The clinic saw the kid at 105°. Why didn’t they organize local hospital observation or admission on the spot? That avoids over-utilization of much more costly ER resources. No affiliation?
Maybe the clinic is a flyblown popcycle stand. Unlicensed personnel, somebody read the chart later and went – whoa!
