proof of organ harvesting.
“Forced organ harvesting from prisoners of conscience, including the religious minorities of Falun Gong and Uighurs, has been committed for years throughout China on a significant scale,” Sabi said in a video published on the China Tribunal website.
A report by the group published in June found that a “very substantial number” of prisoners were “killed to order” by Chinese authorities, with some cut open while “still alive” for their organs, which were then to be sold.
The body parts, including kidneys, hearts, lungs, corneas, and skin, were used for medical purposes, the report alleged, including transplant surgeries…”

“Egypt’s Armed Forces said that it destroyed dozens of terrorist hideouts and killed 118 takfiri elements in north and central Sinai during its operations to eliminate terrorism in all strategic directions in the country in the past period.
The Armed Forces added that 10 army personnel, including an officer and nine soldiers, were killed and injured during these operations.
In an official statement issued by the General Command of the Armed Forces on Friday, the armed forces said the takfiri elements were found in possession of a number of rifles and explosive devices to be detonated in north and central Sinai.
The statement explained that Air Forces were able to target and destroy 33 hideouts used by the terrorist elements, and 115 4×4 vehicles.
The armed forces also seized and destroyed 37 vehicles and 42 motorcycles used by the terrorist elements during combing and raid operations.
The armed forces said it also detonated 273 explosive devices, which were planted to target forces in the vicinity of operations, and destroyed 11 tunnel openings in cooperation with border guards.
The operations also seized 2441 kgs of cannabis and other different types of narcotics during its security operations.
The statement added that Egypt’s Naval Forces continue to secure vital economic interests and enhance naval security in the territorial waters in the Mediterranean and Red seas.
Ilegal migration attempts by 11,071 people from different nationalities were foiled by the armed forces during the past period, the statement added.
“The armed forces and police stress on their continued efforts to eradicate the root of terrorism, and provide safety and security to the nation,” the statement concluded.”

“Turkey launched anti-terror operation against PKK in the country’s northeast, the Interior Ministry said on Sept. 26 in a statement.
Some 75 teams comprising 1,125 personnel are taking part in the
Operation K?ran-4 which launched in Sept. 24, in northeastern Kars, A?r? and I?d?r provinces, the statement said.
Operations in the region will continue, the ministry added.
On Aug. 17, Turkey launched Operation Kiran in country’s southeast against PKK terrorists in Van, Hakkari and ??rnak provinces, followed by the launch of Operation Kiran-2 on Aug. 27 in Mardin, ??rnak and Batman provinces.
Operation K?ran-3 also launched in Sept. 21 and targets terrorists in Bestler-Dereler and Herekol regions of southeastern ??rnak and Siirt provinces.
As a part of Operation K?ran-1,2,3, the security forces have neutralized 48 terrorists, destroyed 58 caves and seized large quantities of ammunition so far.
In its more than 30-year terror campaign against Turkey, the PKK — listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S. and the EU — has been responsible for the deaths of 40,000 people, including women, children and infants. The terrorist YPG is the PKK’s Syrian branch.”
