Understanding the concept of “Sanctuary” as outlined in yesterday’s VTB-posted video of Stephen Coughlin and a second speaker cannot be understated in terms of the information battle space. There is not the general outrage in Canada that one should expect, nor a call for any review of this Marxist legal authority. “Two men convicted in a mass terrorism trial were executed in Bahrain, the kingdom’s authorities announced Saturday in a case that activists have decried and that U.N. human rights experts had expressed concerns over.
Activists identified the two as Ali al-Arab, 25, and Ahmed al-Malali, 24. The Bahrain Institute for Rights and Democracy said the two had exhausted all their legal appeals after being sentenced to death in a mass trial alongside 58 other men in January 2018.
Attorney General Ahmed al-Hammadi said in a statement released on the Public Prosecution’s Instagram page that the individuals, who were not named in the statement, were involved in terrorist operations that killed a security officer, as well as in firing and wounding security forces, assisting in a prison riot, working with terrorist operatives in Iran and Iraq, possessing explosives and weapons illegally, and being involved in crimes against the state.
U.N. human rights experts had appealed to Bahrain to halt their executions amid concerns the men were coerced into making confessions through torture and did not receive a fair trial. The two were arrested in February 2017 and allegedly prevent from attending their trial. They were also allegedly not provided legal counsel before their trial.
The rights institute alleged that al-Arab was coerced into signing a confession while blindfolded and subjected to torture, including electric shocks and severe beatings. Al-Malali was allegedly shot during his arrest and was held incommunicado for a month before signing a confession…”

Italy detains two 19-year-old Americans in alleged slaying of policeman
ROME — Italian police said Saturday that two 19-year-old American tourists have confessed to fatally stabbing an Italian paramilitary policeman who was investigating the theft of a bag with a cellphone.
In a statement, Carabinieri officers investigating the death early Friday of officer Mario Cerciello Rega, 35, said the American men were detained for alleged murder and attempted extortion after being questioned overnight. They were taken to a Rome jail as the investigation continues. Italian authorities have not released their names.
The two had snatched the bag of a drug dealer in Rome after the man apparently gave them “a different substance” instead of cocaine, according to an Italian investigator who spoke on condition of anonymity since the probe was ongoing.
The Carabinieri said the Americans demanded a 100-euro ($112) ransom and a gram of cocaine to return the bag. The alleged dealer called police, saying he had arranged a meeting with the thieves to get his bag and cellphone back. Police says there was a scuffle at the rendezvous site and the policeman was stabbed eight times, dying shortly afterward in the hospital.
The Carabinieri said video surveillance cameras and witnesses allowed them to quickly identify the two Americans and find them in a hotel near the scene of the slaying. Police said the two Americans were “ready to leave” Italy when they were found.
In a search of their hotel room, the Carabinieri said they found a long knife, possibly the one used to attack Cerciello Rega. Police said the knife had been hidden behind a panel in the room’s ceiling. Police also said they found clothes the two apparently were wearing during the attack.
The Carabinieri statement said the two Americans admitted responsibility after being questioned by prosecutors and faced with “hard evidence.”
It was not known if the Americans had an Italian lawyer.
Carabinieri Lt. Col. Orazio Ianniello said Saturday the suspects weren’t being immediately named because they have no criminal records.

Suppressing testosterone levels in male athletes isn’t enough to eliminate their natural advantages over female athletes, according to a recently published paper in the Journal of Medical Ethics.
The paper’s findings contradict congressional Democrats’ claim that male athletes who identify as transgender don’t have an inherent advantage over their female competitors.
The paper, “Transwomen in elite sport: scientific and ethical considerations,” concluded that male athletes who identify as transgender women have an “intolerable” advantage over their female competitors.

A lawyer for Maria Butina is accusing federal prosecutors of withholding exculpatory information that the CEO of a multi-billion dollar company provided the FBI about the Russian national.
Robert Driscoll, the Butina lawyer, sent a letter Thursday to Justice Department officials requesting an investigation into possible misconduct by prosecutors and the FBI in handling information from Patrick Byrne, the CEO of online retailer Overstock.com.
Driscoll said in the letter, first reported by journalist Sara Carter, that Byrne has come forward to acknowledge he provided the FBI with information about Butina as part of a “non-standard arrangement” he had for years with the bureau. A transgender woman testified before the B.C. Human Rights tribunal Friday complaining that she was refused Brazilian waxes at more than a dozen beauty salons because she is transgender.
Jessica Yaniv says she’s been repeatedly refused waxing services since 2018. For the past several months, the tribunal has been conducting hearings into the complaints against each of the waxing salons and independent estheticians.
“None of these providers had any issue with anything until I mentioned I was transgender. Why was it not brought up saying, ‘Hey we don’t do services on male genitalia’?”
Yaniv, who identifies as female but has male genitalia, contacted the businesses through Facebook messages requesting to book an appointment for waxing services including a Brazilian wax which removes most or all pubic hair.
She says many of the estheticians advertised themselves as offering arm, leg, and pubic hair waxing for either male or female customers.
However, when Yaniv informed them she was transgender she says she was suddenly refused appointments outright, or that the estheticians made excuses for no longer being able to perform the service.
In response to the complaints against them, several estheticians have claimed to lack the training required for waxing male genitals, or that they are not comfortable doing so for religious or personal reasons.
Yaniv withdrew a previous complaint against Laser Cut and was ordered by the tribunal to pay legal costs of $150.
Religion and lack of training
Earlier this month, the Calgary-based Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms represented three British Columbian estheticians before the human rights tribunal.
“We don’t believe that it’s a human right to be able to compel a woman to wax male genitalia,” said lawyer and Justice Centre president John Carpay.
On its website, the centre states that one of its clients, Sandeep Banipal is not trained to wax male genitals and that Blue Heaven Beauty Lounge, the business she owns, does not advertise male genital waxing.
Sukhi Hehar Gill, an esthetician also represented by the Justice Centre, is a practicing Sikh and claims this prevents her from travelling to a biologically male’s house for house calls.
The public hearing attracted attention Friday with about 30 individuals attending the proceedings and gathering outside. Some were there to support Yaniv while others demonstrated in support of the estheticians, many of whom are women of colour.
In a May 2019 decision, the tribunal member adjudicating the hearing said she was “troubled that some of JY’s comments, made within this process and online, suggest that she holds stereotypical and negative views about immigrants to Canada.”
Yaniv is seeking financial remedies of $25,000 from at least one corporate salon and $7,500 from an independent esthetician.
She also wants the B.C. Human Rights tribunal to issue a statement declaring the refusal of waxing services to be discriminatory and prohibited.
“It’s not about the service at all,” said Yaniv after the hearing concluded on Friday. “When you start discriminating against certain service elements and certain protected classes that’s when we really have an issue.”
The tribunal says it will have a decision on the case within three months.

Szijjártó told the American outlet that “We Hungarians have proven that, with the support of the Central European countries who send troops and policemen to our southern border, that [illega] migration can be stopped” — part of a wider pushback against the United Nations narrative that migration is “inevitable” (as well as “desirable” and “necessary”).
He stressed that at sea, too, where hundreds of thousands of migrants have been ferried to Greece from Turkey, tens of thousands to Italy and Spain from North Africa, and hundreds to England from France, usually by or with the help of people-smugglers or so-called “rescue” ships operated by NGOs, it can be stopped, as Italy’s populist deputy prime minister and interior minister Matteo Salvini has proven.
“But unfortunately, instead of being supported by Brussels, he was enormously attacked by European institutions,” Szijjártó lamented.
Asked by Voice of America if the Hungarian governmnet’s robust opposition to mass migration and multiculturalism was at odds with its equally robust opposition to the Ukrainian government interfering with the rights of their Hungarian minority to attend Hungarian-language schools in Transcarpathia border region, Szijjártó was adamanet that the two issues were “totally different”.
“Hungarians in Transcarpathia have not moved there, they had been living there for centuries,” he explained.”

Between 2009 and 2014, the city saw 14,000 Parisians leave the city and head into the provinces for a different lifestyle, with more and more Parisians saying they would rather live in the countryside.
In March, a study by L’observatoire société et consommation (L’OBSOCO/Society and Consumption Observatory), found that 72 per cent of residents in the French capital thought a lot about living somewhere else, while 82 per cent said they would like to live in a small village in the countryside.
Part of the reason for the Bobos wanting to leave, according to Paris Zigzag, is the incredibly high costs of living in Paris, where some apartments can cost up to 10,000 euros per square metre.
Previously, Bobos were seen as members of the “elite” with solid educations and well-paying jobs, but now the new term “Paubo” — short for pauvre-bourgeois or poor-bourgeois — has become common as new graduates struggle to find affordable housing within the city.
Security is also a major issue, with around 48 per cent of Parisians saying they have been the victim of a robbery or assault in the last three years.
The situation is particularly bad for women, who are targetted for sexual assaults on French capital’s Metro subway and on the street. A report released in March highlighted a 30 per cent increase in sexual assaults on the Metro in 2018 alone, with over 1,000 cases reported.
In 2018, mobile phone app developer Fabien Boyaval went as far as designing an app to help chaperone women travelling around the city, to lessen the risk of them being victims of robberies or sex attacks.”

We know the spy stole information and shared it with Comey.
We now know that corrupt former FBI Director James Comey had an agent inside the White House reporting back to the FBI about Trump and his aides. It’s clear that Comey’s spy, Anthony Ferrante, was feeding information that he stole back to Comey. That is what spies do. But what is not yet clear is whether Ferrante, who now works for CNN, attempted to frame the President as well, from within the White House.
In March 2019 CNN reported that their cyber expert Anthony Ferrante was used by Buzzfeed as an expert in the lawsuit against them by Aleksej Gubarev. Gubarev denied the allegations published by Buzzfeed from the Trump Russia dossier and Buzzfeed used Ferrante as an expert in their defense.

The protesters also exhibited numerous placards and posters calling for rights of undocumented migrants.
