Grooming gang ringleader Arshid Hussain, who fathered Miss Woodhouse’s son through rape, was jailed for 35 years in 2016, but Miss Woodhouse said her family court experience made her feel she was on trial. 

Her petition, “stop rapists from accessing children conceived through rape”, has gained 500,000 signatures. 

 

She said Hussain had been offered a role in her son’s life and said: “It’s just horrendous. Why does the Government and the system protect the paedophiles and rapists? 

“The only person who gets the life sentence is the victim. He never went on trial – I did. I wake up every day and fight for something.” 

 

She said the media should be allowed to report family court proceedings “like you do in a rape trial” and urged an investigation and “overhaul” of the system.

5. Kuwait seizes terror cell linked to Brotherhood

Kuwait City: Kuwaiti security authorities had arrested a terrorist cell linked to the Muslim Brotherhood wanted in Egypt to serve jail sentences on terrorism-related charges, the Interior Ministry said on Friday.

 

Members of the group had fled from Egypt to Kuwait, but were arrested in different places in the country.

They admitted in preliminary investigations to have mounted terrorist attacks in different parts of Egypt before escaping to Kuwait, the ministry said, according to the official Kuwaiti news agency KUNA.

 

“Investigations are still under to determine who helped them to hide and covered them up and collaborators with them,” the ministry said.

Islamic State released its first Turkey Province propaganda video, but ISIS has long had a significant presence in the country

ISIS released a propaganda video from ‘Wilayah Turkey,’ showing a small group of militants pledging bayah, or allegiance to ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. The eighth in the “And the best outcome is for the righteous” series, the video is the first from this new province, but ISIS already has a complex presence in Turkey.

 

The five-minute long video released on July 10 is typical of earlier bayah videos. It features three militants sitting in front of what appears to be a handmade, large black standard commonly used by ISIS. They are joined by two more when making the pledge of allegiance while a sixth presumably operates the shaking camera.

 

The speaker is identified as Abu Qatada at-Turki, and he reaffirms the militants’ allegiance to Baghdadi while also threatening Turkey and America.

 

A weapons researcher known as Calibre Obscura noted that the militants appear well-armed in comparison to fighters seen in other videos in this series. A Draganov sniper rifle, a PKM machine gun, an RPG-7 rocket-propelled grenade launcher, two AKMS assault rifles, a Glock pistol, and some grenades appear throughout.

Canada pledged 400 million Canadian Dollars in support of women and girls’ education in developing countries including Afghanistan.

 

The Minister of International Development and Minister for Women and Gender Equality Maryam Monsef made the announcement in G7 development ministerial meetings in France earlier this month.

 

The Global Affairs Canada said in a statement “On July 4 to 5, 2019, the Honourable Maryam Monsef, Minister of International Development and Minister for Women and Gender Equality, attended G7 development ministerial meetings in Paris, France, where she met with her development counterparts and with education ministers from other G7 countries.”

 

The statement further added “During the meetings, Canada announced a CAD 400-million commitment to women and girls’ education in fragile, conflict and crisis situations, in support of the G7 Charlevoix Declaration on Quality Education for Girls, Adolescent Girls and Women in Developing Countries.”

8. Rackete files suit against Salvini

(ANSA) – Rome, July 12 – Sea-Watch3 skipper Carola Rackete on Friday filed a suit to close Interior Minister Matteo Salvini’s Facebook and Twitter accounts because they allegedly stoked hate against her and the Sicilian prosecutor who released her after she defied the minister’s closed-ports policy, Alessandra Vella.

 In the suit, which attached rape threats against her from social media haters who allegedly responded to Salvini’s criticism, the 31-year-old German migrant rescue ship captain argued that far-right League leader Salvini, who called her “a rich Communist scamp who shops in Portofino”, spreads hatred and instigates people to commit crimes.

Salvini has dismissed claims, notably from 5-Star Movement (M5S) equal opportunities cabinet secretary Vincenzo Spadafora, that his comments on Rackete were sexist, saying he would have said the same things about a man.
    He has called on Spadafora to resign “if he can’t stand being in government with dangerous male chauvinists and fascists”.
    The anti-establishment M5S is the League’s partner in Italy’s populist government.
    Spadafora stands by what he said and refuses to resign.
    Salvini reacted to Rackete’s announced suit Thursday by saying “the German Communist, the one who rammed the finance guard patrol boat, has asked prosecutors to close my Facebook and Twitter pages.

Daniel Greenfield has revealed that Izmir Koch is a Turkish Muslim, hailed along with his two brothers by the Dayton Daily News in 2014: “They’re paying taxes on the property and created jobs for the area right here.” But they also brought crime. Greenfield notes, among other things, that “Izmir had already been facing two counts of felonious assault, one involving a deadly weapon, from 2016.”

10. Albanian Police Arrest Russian ‘ISIS Fighter’

A Russian national accused of fighting for the ISIS militant group against Syrian government forces was arrested in Albania and will be extradited to Russia, Albanian police said on Friday.

Police said the 34-year-old man, identified as R.M., who was born in and a resident of Norilsk in Russia, entered Albania illegally after a court in Russia’s Chechen Republic ruled in April 2015 he should be arrested for being part of a terrorist group.

“In June 2013, this citizen left Russia for Syria, joined the illegal armed group named ‘ISIS’ and was an active participant in fighting against government forces in Syria,” a police statement said.

The final video – This video shows the breakdown of Western Civilization, this is what happens when you destroy the rule of law and attack the moral foundations of a civilization while not replace the destroyed and damaged social systems with anything that restrains people and teaches them to respect others. Actions like those shown are adding fuel to the growing resentment that will end in vigilante action against those who are acting like uncaring children with no knowledge on how germs and viruses are spread.
