We have a candidate for a far left party, The Green Party, who foolishly believed the veneer level policies and beliefs of the party without any real understanding of what leftism in fact is. He appears to think that it is about fair and equal rights for women etc. and therefore wanted to know why a local imam would not speak out against the immolation of a woman by another local muslim. After all, it would be a good opportunity for distancing this act of sharia law from Islam which is the old normal. Instead, the Green Party asked the candidate to resign his candidacy for daring to ask the Imam to do the usual denial. I guess we are moving forward to the stage where Islam simply is above questioning at all.)
OTTAWA—A federal Green Party candidate was forced to drop out of the upcoming election campaign as he continues to call on the leader of the Quebec City mosque that was site of a 2017 massacre to denounce a man who allegedly lit his ex-wife on fire.
Luc Saint-Hilaire, the Green candidate for the Quebec riding of Lévis-Lotbinière, told the Star that the party gave him 24 hours to resign after he shared a post on Facebook following reports that a man accused of trying to kill his ex-wife by setting her on fire is Muslim.
Earlier this month, 39-year-old Frej Haj Messaoud was charged with attempted murder and aggravated assault for allegedly setting his ex-wife on fire in Quebec City, The Canadian Press has reported.
Saint-Hilaire’s post was first reported by blogging philosophy professor, Xavier Camus. Dated Aug. 13, it shows an image of Boufeldja Benabdallah, co-founder of the Centre culturel islamique de Québec, and reads in French: “It would be a good moment for the president of ‘the Islamic Association’ to condemn the repugnant actions of this ‘Mohamed’ who made his wife a human torch in front of her kids… but no! Facebook moderators who spend their days deleting vile and abusive comments from the social media site say their bosses tried to pry for confidential information that they shared with on-site therapists during private counselling sessions.
The claims have been put forth in a letter penned by ‘about a dozen moderators’ who work out of Facebook’s office in Austin, Texas, according to a report published in The Intercept on Friday.
The moderators are hired by Facebook contractor Accenture, and are reportedly ‘required to view as many as 800 pieces of disturbing content in a single shift’.
As part of their harrowing job – which includes reading, watching and listening to abuse materials – the moderators are offered on-site counselling to deal with the traumatic nature of the work.
But now, some of the employees allege that Accenture managers have been attempting to violate that safe and confidential space.
The letter, penned by the group of disgruntled moderators and published in full on The Intercept, claims that bosses began trying to pry on the therapy sessions back in early July, pressuring the therapists to divulge the content of their conversations with employees.

NY University Gender Studies Department Publishes Paper Saying Milking Cows Is Like Sexual Abuse
The journal of one New York university’s Women’s and Gender Studies program has published a paper that insists that milking cows is comparable to “sexual abuse,” “emotional trauma related to pregnancy,” and “nonconsensual hormone treatments,” according to Celine Ryan, writing for Campus Reform.
The paper, “Readying the Rape Rack: Feminism and the Exploitation of Non-Human Reproductive Systems,” was included in Dissenting Voices, published and edited by the Women’s and Gender Studies program at the College at Brockport State University of New York.
Ryan notes that the author, an intern for Brockport’s Women’s Studies Department, asserts that she must discuss the “under-researched” “feminist aspects of animal agriculture,” adding, “the same way women’s health has been at stake for years, a dairy cow’s reproductive system has been poked and prodded.”

9. Switzerland Mulls Checking Phones and Laptops of Migrants Seeking Asylum
(This one is hard to understand. As I hear it, if a law abiding Canadian in his or her own car, drives across the US Canadian border, just going for a weekend, complete with passports and even a car registered to the traveler, there is a good chance the US border guard will take your phone and attach it to a device which will such in every bit of information it has. Contacts, email, everything. So why in the world would illegal people seeking to stay, and usually live off the labour of others, and have a high probability of having evil intentions, be exempt from a device search?)
Debate has been going on for many months about examining newcomers’ smartphones and computers when carrying out background checks and verifying identities. Advocates of the measure insist that it could be a useful tool, as many arrive in Switzerland without any documents, while opponents argue that this is a violation of privacy.
The State Political Commission of the Swiss National Council has started working on legal changes that would allow the migration authorities to seize information from smartphones and other data storage devices belonging to people seeking asylum in Switzerland. The move was proposed by Swiss lawmaker Gregor Rutz.
“When an asylum seeker arrives in Switzerland and applies for protection, he must cooperate. This includes informing where he is going, where he has come from and why he is applying for asylum. We have found that 80% of newcomers arrived undocumented. One does not know where many have come from or who they are”, he said, pointing out that many do not want to provide information about this, so the authorities need to have a tool to find this out.

While the Soviet Union existed the farmers were allowed a small private section of ground that they could grow food for their own use and for sale but the majority of the land was common ground and the crop went to the government. 50% of the home grown food that was sold came from the private land and about 20 to 30% from the common land (larger by at least one order of magnitude). They had to buy the rest from the US and Canada, everyone in the Communist Party knew that if they distributed the land to the farmers and let them keep the profit the Soviet Union would be a food exporter. They knew this but refused to allow the farmers to make enough money to be independent.
This study serves the dual purpose of attacking for profit farming and the consumption of animal products. The vegan leftists want to force all of us to join in their stupidity and refuse to eat any meat or drink natural milk. This is going to become a major political issue over the next few decades.

What to make of this? Will forthcoming statements shed light on government reasoning for their disappointment? Would not count on it. Therefore, CAP are left to speculate.
Frankly, we are stumped. What is missing from the picture is what Justin Trudeau and Ralph Goodale believe should be done with Jihadi Jack. In CAP’s opinion, it is one giant farce to state the Liberal disagree with the U.K. governments decision without offering an explanation for the opinion.
Truly, it is the height of Liberal arrogance. This government doesn’t so much manage our nation, its economy, and vital institutions. Rather, they appear to believe they OWN Canada.
