Daily Links Post graphic

Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

  1. CBC manages to wrestle a white supremecy angle into an RCMP man hunt. It seems to be quite a determined effort since the crime committed, ostensibly, had nothing to do with race. Drawing the “Hate” theme into scenarios wherever possible is an effective tactic to position such a narrative foremost in peoples’ minds. Similarly, citing anthropogenic climate change as the reason for a hot day in July represents an identical specious opportunism.

  2. Iran Creates Homegrown Satellite, Two More in ‘Final Preparation’ Despite US Sanctions – Report (sputniknews, Jul 28, 2019)
    https://sputniknews.com/middleeast/201907281076385922-iran-creates-homegrown-satellite-two-more-in-final-preparation-despite-us-sanctions–report/

“Iranian engineers have developed a large array of advanced, domestically created technologies over the years despite over four decades of US sanctions against the country. This includes a variety of homegrown rocket and missile technologies, which Washington claims violates the provisions of the Iran nuclear deal. Tehran has denied such claims.

One domestically developed satellite is ready for launch and two more are in “final preparation,” Hadi Rezaei, deputy head of research and technology at the Iranian Space Research Centre, has announced.

Scientists and engineers successfully created and built the satellites in spite of tough sanctions affecting Iran’s ability to procure advanced technologies abroad, the official noted.

“Despite all the aforementioned restrictions, due to the efforts of ISRC researchers and the cooperation of other scientific and research centres in the country [work on] one satellite has been completed and it is ready for launch, while a measurement satellite and telecommunication satellite are in their final preparation stages,” Rezaei said, speaking to the Islamic Republic News Agency on Sunday.

According to the official, Iran’s advancements in this area are the result of Western import restrictions on advanced technologies, which have forced the country to build up its own scientific and technological potential, to train specialists and to create jobs in the field. The Iranian Space Research Centre is now cooperating with some 11 Iranian universities and over 300 knowledge-based and private sector companies, Rezaei noted…”

    https://sputniknews.com/middleeast/201907281076385215-yemens-houthis-say-carried-out-drone-strikes-on-saudi-najran-airport-reports/

“The military wing of Yemen’s Ansar Allah movement, also known as the Houthis, launched a drone attack on the Najran airport in southwestern Saudi Arabia, Almasirah broadcaster said on Sunday.

Qasef 2K drones, launched in response to continuous US-Saudi airstrikes, accurately hit the targets at the Najran airport and led to halting all air traffic, the broadcaster said.

Najran and its civilian facilities has been a regular target of Huthi attacks. The Najran airport has been closed for four years because of the armed hostilities in Yemen and reopened in May.

The armed conflict in Yemen between government forces, led by President Abdrabuh Mansour Hadi, and the Houthis has been ongoing since 2011. It peaked in 2015, when the Saudi-led coalition joined the military action on the government’s side.

The United Nations has repeatedly called the Yemeni conflict the world’s worst humanitarian crisis, with an estimated 24 million people – over 80 percent of the country’s population – currently in need of aid.”

    https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7294429/Italian-town-introduces-blasphemy-law-360-fines-handed-out.html

“An Italian town is introducing a new law making it illegal to ‘blaspheme against any faith or religion.’

Officials from Saonara, in northern Italy, will issue fines of up to €400 (£360) to individuals who break the new law, as part of a raft of new rules to tackle uncivil behaviour.

Mayor Walter Stefan, told The Telegraph: ‘Blasphemy is offensive, it offends me.

‘With this law you will not be able to cause offence to any religion, we have to respect the faithful.’

Mr Stefan, a practicing Catholic, emphasised it was not only designed to protect Christianity from offence, but all faiths.

He added: ‘It is valid for Allah, Buddha or Mohammad.’

The new law is part of a wider package of rules to try and tackle uncivil behaviour.

For example, people must not walk their dog without a leash or dump rubbish in public places.

Mr Stefan added: ‘We have taken a series of measures to contain all those uncivilised activities that make coexistence difficult,’

‘It will no longer be possible to cut the lawn at certain times, dogs must be kept on a leash and those who are blasphemous will pay the consequences.

‘We want to send a message that incorrect behaviour will no longer be tolerated.’

A number of messages will be sent to residents in multiple languages to warn them of the new rules.

  6. EU Dragging Hungary to Euro Court over Anti-Illegal Migration ‘Stop Soros’ Laws (breitbart, Jul 28, 2019)
    https://www.breitbart.com/europe/2019/07/28/eu-taking-hungary-to-euro-court-over-anti-illegal-migration-stop-soros-laws/

“The European Commission has begun a process that will see the Hungarian government taken to the Court of Justice of the European Union over its tough laws against illegal immigration.

The “Stop Soros” law, a reference to pro-migration billionaire plutocrat George Soros, was put forth last year and is aimed at punishing NGOs and other non-government actors who engage in facilitating illegal migration.

The European Commission, an unelected body which serves as the EU’s major source of EU-level law as well as its executive, began infringement procedures against Hungary last August. A report from Hungary Today states that the Commission has now referred the case to the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU, or ECJ).

Hungarian MP István Hollik, a member of the Christian Democratic People’s Party (KDNP), the sister party of Prime Minister Viktor Orbán’s Fidesz, said that the government was prepared for the procedure.

“The government believes that [the ‘Stop Soros’ laws] reflect the will of the Hungarian people and comply with the Geneva convention, the Schengen Agreement, and the Dublin Regulation,” he said.

Last year, Hungarian government spokesman Zoltán Kovács said of the legislation: “The new ‘Stop Soros’ legislative package puts forth a more rigorous response by declaring illegal immigration a grave threat to Hungary’s national security.”

“Committing such offences on a regular basis, providing financial support for illegal immigration or assisting illegal immigration in exchange for money will constitute felonies, and as such will be punishable by prison sentences of up to one year,” he added.

The EU’s infringement proceedings against Hungary over its anti-mass migration laws are nothing new. In October of 2017, the EU threatened the Hungarians over another NGO law designed to make foreign funding more transparent.

Prime Minister Orbán’s resistance to the open borders policies of George Soros also received criticism from members of the European People’s Party (EPP), a parliamentary group of which Fidesz is a member in the European Parliament.

The EPP suspended Fidesz earlier this year over a poster campaign in the lead up to the European Parliament elections that featured former European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker alongside George Soros.”

“Hungary’s prime minister says the European Union has made “grave mistakes” in the past five years regarding immigration and the economy.

Speaking Saturday in at a Hungarian cultural festival in Romania, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said the EU’s executive Commission needs to allow a council of EU interior ministers to decide migration issues.

Orban also said it was time to return to the ideal of a “competitive European economy.” Orban says “we need jobs and to implement tax cuts everywhere.”

He also said Hungary would likely need two more stimulus measures to protect its economy next year, such as tax cuts and investment incentives, because of slowing economic growth in Western European countries, Hungary’s main trading partners.”

“An Afghan official said Sunday that the government would hold its first-ever direct talks with the Taliban within two weeks, but the insurgents quickly denied any such meeting was planned and reiterated their opposition to negotiating with government representatives in their official capacity.

The Taliban have been holding peace talks with the United States for nearly a year but have refused to recognize the Kabul government, viewing it as an American puppet.

Abdul Salam Rahimi, Afghanistan’s state minister for peace affairs, said that a 15-member government delegation will meet with the Taliban in Europe, without elaborating.

Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said “there has been no agreement on such a meeting and that has not been coordinated with Taliban.” He said that once the insurgents reach an agreement with the U.S., they would be open to intra-Afghan talks, but any government representatives would have to participate in a personal capacity…”

  9. Indian police say they killed a top militant in Kashmir (abcnews, Jul 28, 2019)
    https://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/indian-police-killed-top-militant-kashmir-64614087

“A top commander of a Pakistan-based militant group was killed Sunday during an operation in the southern part of the Indian-administered part of Kashmir, the region’s police chief said.

Jammu and Kashmir police chief Dilbagh Singh said that Munna Bihari, a commander of the Jaish-e-Mohammad militant group, was killed with a local associate after a nightlong operation in Shopian town.

Singh said the commander was known for bomb-making and a series of civilian killings and attacks on the military in the area.

Jaish-e-Mohammad was blamed for a February car bombing on a paramilitary convoy that killed 40 Indian soldiers in the deadliest attack on Indian troops in recent history. The attack brought archrival nuclear nations India and Pakistan close to another war.

Jaish-e-Mohammad is outlawed in Pakistan but is thought to operate from safe havens in that country.

Kashmir is divided between India and Pakistan, but both claim the region in its entirety and have fought two wars over the territory.”

  10. Myanmar holds repatriation talks with Rohingya refugees (abcnews, Jul 28, 2019)
    https://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/myanmar-holds-repatriation-talks-rohingya-refugees-64614660

“A Myanmar government delegation has met with representatives of hundreds of thousands of Rohingya Muslim refugees in Bangladesh to discuss creating conditions for their safe repatriation, officials said Sunday.

Myanmar’s permanent foreign secretary, U Myint Thu, led a 10-member delegation for the weekend talks in refugee camps in Bangladesh’s Cox’s Bazar region. He said he told the refugees about the preparations being made for their repatriation and agreed to continue talks with them.

“We will continue to discuss with the Bangladesh government at the ministerial level as well as the working level at the joint working group,” U Myint Thu told reporters. “I will be meeting (Monday) with the Bangladesh foreign minister in Dhaka and then we will continue to discuss further on the repatriation process and at the ministerial level there will be a meeting in New York on the sidelines of the General Assembly … ”

He said the Myanmar delegation will bring along representatives of ASEAN, a grouping of Southeast Asian nations, for the next round of talks with the refugees.

Buddhist-majority Myanmar has long considered the Rohingya to be “Bengalis” from Bangladesh even though their families have lived in the country for generations. Nearly all have been denied citizenship since 1982, effectively rendering them stateless, and they are also denied freedom of movement and other basic rights.

The long-simmering Rohingya crisis exploded in August 2017 when Myanmar’s military launched what it called a clearance campaign in Rakhine state in response to an attack by a Rohingya insurgent group. The campaign led to the mass Rohingya exodus to Bangladesh and to accusations that security forces committed mass rapes and killings and burned thousands of homes.

The violence caused more than 700,000 Rohingya to flee to overcrowded refugee camps in neighboring Bangladesh and elsewhere for safety.”

  11. Questions for Eeyore, and I have only an inquiry and no “Contribution” at this time.

I like your Mohammedan 3 Stooges icon quite a bit.
Do you have t-shirts or other merchandise featuring this image?
Is the image copyrighted? If so who owns it?
    Is a larger image available?
It would make a great auto-placed signature to emails, a fine bumper magnet, …

    • Actually its from an idea i had a LONG time ago now, and I did make up some 50 or so T shirts with the image and a quote on the back about freedom of speech from a Dutch cartoonist.

I have them sitting in a box. I would be delighted to see you one. I think $20.00 plus, I dunno, $10.00 S&H I guess would do it?

Just say its for a 3 stooges T shirt in the comment field at Paypal if you want to get one that way. Let me know if you want me to send you a photo of it front and back. I believe I only have large though.

    • zero hedge – Hungary Offering $35,000, Lifetime Tax Exemption For Having Lots Of Children

Faced with a declining birth rate and an unwilling to fill population shortfalls with immigrants like some of its European neighbors, Hungary has rolled out a seven-point “Family Protection Action Plan” which showers boatloads of cash, loan assistance and tax breaks to couples who agree to crank out lots of Hungarian children.

For starters, the state is offering $35,000 to couples who get married and have at least three children. Specifically, women under 40 who are getting married for the first time will receive an interest-free, general-purpose loan of $35,000. Upon the birth of the couple’s first and second children, loan payments will be suspended for three years each – with 1/3 of the principal paid off after the second child. After the third child is born, the debt will be wiped out.

Couples with two or more children can also use their loans for the purchase of an existing property – but it gets better.

“People living in villages should wait just a little bit longer,” said Prime Minister Viktor Orbán in February. “Within a few weeks, we would like to announce a scheme specifically customised to their needs. This means that today young married couples agreeing to have two children are eligible for grants worth 22 million forints ($75,000 US) for starting their lives and creating their first homes, while families agreeing to have three children are eligible for grants worth 35 million forints ($120,000 US),” said Orbán in his February announcement.

Hungary will also help out with mortgages – picking up the tab on roughly $13,500 US after the couple’s third child, with an additional $3,500 US of relief for each further child.

Moreover, women who have given birth to and raised four children will pay no income taxes for the rest of their lives, while grandparents who are still working are entitled to take leave to help take care of their new grandchildren.

There’s even a $9,000 subsidy for the purchase of a seven-passenger vehicle. “If you’ve ever tried to fit three children with car seats and everything else you need for children and probably the dog too in a car, you know how hard it is,” said Hungary’s minister of state for family, youth and international affairs, Katalin Novák. “Cars in Europe also tend to be smaller than American cars”

As The Federalist’s Emma Elliott Freire notes, “An unusual feature of the subsidies is that they go into effect while a child is still in the womb. Parents can claim the relevant subsidy for their baby as soon as an expectant mother reaches her second trimester of pregnancy.”

“This is a philosophical aspect for us. We believe life begins at conception. We value unborn children, not only born children,” according to Novák, who added: “Hungarian young people are very family friendly. They want to get married and have at least two children. If that’s a fact, then we have to help them.”

Meanwhile, it looks like Orbán’s existing measures to boost fertility have been working since he took office.

She also argues the government’s policies are already proving successful. “Fertility has increased by more than 20 percent since 2010 [when Orbán took office]. It hit an all-time low of 1.25 in 2010 and now it is at 1.49,” she says. This still falls far short of the fertility replacement rate of 2.1, but Novák believes all signs point in the right direction for the long term, particularly the marriage rate.

“Between 2002 and 2010, under the Socialist government, the current opposition party, marriages decreased by 23 percent. Since 2010, marriages have increased by 43 percent,” says Novák. She believes if marriage rates go up, more children will inevitably follow. Novák also points out that since 2010, divorces have decreased by 29 percent and abortion in Hungary has fallen to an all-time low. -The Federalist

      The catch?

In order to receive the benefits, women must remain married and employed.

“We link family support to work. You have to take part in the labor market. Unemployment is at 3.4 percent. We struggle more with a lack of labor force,” according to Novák.

“We don’t want to change people. We want to make it possible for them to raise a family if they wish to,” she added. “I have three children with my husband. I know that there comes a moment when you sit down and decide if you want to have another child. You discuss pros and cons. We want to put more arguments in the pros column. It’s up to you, but we want to make it easier to have a child or another child.”

  15. Nearly 1,400 detained in Moscow protest; largest in decade

MOSCOW (AP) — Nearly 1,400 people were detained in a violent police crackdown on an opposition protest in Moscow, a Russian monitoring group said Sunday, adding that was the largest number of detentions at a rally in the Russian capital this decade.
    Full Coverage: Russia

OVD-Info, which has monitored police arrests since 2011, said the number of the detentions from Saturday’s protest reached 1,373 by early Sunday. The overwhelming majority of people were soon released but 150 remained in custody, OVD-Info and a lawyers’ legal aid group said Sunday.

Crackdowns on the anti-government protesters began days before the rally. Opposition leader Alexei Navalny was arrested and sentenced Wednesday to 30 days in jail for calling for Saturday’s protest against election authorities who barred some opposition candidates from running in the Sept. 8 vote for Moscow city council.

Navalny was unexpectedly hospitalized Sunday with a severe allergy attack, his spokeswoman said.

Kira Yarmysh said Navalny, who did not have any allergies beforehand, was taken from the Moscow jail to a hospital in the morning, arriving with severe facial swelling and red rashes. Hours later, she said Navalny was in a “satisfactory condition.”

  17. Mexico’s migration crackdown deters Central American migrants from U.S.

    OAN Newsroom
    UPDATED 12:48 PM PT — Friday, July 26, 2019

The White House may be weighing a travel ban on Guatemala in the wake of a failed agreement regarding asylum between the two countries. According to reports, this is one of three options being considered by administration officials.

The White House is also looking into imposing a remittance tax on foreign nationals who send money back to Guatemala or even tariffs. This follows threats by President Trump after Guatemala had backed out of a deal, and indications his administration may hold them accountable.

Some reports show countries who have been placed on the U.S. travel ban list have stopped nearly all legal migration to the country — highlighting the ban’s effectiveness.

One America’s Jacob Demille has details on how Mexico’s new hardline policies are impacting Guatemalans who consider seeking asylum in the U.S.

HONG KONG (Reuters) – Hong Kong authorities stepped up security and fired tear gas around China’s main representative office on Sunday as several protests broke out, with anger among the crowds simmering over what many see as an increasing cycle of violence against them.

Protests over the past two months spearheaded by pro-democracy activists against a proposed bill that would allow people to be extradited from the city to stand trial in courts in mainland China have grown increasingly violent.

  19. Congressman Ted Lieu: Somebody ‘got to’ Robert Mueller
By Rusty Weiss July 28, 2019

Rep. Ted Lieu (D-Calif.) tossed out a wild conspiracy theory during an interview on CNN, suggesting somebody “got to” Robert Mueller during his testimony and killed his big gotcha moment against the president.

Lieu, who promised his rabid liberal base that “minds may be blown” during the testimony, was inadvertently an integral part in the Democrats’ messaging about obstruction of justice falling apart.

During the morning session of the former special counsel’s testimony, he was a hero, getting Mueller to agree that his office didn’t charge the president with obstruction because of Department of Justice policies against indicting sitting presidents.

In the afternoon, it all came tumbling down. Mueller began the new session by correcting the record.

  20. the gateway pundit – Obama’s CIA Director Brennan Visited Europe in November 2016 After US Presidential Election – Why Was That?

Many believe that Obama’s former CIA Director John Brennan was the architect of the Trump – Russia collusion hoax. We’ve uncovered that Brennan visited European leaders shortly after the 2016 election. We have to ask why and for what purpose?

Former US Attorney Joe diGenova discussed his thoughts after the Mueller testimony in front of Congress last week. He confirmed much of what has already been posted and at the end of his excellent interview, he said –

By the way, just remember, John Brennan was the tip of the spear. This was his conspiracy from day one. John Brennan, don’t forget that name. He’s at the end of this entire, he’s at the beginning of the entire conspiracy.

diGenova’s interview leads nicely into breaking information we have gathered regarding Brennan’s actions under the Obama administration.

Former CIA agent Sabrina De Sousa knows Brennan’s actions well. As we reported a couple of weeks ago, former President Obama and his CIA Director John Brennan ignored her pleas for help and left her to rot in an Italian prison. Lucky for her, Donald Trump was elected President. After the election, her situation was alleviated by the Trump Administration for which she is grateful.

De Sousa believes that before the 2016 election Obama’s CIA was significantly emboldened with Brennan taking over all National Security issues where he had enormous latitude to do whatever he wanted, “knowing Obama and then Clinton would have his back”.

In her efforts to exonerate herself from false charges in Italy, De Sousa claims that she was helped by US Representative Devin Nunes, who she said also has some Portuguese ancestry. Nunes tried three times to intercede on her behalf while she was in Portugal, but this was all denied by Obama. Obama gave the impression through his actions that he didn’t care if US Intelligence employees were imprisoned for false crimes around the world or not.

De Sousa says that former CIA Directors like Michael Hayden also refused to act on her behalf in the past. People like Brennan and Hayden were fine with having their employees rot in foreign jails rather than have their own crimes related to a case be brought out into the public spotlight.

For the record, Michael Hayden smeared this website during an appearance on CSPAN. We have demanded he retract his smears.

What De Sousa did share is that John Brennan made a trip to Europe in late November 2016 shortly after the Presidential election. We know this because De Sousa found out that at the end November 2016, Brennan was present in Portugal during the transition period after the 2016 election and this resulted in a Portugal/Italy agreement to proceed with her immediate extradition from Portugal to prison in Italy. After President Trump was in power, he supported her and prevented her from going to jail in Italy.

But the strange aspect from our discussion with De Sousa is that the CIA Director’s oversea’s travel is always kept secret. However, her Portuguese lawyer was notified that Brennan had been in Lisbon in regards to her case. De Sousa states –

Later, Portuguese officials speaking on condition of anonymity said my status was never discussed. A far worse signal to send, that he, Brennan, was OK with whatever the Portuguese chose to do with his former employee. What stuck me most at the time, was my lawyer asking me with some trepidation if I thought “Brennan would ever come back in power”. This spoke volumes about how foreign intelligence services view being leveraged by the CIA to act as surrogates – even reluctantly – in targeting Americans.

The questions that need to be raised here are – What was Brennan doing in Portugal and who else did Brennan visit on his trip to Europe immediately after the 2016 election?

De Sousa believes that her case is covered by ‘state secrets’ law in Italy and that this prevents information from her case being released to the public, information that she believes would exonerate her from the charges placed against her in Italy.

De Souza also has a warning for Attorney General Bill Barr:

This is the wall Attorney General Barr and [the man he charged with getting to the bottom of the Russia Collusion Hoax] US Attorney John Durham will likely run into. Particularly if it is determined that Obama/Biden and Renzi [Italy’s former Prime Minister and Obama friend] knew. Italian Prime Minister Conte has the only office with authority to declassify [her case].

AG Barr will have to go to Conteif the actions taken by Italy’s former Prime Minister Renzi on behalf of Obama are held in ‘state secrets’ status. Barr may have to do this to find out who Joseph Mifsud was working for when he attempted to set up George Papadopoulos in the UK. This may be the only way to find out if Renzi and Obama worked behind the scenes to promote the Russia collusion hoax.

What did Brennan and Obama know and when did they know it? Also, what was Brennan doing in Europe after his favorite candidate Hillary Clinton lost the election? It’s time to find out.

Rep. John Ratcliffe: Nadler and Schiff are starting to look more and more like Laurel and Hardy. It’s time to move on… Trey Gowdy said it best this week, the person who learned the most about the Mueller report during Wednesday’s hearings was Robert Mueller. And that’s sad but true. And the Mueller report and its conclusions weren’t from Robert Mueller. They were written by what a lot of people believe was Hillary Clinton’s de facto legal team, people that supported her, even represented some of her aides. So the Mueller report is really going to be difficult for the Democrats or anyone to rely upon the findings of a report when they just listened to the man whose name was on top of it not have a command of what was even in it.

The non-coincidence of Russian-Chinese strategic air ops, missile launches by Iran and N. Korea, and a Persian Gulf security freak-out, all the same week
    By J.E. Dyer July 28, 2019

If you went by Western media coverage, you’d ignore the fact that Iran test-launched a Shahab-3 ballistic missile on, specifically, Wednesday, 24 July 2019, and North Korea test-launched two missiles seemingly similar to the Russian Iskander ballistic missile on, specifically, Thursday, 25 July; and you’d probably imagine that the missile launches were spontaneous, unrelated cosmic rebukes of Donald Trump’s policies on Iran and North Korea, which the Western media don’t like.

You would certainly ignore the fact that on Tuesday, 23 July, the day before the first missile launch, Russia and China conducted a joint strategic power demonstration with bomber flights in the Sea of Japan (East Sea), clearly intended to target the will and purpose of South Korea, while rattling Japan’s cage as a collateral benefit.

Such is the strange cognitive framework you would inhabit if you went by Western media coverage.

But if you performed the simple tasks of checking the calendar and pondering – even briefly – the connections between Russia, China, Iran, and North Korea, you might be more skeptical of the cosmic-rebuke analysis regarding Trump’s policies.

Richard: Russia and China are getting worried about Trump’s policies and how they are working against the enemies of the US. Back in hte Cold War we had the Communist Block (Combloc) that was the enemy of freedom. For a brief period after the collapse of t he Soviet Union we had the unipolar world where the US was the major world power and it looked like freedom was on the raise around the world.

Then Obama was elected and his decisions to 1) “Lead from behind” AKA back off and do nothing to help preserve freedom or protect our friends. 2) Spend the US into bankruptcy, In his 8 years in office he borrowed and spent more money then all of the rest of the US Presidents combined. This gave China the chance to become the menece t hat they are, gave Iran a chance to (with Russian and Chinese help) acquire nuclear weapons and delivery systems. Allow North Korea (With Chinese and Russian help) to develop nuclear weapons and delivery systems. While this was happening the left in Europe gained enough power to create the EU and start their attempt to turn Western Europe into a modified version of the Soviet Union.

In their fear of what the left was turning the US into the voters elected Donald Trump who set out to restore the US to the freedom we historically enjoyed. He also set out to protect our allies and stop the worlds predators from becoming more of a menace. Coming from a business background he understands the power of economic sanctions when properly used. In the past 2 and 1/2 years he has pushed North Korea to the point that Fat Boy Kim is worried about his personal survival as the sanctions hurt him and his top level followers personally. He has push China to the point they have become the prime candidate to start a world wide economic collapse. Pushed the Iranians to the ragged edge of economic collapse and forced Russia to step out from behind their puppets (Iran, and North Korea) and start showing their hands openly and once again become an open enemy of the US and freedom.

During the time this was happening Trump’s economy policies and economic pressure on our enemies has brought factories and their jobs back to the US and moved the US to energy self sufficiency. All of these moves have created a world that is at the same time safer then when Trump took office and more dangerous then when he took office. The latter is not because of our external enemies (if necessary we can fight a non nuclear war against both China and Russia and win) but because our internal enemies have not accepted that the civizens of the US don’t want their version of Marxism and perfer freedom. They are pushing the US into a civil war that will last along time, during this civil war our external enemies will move in ways that require our response which will be limited due to the internal fighting.

If the scenario above becomes reality it will touch off many small wars around the world that will create major problems for everyone alive and will last for much longer then WWII, possibly as long or longer then the Cold War.

Former US Attorney Joe diGenova joined former Governor Mike Huckabee and Trump Attorney Rudy Giuliani Wednesday night on The Ingraham Angle.

DiGenova told the panel the Inspector General report and a solo report on James Comey are coming out in about two weeks. DiGenova says the report will contain criminal referrals.

Joe DiGenova: The Horowitz report is coming out in May or early June. There’s another report that everyone has forgotten about involving James Comey alone. That will be out in two weeks. That report is going to be a bombshell. It is going to open up the investigation on a very high note and there are going to be criminal referrals in it.

They are already turning to violence in more cases but the violence will increase by several orders of magnitude. Unlike the terror campaign in the 1960s and early 70s this time the left will not be satsified in attacking just the police and the Federal Government . They are already calling everyone who votes for Trump and the Republicans racist and fascist with calls to get in their faces and to bash the fasch. This will turn into attacks on anyone who doesn’t openly support all of their policies. Once this violence starts we can expect it to migrate to all other Western Nations.

Of course, they said it was racist.

According to the pest control company Baltimore, Maryland is one of the “rattiest cities” in the United States.

  28. UK: ‘We want Tommy out!’ – Robinson supporters call for his release in Glasgow

A handful of Tommy Robinson supporters gathered in Glasgow on Sunday, to demand his release from prison and to voice their discontent with what they perceive as the increasing “Islamisation” of the Scottish city.

“I feel very passionately about what is happening in Britain at the moment. The lack of freedom of speech, the pandering to the left, pandering to Islam. The Islamisation, I’ve seen here in Glasgow already, the Islamisation it’s happening in this city.” said Scott Edwards, the protest organiser.

“We need change and I think with Boris Johnson coming in, if President Trump’s given him a thumbs up, that’s good enough for me.” he added, welcoming the selection of Boris Johnson as next Prime Minister of the UK.

Former English Defence League (EDL) leader, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, was found guilty last week of interfering with the trial of a sexual grooming gang at Leeds Crown Court in May 2018. The Old Bailey ruled that his Facebook Live video of defendants had breached reporting restrictions and jeopardised the trial.

He was originally jailed for 13 months on the day of the Facebook broadcast, but was released two months into his sentence after winning his appeal. The case was then referred to the Attorney General Geoffrey Cox who opted to bring fresh proceedings against him, which resulted in Robinson’s conviction for a further nine months.

  29. An Increasingly Dangerous Stand-off between Civilizations

    https://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/14360/standoff-between-civilizations

The number of deaths is not always a guide to the impact of a tragedy. One of the most recent tragedies had a high, but far from record-making, toll of fatalities. First, and as a basis for comparison, it is worth noting that the November 2015 Islamic State attacks in Paris slaughtered 90 people in the Bataclan Theatre and more elsewhere in the city, for a total of 130 deaths. The Islamist truck attack on a single stretch of road in Nice on 14 July 2016 took no fewer than 86 lives. On Easter Sunday, 21 April 2019, around 253 innocent people, including many children, were slaughtered during radical Muslim attacks on churches and three hotels in Sri Lanka, the largest death toll since the nearly 3,000 on September 11, 2001.

These all took their toll and will not soon be forgotten. Another attack recently took place that may have left a lasting impression, already changing how people think and act about our responses to these attacks and the people who perpetrate them, as we move more forcefully into a state of concerns on both sides of an increasingly dangerous stand-off between civilizations.

Most recently, 50 people were killed and another 50 were injured during an armed attack on two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand on March 15, 2019.

  30. Barreling Toward a Nuclear and Ballistic Missile Arms Race in the Middle East

BESA Center Perspectives Paper No. 1,239, July 28, 2019

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: The Middle East is barreling toward a nuclear and ballistic missile arms race. That race is being aided and abetted by a US policy that views the region through the dual prism of the need to stop an aggressive, expansionary, and destabilizing Islamic Republic that seeks to dominate it, and the view of the region as a lucrative market for the US defense and nuclear industry.

US policy is not the only factor feeding the burgeoning nuclear and ballistic missile arms race in the Middle East. It is also being enabled by the inability or unwillingness of the other major powers – Europe, Russia, and China – to counter crippling US sanctions against Iran in ways that would ensure that Tehran maintains an interest in adhering to the 2015 international agreement that curbed its nuclear program despite last year’s US withdrawal from the deal.

With the Middle East teetering on the brink of a military confrontation, Iran has vowed to start breaching the agreement next month if the international community, and particularly Europe, fails to shield it from US sanctions.

Former International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) deputy director general Olli Heinonen, a hardliner when it comes to Iran, asserted recently during a visit to Israel that Iran would need six to eight months to enrich uranium in the quantity and quality required to produce a nuclear bomb.

A British woman who alleged she was raped in Cyprus has been arrested on suspicion of making a false allegation, according to news agencies.

The 12 Israelis arrested over the alleged attack, which was said to have taken place on 17 July in Ayia Napa, have all been released.

Reuters and AFP said the 19-year-old woman was arrested on Sunday.

The Foreign Office said it was supporting a British woman and her family following her arrest in Cyprus.

She will appear in court on Monday, police spokesman Christos Andreou told AFP.

The British woman contacted police in the early hours of 17 July saying she had been assaulted in a hotel in the holiday resort. Later that day police arrested 12 males, who were remanded in custody.

The group, aged from 15 to 20, denied the claim.

Five of the group were released on Thursday and the remaining seven were sent home on Sunday.

The town of Ayia Napa is a resort popular with young people.

More than 1.3m British tourists visited Cyprus last year, according to Cyprus’s statistical service.

  33. Husband arrested over honour killing of beauty therapist Samia Shahid is ‘planning to return to UK with new British wife’ (dailymail, Jul 28, 2019)
    https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7295007/Husband-arrested-honour-killing-Samia-Shahid-planning-return-UK.html

“A husband who was arrested over the honour killing of his ex-wife is allegedly planning to return to the UK with his new British partner.

Samia Shahid, 28, from Manningham, Bradford, West Yorkshire, died in Pakistan in July 2016 after travelling to visit her father, whom she had been told was seriously ill.

Muhammad Shakeel, who is on bail, was arrested three years ago for her alleged murder and police later stated he had confessed to strangling the beauty therapist.

However confessions obtained under arrest in Pakistan are not admissable in criminal proceedings and three years on the case hasn’t gone to trial.

Now Ms Shahid’s MP Naz Shah has written to the Prime Minister of Pakistan after hearing the alleged murderer may be seeking entry into the UK with his new wife.

The Bradford politician said it was a ‘very worrying and very alarming’ situation and that she hoped the Home Secretary would block Shakeel’s entry to the UK.

Ms Shahid’s family arranged her marriage to her first cousin Shakeel in February 2012 in Jhelum, in the Northern Punjab.

She later obtained a divorce from Shakeel under Shariah law and married Syed Mukhtar Kazim in Leeds before moving to Dubai to live with him.

In July 2016, Ms Shahid received a telephone call, claiming that father was critically ill in Pakistan.

In order to visit her father, Ms Shahid flew to Islamabad airport against the advice of her husband, who believed that the call was a lie because Ms Shahid’s family felt a furious sense of shame towards their daughter for divorcing her first husband.

Ms Shahid was found dead in her cousin’s home in Punjab, Pakistan, on 20 July 2016, six days after landing in Pakistan.

Pakistan Police launched a murder investigation, after it was originally suggested Ms Shahid had died of natural causes.

Mukhtar Kazim claims Ms Shahid was murdered by her family because they rejected their marriage.

On the basis of his complaint, Ms Shahid’s father, Muhammad Shahid, and Shakeel were arrested by Jhelum police and sent to jail on remand.

On 14 August 2016, police stated that Shakeel confessed to strangling Shahid.

However Abu Bakar Khuda Bakash, the senior Punjab police officer in charge of the investigation, said at the time that ‘confessional statements have no value.’

He told the Telegraph: ‘Confessional statements have no value in the court so we are not looking for a confessional statement from the accused or anyone else. We are looking for evidence.’…”
